Easy to use and freelancer-friendly
What do you like best about the product?
It doesn't have a clogged menu and you can easily find the feature/command you need.
It does not take too much time to load and saves each edit very fast.
Working with labels is easier in Phrase than in other similar platforms.

What do you dislike about the product?
Large files tend to lag.
AI suggestions almost always miss the mark, so they are worse than the ones in similar platforms.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being cloud-based it can be accessed from any machine and there is no download necessary. I'm a freelance translator, so I can work on my projects whereever I go.
A reliable and convenient service
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate this platform because it ensures that inputted data is reliably saved in real-time, allowing me to work with confidence and peace of mind.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I contacted the support desk in English, I received a prompt response. However, when inquired in Japanese, it took longer to receive a reply. As this is a platform available in Japanese, I believe it would enhance the service even further if responses to inquiries in Japanese could be provided within a similar timeframe.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While working online, I was unsure whether my progress was being saved automatically, even after consulting the manual, so I reached out to the support desk. I promptly received a courteous response, along with clear instructions on how to ensure my work is saved before closing the screen, which was very helpful.

What do you like best about the product?
Phrase provides an end-to-end solution for localization for both project creation and project execution. It streamlines a collaboration among the project team via comment function as well as change history function.It is easy to use,easy to integrate, easy to implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
The flexibility of source editing can backfire as you can introduce a risk of erroneous source text change.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phrase Localization Platform helps streamlining the management of multilingual contents by easy access to translation memory and term base, as well as built-in QA tool. The addition of comment sharing allows the centralizing the communication channel across the translation team.
User friednly platform
What do you like best about the product?
Phrase is very easy to use for me. Its simple user interface and ease of use help me translate efficiently. I've been using it for about seven years and I'm satisfied with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not at the moment. If I had to mention something, it would be that it occasionally runs slowly.

Phrase helps me translate something smoothly.

What do you like best about the product?
its intuitive interface and robust features that streamline the localization process. It makes managing translations efficient and collaborative, especially with its support for multiple file formats and integration capabilities. The real-time translation suggestions and context previews are particularly helpful for maintaining accuracy and consistency across projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Phrase Localization Platform is highly efficient, I find that some of the advanced features can be a bit complex to navigate for new users. Additionally, the pricing structure could be more flexible to better accommodate smaller teams or projects. Occasionally, there are minor delays in syncing integrations, which can disrupt workflow.

The design could be more modern, but I don't dislike how it is now.

When assigning projects in TMS, it'd be good to have less options that are sometimes confusing, it has a lot of features that could be a bit overwhelming or even difficult to find the correct option to choose.

What do you like best about the product?
The most useful feature at this time for localization is the multiple file types that you can choose and how you can customize the options.
What do you dislike about the product?
As for the most useful feature I mentioned, I think it could be better if you add more examples to understand what some of the file customization fields are for, many of them give examples that are not understandable for most of the translators or it is not clear how to fill those fields, for example in the “Phrase tags”.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phrase solve our problems when we have some projects with complicated file types like .xml, the multiple options for customizing the settings make it possible to translate files that are not possible on other platforms.
Phrase provides an exceptional translation management experience that greatly benefits our users.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlined Translation Management: Implementing a clear and unified workflow for user groups offers numerous advantages. It ensures that everyone understands their roles and responsibilities, prevents misunderstandings, and fosters efficient communication. Previously, our translation database contained approximately 94,000 keys, making it difficult to identify and manage obsolete or unused keys. Phrase has helped us overcome these challenges by streamlining the translation process. We now advocate for consistent and descriptive key names, standardized naming conventions, the avoidance of special characters, and the adoption of automation wherever possible.
