Great tool for any multilingual applications
What do you like best about the product?
Actually I am developer and mostly used Phrase SDK, and I think their best advantages in our android app are :
The SKD is very easy to setup and use.
Phraseapp support team are very helpfull.
New Phrase over air (OTA) is their best feature.

What do you dislike about the product?
I think its better to have more community and maybe more questions and answers in stackoverflow.com, for-example for me it took 3 days to understand that my issue is related to SDK version with AndroidX.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have 5 languages in our apps and Phrase really helped.
Excellent PM solution for smaller firms
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive userface is easy to learn even for absolute beginners
What do you dislike about the product?
Some inflexibility in workflow. Maybe I just haven't figured out how to use certain features, but doing corrections and ensuring that no mistakes are saved in the TM is difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are no longer translating the same thing over and over again. Coworkers with no CAT tool experience can start immediately and use the TM as a reference to translate better and faster.
Great translation product, very easy to work with.
What do you like best about the product?
Github integration allowing less technical teams/people to make updates which are then reflected in the code as a pull requests directly from Phrase. Many different formats available which suits our different requirements perfectly.
What do you dislike about the product?
manually uploading new translation files to delete old strings - this would be nice if it could be done with the import from github (could easily be a setting somewhere we have missed)

Phrase provides translations for all our products and applications, which all have different requirements, structures and formats.
Great tool for localising software
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and organise your translations. It also integrates with a wide range of tools which makes your life a lot easier when working with different locales.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't organise keys in the same job/project (i.e. if you have a set order, it'll still do it alphabetically) and it's also a bit more complicated to use when you have a longer copy (i.e. a blog post)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Localising the app and all communication in 25+ languages as well as integrating it in an easy way with 3rd party tools.
A complete solution for you localization
What do you like best about the product?
If you are an startup I think strongly believe that this is a great solution in order to avoid wasting time in translations. My dev team likes how easy is to not spending more time in import/export translations and how easy is to add translators to the platform. Moreover, the fact that you can directly send translations to a pool of translators it really helps a lot. Also, customer service is at your disposal at anytime which really helps.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could be more intuitive when it comes to translations for the translators. Apart from that, we miss the fack that I could be more customizable. One thing that could really help it is recomendations in translations like "are you sure you wanna translate this into this", but connecting the translation you made with many different translator and grammar correctors.

Phrase has streamlined our translation process
What do you like best about the product?
Phrase makes it easy to cluster keys into jobs, assign projects and keep an eye of the overall translation process. It's become an instrumental part of our broader localization efforts and makes translating into brand-new languages as easy as this process could be. Though labor-intensive, the ability to describe keys/add screenshots and comment on particular keys also allows us to keep all of the briefings and discussions to Phrase. This gives us one easy-to-manage space in which we can perform the full cycle of localization.
The tool itself is very easy to use, even if you don't have a technical background. The onboarding of new localizers/team members in our copy/localization team is quick and easy thanks to Phrase.
Phrase's support team is also very responsive and very helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can feel a little clunky at times and there are one or two persistent bugs that are slightly irritating, although these are not crucial. The pay structure also causes some limitations for us as we occasionally need to provide certain team members with temporary access. In this case, it's not worth us investing in a new seat, yet it's not possible to easily provide this team member with their own (temporary) account.
Assigning keys to screenshots is quite laborious and time-consuming. If we could bulk import and assign screenshots as we can with keys, descriptions, strings and tags, this would be a massive improvement.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phrase has improved our overall translation workflow by giving us a space in which we can manage, discuss and localize keys. Though it might not be necessary when translating into just a couple of languages, the tool makes it super easy for us to fully-localize and release our app into multiple languages, which in turn helps us better enter new markets.

What do you like best about the product?
Phrase is both developer and translator friendly. For translators, we especially like the In-Context editor, which allows you to manage translations directly from within your app.
For developers, the extensive API is a great asset. It is well documented and plenty of examples are provided. Furthermore, there are many guides to get you up and running with Phrase's various features for developers, for example how to integrate the In-Context editor (complete with detailed instructions for a bunch of frameworks).
Phrase is well priced, we felt we got a lot of value for our money.
I contacted customer support twice. Both times the response came incredibly fast. The person answering was skilled, knew the product by heart (also the technical parts) and really took the time to read my support request thoroughly. No copy-paste answers here, which is much appreciated.

What do you dislike about the product?
When integrating our app and our CI/CD process with Phrase, I ran into a couple of small issues. I wished these would've been clear right from the start. For example: the bitbucket integration is still very much a manual process: one needs to explicitly upload files to Phrase, and export files from Phrase to bitbucket. It would be nice if this was automated (upon check-in of a translation file, upon adjusting a translation in Phrase,...). In the end, we decided to ditch the Bitbucket integration and instead use the Phrase API to integrate our CI/CD, which gives you fine grained control, but is definitely more work.
The UI can be improved, I had some trouble getting used to it and finding my way around, it isn't the most intuitive UI. Also: it would be nice to edit all locales for a specific key from within the same window, without having to switch locales.

Phrase allows us to streamline the translations of our app. From development to translator and back, integrating translations between code and UI, Phrase offers various features to smooth out this (often painful) process.
Easy UI and great Costumer Service
What do you like best about the product?
Phrase is a perfect tool for its simplicity to use and easy set up across all roles: PM, developers, designers, and linguists. In addition, you count on a 24/7 Costumer service that solves your questions and issues in a matter of minutes.
We have also integrated Phrase with many of our tools, including Figma which gives us the opportunity of connect the fresh designs to be localised straight away.

What do you dislike about the product?
Phrase has been improving for the last few years, however, there are still some areas to improve such as management of content (sometimes it's tricky to find the content you're looking for) and on reporting purposes (being able to export data they already provide).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phrase is a tool that enables us to show localised content on our international sites within a few minutes. Due to its easy integrations with tools such as Github, WordPress, or Figma, we can get and send content straight away.
Understand documents efficiently
What do you like best about the product?
Phrase has simplest interface with all the features arranged in a well order. I did not face any difficulty in getting started, because it is a user friendly application. I also appreciate its customers services which gave us answer about our queries. We are glad to implement this tool in our organization. Now our project handling department is at ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
This product is limited in customizing the options. We cannot organize all options according to our company needs. Anyway it is working well and does not have any major problems. I really like the way it works and serve for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I will like to highlight search and key tagging feature which has made easier for me to tag our clients for the important events. And its context editing policy is amazing for making the desired translations in the articles. Phrase check-in feature has allowed us to be equipped with all the essential aspects of tackling the project.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is really not bounded by and business size, because it depends on the business needs of translating in to different languages. We are its happy users. Before purchasing we used its free trail version which was very helpful and also it is very reasonable in price.
A fundamental tool in the company.
What do you like best about the product?
I love Phrase, mainly because of its multilingual function, as it contains a fairly fluent translation analysis, which allows many companies to work in an easier and more comfortable way, when they need to interact with other international companies, more than anything I want is due to its ease, only once implemented, this software in an automated way is responsible for translating extensive websites, or large complete documents, into the national language, mentioning that it can be configured to any customizable taste.
What do you dislike about the product?
This software has disadvantages according to its operation, when it comes to a broad translation, the main Phrase system may slow down its execution process somewhat, since it does not meet the high expectations of an information version, being a low magnitude problem, since normally the texts to be translated are extremely long by nature, when we refer to the business level, but this only happens on occasions when the system is updated for new integrations, but it can also be annoying.

This software was implemented in the platform of our company, to facilitate our work with an automatic translation of all our registered data, when we address international businesses or clients, in the same way offering the service to users of the website, to a more considerable flow adapting to its national language, Phrase has been very useful to us in the agility of its functionality of transformation from one language to another, mentioning that it also expands the localization process through better integrations for excellent labor mobility.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
In agility and speed, when we refer to translation with varieties of languages integrated in its database, Phrase is the best on the subject, automatically offering the translations of information to another understanding environment, since this software gathers everything through organization of your location in a single platform and collaborate with your entire team online, if in your company, you present these aspects manually and you need an innovation not only in effectiveness but also in saving time, this system is the best alternative for your business , international clients and others.
