Great translations tool - Time saver!
What do you like best about the product?
How quick and easy it is to work with Phrase. The jobs feature, that allows the developer to target translators to translate specific keys. The possibility of tracking the history and changes made on translations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would enjoy the possibility to do some configurations, for example, the ability to rename the title of the file I download from Phrase. Also the possibility to rename several translation keys at once, and to be able to upload helpful images for translators to understand the context of translations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a time saver. It's more clear for translators. Expedites the whole translation process. There are no errors bond to happen due to repetition, like there are when using for example a spreadsheet to accomplish this.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great tool, with lots to offer. It's a time saver. Quick to setup and use. Makes the whole translation process easier to handle.
I've worked with translations in projects a few times, but once I found out about Phrase, it was like fireworks!
The hassle of using a spreadsheet, or some other tool, is unbelievable. Phrase really set up a new way of working, and explored a very necessary working tool that was being overlooked.

Phrase is easy and fun to use in my day to day BAU.
What do you dislike about the product?
The strings are not numbered and this makes it more difficult to review your work

We don't really use the project management functionality very much (although I would like to!). More help with managing work with freelance translators would be appreciated as this process gets a little confusing sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Translating lots of copy for web and mobile UIs. Phrase allows us to get lots of translations out.
Phrase interface is simple and intuitive.

I find Phrase to be an invaluable tool for streamlining my workflow and ensuring consistent and accurate translations. it is not necessary to install any software on our computer to access the projects we are working on, as it is a cloud-based solution. It is very easy to work remotely, both for translators and project managers. I also appreciate the flexibility that Phrase offers. It supports a wide range of file formats, making it compatible with various content types, such as websites, mobile apps, and documentation. This versatility allows me to work with different types of projects and adapt to the specific needs of each one.

If the internet connection is unstable or slow, it may impact the performance and responsiveness of the platform, making it difficult to work efficiently.

The possibility of accessing projects at any time and from anywhere. The platform provides a comprehensive set of tools that enable efficient translation workflows, including the ability to segment and organize content, track translation progress, and maintain a glossary and translation memory. CLI integration, easy untranslated ressource identification, easy translation from several languages and multiple project management.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main drawback of phrase is its price even if it saved us lot of time. We also encountered registration issues but seems to be solved now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tech team can now provide any new resource to translation team in a snap.
CLI integration also helped us a lot to add translations to our website and mobile app from the deployment process.

Translation management gets easier when all platforms get all-together in just one dashboard
Easy to use & always available
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is easy to use & accessable via laptop & mobile device, which is a huge advantage when solving something on the go. You can set up notifications on new changes or updates, which is very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any downsides. Maybe it should be easier to upload screenshots in connection with a translation (translations for a multi-language app sometimes gives challenges).

Multi-language translations for a Nordic app. It just works so easily.Employees situated in different countries and can collaborate across borders.

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is user friendly and helps me and my colleagues do our work as best we can. Saves our time and customer service is awesome

We are very pleased with the service od Phrase. We have nothing to reproach it right now.

Phrase is a tool that allows us to serve translations of the customer portal for the whole world.
Very intuitive for users

I was used to have an in-house made solution in my previous job, it had so many pain points and was really a chore to add key ressources and translated them correctly. But all this process could be easily acheived thanks to Phrase !
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the part with screenshots could be improved in display by creating maybe king of big categories divided by features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
difficulties for users to quicky translate and add key ressources. Phrase in mainly effective and so intuitive, I would recommend any PM to use it
Phrase was a real help for multilingual platform support
What do you like best about the product?
Phrase offers a very clear and intuitive user interface - for translators as well as for administration. The easy integration of the API is also a true asset to us.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have project based pricing - not by team size. This is not really scalable for multi-national companies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integration of machine translations (we're using DeepL engine) helped us to launch basic translation support for new locales. The ability to launch a new locale is super helpful - our customers love it (even though the machine translation offered is not yet perfect - but that's not Phrase's fault).
