What do you like best about the product?
Phrase is really intuitive and easy to implement and use. It completely changed our translation process

You are paying per user when you can have many users that access eventually to Phrase.

Great localisation tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use. It makes our life much easier with the product development. Developers just adding keys, and then we have the possibility to dowload the localised resources just in 1 second. With our app, which is localised in more than 10 languages it is really challenging to handle all the keys, but Phrase does really help.
What do you dislike about the product?
I miss the mobile ready view when dealing with keys. For the rest of the platform more or less it has responsive design which makes the use of the app from mobile much easier. However if you try to deal with keys it is much harder, as it is not really optimised for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are handling our app localisation with Phrase. It is easy to use, and most importantly really convinient. We don't have to deal with huge excel sheets anymore, just handle the keys in one place.
A perfect solution for collaborative work
What do you like best about the product?
Memsource is a perfect solution for collaborative work in small and large groups. It is also a great tool for teaching CAT technology, both as part of undergraduate and graduate-level courses. This platform doesn’t have a steep learning curve, the interface is very intuitive. The updated comment feature is what I have been waiting for, it makes collaboration in class very productive. The cloud is reliable, during years of the active use I have never experienced any issues with the projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about Memsource. If I were to name the features that could be even more user-friendly, I would say that TM (or a reference corpus) concordance search feature could be a great addition to the current configuration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For two years, Memsource has continued to be a go-to solution for Translation Technology and Translation Practice (ENG-RUS) courses that I teach. Thanks to learning materials on the Memsource website, novice translators quickly get a grasp of the mechanics of the technology aided translation process.
Memsource is a complete, flexible, mature tool.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility of the web editor, the ability to integrate MTs, the automation options, and reporting abilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
The spell and grammar check are not as strong. I wish there was a way to integrate Microsoft's into the editor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The autosuggest powered by machine translation has been amazing for our team. Also, the automation widgets have been really useful in our team where translators create and manage projects themselves.
Our team's most preferred CAT tool
What do you like best about the product?
We love the simplicity and well-thought accessibility-- we are not bogged down trying to access frequently needed functions buried under layers of clicks, as we find for many other CAT tools that heavily slow down our efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
We wish Memsource's spellchecker was expanded to grammar as well. We also work into Asian languages and wish the QA tool recognized more potential issues in the target language.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are pushing the limits of turn-around times with very large projects using Memsource. Close, real-time collaboration among multiple team members is a major necessity for our team, and Memsource fosters this while enabling us to maintain maximum efficiency. Our team has trialed nearly every CAT tool out there and Memsource by far is unanimously everyone's preferred tool.

The interface is very intuitive and easy to learn, the QA feature is amazing!

If I could disable the immediate QA feature to use it at the ebbs of my translation I would be thrilled

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating projects with several MT is possible. Documentation is excellent too. Creating support tickets is very useful.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a tool easy to learn and use for linguists. Very helpful, the offline editor. I like the colors of the fuzzy matches. I found it very useful that it is possible to select which kind of rights each user can be assigned. Like for example, a service manager can see projects created by other users or not. Or for example, it is also possible to give access or rights to other project templates, so depending on the level of rights, it is possible to edit, delete them or access them. I find it also useful for non-advanced users the way file types are created, although I don't find it very useful for engineers, as it is only possible to apply the configuration at the moment of uploadeing the file.
Student-friendly CAT tool
What do you like best about the product?
Memsource is one CAT tool that we use with our students on our University Translation programme. They report high levels of satisfaction: it is easy to use, intuitive and rarely causes any issues. The help pages are very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about Memsource.

Training students to use CAT tools.
Most reliable localisation solution
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Phrase for almost 8 years, including at my current and previous company. It makes translation management really simple. Also, I love the fact that it integrates with Gengo (translation service provider). We can automate our entire localization workflow end-to-end.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing can get a bit expensive if you want access to advanced features. But the basic plan is sufficient for most of our needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We support 8 languages on Web, iOS and Android. Phrase makes it really easy to automate our development workflow and manage our translations (including ordering translations from other service providers).
Great translation management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use for dev and business people, UI-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Missing flutter integration, but it's already on Phrase roadmap AFAIK.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like the ability to have everyone contribute with their language to our translation texts with a smooth/review workflow. Also, I could add a new language and its translation super-fast in a couple of minutes.
