Awesome tool to manage translations and multi language systems
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to setup multiple teams and ensure the required parties are notified when a new translation is required on a specific key!
Intuitive and fast interface!
In my case, Phrase's flexible API makes it easy to integrate with other flows and include translations in automated build processes, for instance.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. Since we started using Phrase it improved a lot our workflows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By properly setting up teams I don't need to worry about who to reach within the organisation in order to get some translation done.
Since we integrated Phrase with our CI/CD pipelines we don't need to be dependant on other people translating texts anymore and delaying our releases.

Great tool to optimize the translation process !
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use.
We can keep track of what need to be translated and of changes that were made.

What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult question !
Maybe a way to prioritize translation would be good, but as I'm translating and not creating the translation request maybe it exists and is not used in our organization !

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are autonomous in the translation of the solutions provided by our company.
The fastest and easy to use tool to manage Website copy
What do you like best about the product?
With phrase the process of changing, translate or update website copy becomes an easy and much simpler process than update website code. We just need to find the keys that we are looking for and in one click our changes are save.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a point of improvement, while searching for the keys that we want to change or translate should appear in the search results all the keys related with what we've searched. It means, per example, when searching for "Houses", should appear in the results all the "Houses", "Houses", "House"; "Maison", "Casa"... Sometimes, in websites translated in many languages we can forget to translate all the similar words.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before phrase, the process of changing or adding new copy was quite slow and painful. We ended up losing days to deploy copy changes that now a days with the help of phrase we can do in seconds. Is also a very helpful tool to reflect the advertising campaigns in the copy of some website parts.
Essential for localization string organizing without chaos
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is clean and easy to use. We usually have tens and thousands of strings in our developing apps. Phraseapp provides an excellent interface to organize them in one place. You can easily re-write a string, and then just tap a button to next string to continue editing. It's really life-saving when you are dealing with the giant string table. Another cool thing is that Phraseapp supports plural form editing, and it fits well with iOS and Android's plural form formats. That's essential for app development.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is designed for desktop and barely usable on the phone. Phraseapp complies 2-column UI in their interface, and it shrinks the spaces in mobile phones. Just a suggestion that they can do some responsive design in it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a designer in the small-scale startup, I have to review the text used in our product from time to time during development. That often involved hundreds of string. For example, we finished a massive translation with help from a contract. I have to review all text and find out what's missing. I relied on Phraseapp's interface to make it a relatively easy job. It would cost ten times of effort without Phraseapp. The iteration happens all the time during development. Without Phraseapp, I can't imagine how I can make them done on time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try Phrase out, when your app or service has a massive string table. It's worthwhile. You will be happy with this decision.
A enjoyable tool that you can't missed in the multilingual apps development
What do you like best about the product?
As a developer, I personally like the CLI tool which provides an simple way to upload and sync the locale files. It is effortless in each steps and I love it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The In-Context editor is a beautiful and efficient tool for multilingual development as well, but somehow it requires sign in Phrase account frequently is a little bit annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Phrase in multiple projects, it helps in organizing and tracing each translation. Anyone could easily import or modify the translations without too much effort.
Organize your translation projects with great features for your team
What do you like best about the product?
* Phraseapp is really easy to use. I think this is the best part.
I love that you can organize Jobs in one project and that it includes great features like "predictive" text. It really helps me to complete translations faster and it actually really works.
The user interface is really easy to use, adding all details about 1 key in your project can save you a lot of time.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It just makes our workflow easier, you can check when a job is done easily. You can find keys and update translations from your projects in simple steps. It has helped us to maintain our work organized and our apps languages organized for all of our team. I think it is a very necessary tool for us.
Reliable timesaver
What do you like best about the product?
helps to organize large projects, automates the processes, API friendly, timely support, reliable with all file types
What do you dislike about the product?
setting up could be more straightforward
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
superuseful for projects of small number of words into 5+ target languages
Awesome! As we say in Brazil, "Uma mão na roda"!
What do you like best about the product?
Beautiful and easy to use! It's interface makes so much easier the communication between devs and copydeck reviwers.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's no much to complain, just improve the loading of the keys in the locale editor page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work in a team that is global, and phrase have created a bridge between devs and copydeck reviwers, keeping a consistent document of strings.
Perfectly integrated translation workflow
What do you like best about the product?
You get a nice UI to manage translations. It integrates perfectly into our existing tools and CI workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some very useful features are only available in pro plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We centralize translations for multiple frontends (web/ios) and enabled our non-devs to edit translations via phrase.
Great improvement in translation flow and localization content management

- ticket based approach to translation process - times of huge translation spreadsheet exchange through emails is luckily over,
- easy tracking of translation jobs and improved communication with translation offices (comments, mentions)
- possibility to introduce the translators to the context of translated wording (screens attachment, In-Context editor)
- API with cool possibilities of extracting by tags, using fallback languages, importing translations with a defined maturity level (reviewed, translated etc.)
- versioning and translation history
- suggestions mechanism (possible reuse from different projects across the company)
- easy upload mechanism for migration of previously used databases
- support for different formats of upload/download
- database branching

What do you dislike about the product?
As a future improvement it would be nice to see some sort of variants for a text with unique key to create length variations, similar to how it is handled for pluralization. E.g. key1.short, key1.medium, key1.long. This would help out to translate consistently for the whole ecosystem of devices with different display restrictions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main advantage that I see so far is the possibility to "chunk" the content. I don't have to create massive translation requests anymore. It is much easier to translate as the project evolves in iterative manner.
Other than that it is much easier to tackle the possible errors in translations given the nice, clean interface and branching mechanism.
The graphical interface creates also the possibility of including multiple stakeholders who can monitor the process and contribute to it. Everything is happening online.
