Perfect translation management, easy collaboration with customers
What do you like best about the product?
Using PhraseApp it becomes easy and comfortable to even manage huge amounts of content. The additional features also are helpful for translators to ensure consistency and compare translated versions of other languages.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, the only thing I can think of that I sometimes face issues with is the search function. It is not quite advanced and offers limited options to search for specific sequences.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phrase has been great to manage different target languages and helps to ensure consistency.
Great Value for Managing Multilingual Projects
What do you like best about the product?
Userfriendly UI and does not require detailed training. The support is very quick when having difficulties or questions or improvement issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
still waiting for a read only permission/role and maybe for less price in order to use Phrase also as glossary for translation memory and terminology topics
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
handling different locales and getting ride of big excel-files ;-)

What do you like best about the product?
I love that it’s so easy to search for translations and see what’s latest text. Previously colleagues nagged me, but now they can just look (and change) for themselves.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some things that I kinda take for granted, such as see change history for a translation, requires a pricier plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’ve never had such a smooth experience with ordering translations as with PhraseApp. The translations comes back in the right forward, ready to use right away, and it’s often done within hours. Hugely impressed!

Easy to use - even for a frontend developer
What do you like best about the product?
As a frontend web developer I am usually not involved into localization for the projects, but with phrase everything is so easy. The whole administration is so easy to use, no real explanation needed at all. Construction a key structure for more complicated projects is so easy to handle.
Even when facing issues, the documentation is really helpful and as far as I am aware, previous direct and personal contact to phrase was a good experience too.

What do you dislike about the product?
Just from my perspective as a frontend developer, who is usually using phrase with the administration panel and/or upload, but in total just with the keys, structure and integration intro views/templates, I cannot find anything negative at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Controlling different project structures containing more points where to use different keys from the same project was good to handle and a real benefit. The UI of the administration is another benefit. Where other tools really lack in a possible overview and clearness of the UI elements and the logic structure, I can so far see no issues like this with phrase.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have a look at other tools and compare well, as far as I can see this from a web frontend developer perspective, there is nothing out there which is as clear and logic as phrase is. The documentation is good and clear and the support, as far as I had contact or the company has, is really good.

What do you like best about the product?
How quick and easy it is to work with Phrase. The jobs feature, that allows the developer to target translators to translate specific keys. The possibility of tracking the history and changes made on translations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would enjoy the possibility to do some configurations, for example, the ability to rename the title of the file I download from Phrase. Also the possibility to rename several translation keys at once, and to be able to upload helpful images for translators to understand the context of translations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a time saver. It's more clear for translators. Expedites the whole translation process. There are no errors bond to happen due to repetition, like there are when using for example a spreadsheet to accomplish this.

It is a great tool, with lots to offer. It's a time saver. Quick to setup and use. Makes the whole translation process easier to handle.
I've worked with translations in projects a few times, but once I found out about Phrase, it was like fireworks!
The hassle of using a spreadsheet, or some other tool, is unbelievable. Phrase really set up a new way of working, and explored a very necessary working tool that was being overlooked.

Phrase is easy and fun to use in my day to day BAU.

The strings are not numbered and this makes it more difficult to review your work

Lots of good language features that help me get what I need to get done done.

We don't really use the project management functionality very much (although I would like to!). More help with managing work with freelance translators would be appreciated as this process gets a little confusing sometimes.

Translating lots of copy for web and mobile UIs. Phrase allows us to get lots of translations out.
Phrase interface is simple and intuitive.

CLI integration, easy untranslated ressource identification, easy translation from several languages and multiple project management.

The main drawback of phrase is its price even if it saved us lot of time. We also encountered registration issues but seems to be solved now.

Tech team can now provide any new resource to translation team in a snap.
