What do you dislike about the product?
Probably an integrated AI would benefit the PhraseApp.
Like once you translate the project in Android it will make all the necessary translations into iOS, taking into account all the platform differences

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
a lot of translations are being automated or some localization jobs can be delegated with this online tool
Recommendations to others considering the product:
at least it suits us, which probably will suit companies like ours
Easy to use even for the non-tech-savvy
What do you like best about the product?
It's so intuitive and easy to use when you get the hang of it. The interface is so clear and easy to use, it supports multiple doc formats. You can upload all your keys in less than a minute. Key management is also very fast and quick. I also like the option that allows you to search terms in all the projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The help section could be more helpful, I sometimes struggle to find answer to certain questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our process for updating information in our app is fast, smooth and dynamic.
Support gets you through any integration question
What do you like best about the product?
Autotranslation, jobs, view with values of all locales, awesome support which replies to any questions pretty much instantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would be awesome to have branches per job for easier QA.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
i18n of our application. Less stress when going to production with new big features.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try and if get stuck, contact support for help - they'll reply fast and good.
The fact that is web based and accessible from anywhere is great.
What do you like best about the product?
As mentioned above, the fact that is web based and accessible from everywhere, can be linked to google drive and the smart memory that I can customise.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all files are accepted, certain slide decks and complex spreadsheet don't go through Memsource and we end up translating them manually which can be frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The memory is a key reference that I couldn't live without. It save huge amount of time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure it's compatible with other tools and processes you use.
What you need to localize your site
What do you like best about the product?
The main reason to choose it is that it has no limits for how many copies you can manage as other companies do. Apart from that, it has a lot of useful feature like the one called "jobs".
It is very easy to start working with the tool which makes you sure you have made the right choice.
Another good point is the huge variety of formats that you can use to import/export, it'd be very difficult for you to not be able to find a format which fits you. In our case using locales from JS and Ruby.

What do you dislike about the product?
It happens to me when I upload a nested json that sometimes some values have failed, but it has not always been and maybe from 2000 texts I've lost 2 translations. But when you go to the "locales" section you quickly see how many keys are missing the translation so it's not a big deal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're managing different projects with different languages for each of them. The best part is the Product team can access the tool and edit the copies as desired without having to imply the dev team which makes easier and quicker the process of edit texts in the application.
Great way to manage translations with a dedicated tool
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the Phrase chat functionality. The tool is quite self explaining, but anytime I have questions I can simply ask through the chat support and get help immediately.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot really say that I dislike something. I have some ideas from time to time for helpful functionalities and these will be hopefully there soon:-)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Phrase, we were using Excel sheets for translations. Meanwhile we manage 9 languages and this tool saves so much time.
Awesome way to manage translation on your website
What do you like best about the product?
As a product marketing manager, working in a multilanguage company, one of my regular responsibilities is translating new phrase strings to local language and making sure it's understandable to our users.
For a long long time, we were using excel spreadsheets, and changing anything was really troublesome as most stuff was hardcoded. Now, we can do it on the go and easily adjust based on our customers' feedback.
Phraseapp is very intuitive with project management dashboard, translation history, possibility to add a screenshot (so the business knows what particular string product had in mind) and allows you to invite multiple people to collaborate on translation.
On top of this, I like how the UI looks. Its very competent yet not distracting so you can focus on a task at hand.

What do you dislike about the product?
I cant really say there is something I dislike. Phraseapp is clean and easy to use so thumbs up.
One thing that could be added is that when you search for a string, you could see immediately "last update date" so you don't have to go into each one by one and look it up in details.

Using Phrase we manage translations for our services across EU for both, mobile and desktop. Before Phrase we were doing in via spreadsheet and gosh, never wanna go back to that time ;)
Essential tool for any multilingual site
What do you like best about the product?
Once we started using Phrase we didn't need developers adding the translations, but anyone could do it. This way developers can focus on code and not translations, and additiong and changing translations became very easy and fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
When we started using Phrase several years ago, it was less intuitive, but since then they invested a lot in usability and it's very intuitive and easy to use, also for non technical people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Once we started using PhraseApp, translating to several languages became very easy. Before it was a big burden on our developers, with lots of iterations to get just the right translation - all wasting valuable time from the developers and of porudct owners. Today, we don't need developers adding the translations, but anyone can do it. This way developers can focus on code and not translations.
Easy to use and best online solution for translation I ever used
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is really simple to use and the API has good documentation which makes the integration with our services easy. You can set up multiple projects and languages and this is cool too. They also have integration with other services like Github, Gitlab,...
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike it, but I would like to see a way to merge or associate a duplicate key. In a big project, it is quite easy to have duplicate values with different key names. And will be cool to have a group mechanism, so in case you update one value of one language, it will reflect in other keys too. Also, have a warning tool in case you have different keys with same value.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Translations are not handled only by developers but they can be shared across different sectors of the company. Multiple projects can make use of the same translation database. An online tool which offer an API to integrate applications with good documentation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for an online translation tool that is easy to use and can handle many languages as you want.
If you are looking for a good solution to manage multiple applications translation in one place.
If you are looking for a translation tool that can be managed not only by your developers' team.
If you are looking for a solution where there are multiple users managing the translation of your applications and you would like to avoid translation collision.

Great tool for working with multiple languages on any project size
What do you like best about the product?
We use Phrase on a very large project for our websites, emails, and applications. It offers a very simple and easy to use and well-organized sections.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've had a hard time finding a way to access specific languages in a project when everything was already translated. It could be a bit more straight forward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We offer apps that support around 20 different languages and we use Phrase to help us manage our projects in all of those languages. In many cases, we end up hiring Phrase's services to do some translations for us and it's often great!
