Great online (and offline) platform
What do you like best about the product?
Phrase is very straightforward to use and includes a set of very useful QA tools which makes translating a breeze. It can be used online and offline, which is a plus. I am very pleased with the results of machine translation engine - it provides much better results that many others. I have been using Phrase for different clients for a few years now and can't fault it in any way.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with any other translation tool, there is be a learning curve to overcome in order to benefit from all the functions that it offers, but learning curve is not steep so the tool can be mastered after only a few projects.

Easy to use and straightforward interface, great machine translation engine that actually works.

What do you like best about the product?
The Prase localization platform is very user-friendly, even to beginner users. It's features, like QA and Condordance serach are straightforward. The fact that it autosaves the work is another positive, as it makes it hard for the user to lose the progress of their work. Finally, enother useful feature is that, if your project consists of more than one files, you can open all of them as one merged file.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only negative thing I could say about the platform is that the mobile phones application will cease to exist. I found it very useful to access my work and get updates for new jobs on my phone, even when I was away from my office.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Phrase on a daily basis as a translator, with a license granted by a translation company. I choose to accept or reject orders on website and translate texts in an application for Windows. I have also installed an application for Android, which I use on the go. The Desktop Editor is very lightweight, processes big files without delay, responds to all commands quickly, has a good built-in QA tool. You can easily export the result of your work in TMX format to save for further reference. As a rule, target files are created without any problems. Hotkeys are easy to use – no triple combinations. The application for Android is also very handy, I especially like that it sends a notification when a project is assigned to me, so I won’t miss out anything. Having received a new task, you can open a preview, see the analysis and accept or reject it with your smartphone. Occasionally I use it on my tablet for translating. Overall, I am very satisfied.

I would only recommend to use some additional QA tool as a guarantee.

Phrase is a good translation tool, which is widely used by translation companies. Using Phrase makes me competitive.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Phrase everyday. It's easy to use, particularly to work in a team. When we need to hire an external colleague to work with us, they don't need to install anything if they don't want to. It's really intuitive and easy to implement, you just need a navigator. All of its features are easy to use as well. Some members also integrate Phrase in their computers and everything runs smoothly. The few times we had trouble, customer support answered quickly, even with videos or offering to videocall.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is very expensive. There are no special discounts, offers or special pricing for countries with high inflation. You can't buy less than a licence for 1 project manager and 9 linguists plus guests.

We can translate in teams and reach to uniform versions. Great quality. Linked with larger vendors.
Efficient, intuitive, flexible and growing cloud platform
What do you like best about the product?
Setting up Phrase was quite easy and intuitive. Features are numerous and ever-growing. This company is quite agile and responds readily to customer demands. Support is fast and interactive. Integration with most common media and storage spaces is available. Generally, a very positive experience on a daily basis for project managers as well as translators.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see more language-specific features in the editor, especially regarding language-specific typographic rules.

The complexity of projects in terms of cross-related projects and the number of languages and providers.

What do you like best about the product?
It's quick even on slower machines and the browser version is on point.

Missing ai driven suggestions and fragment recognitions.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Phrase to translate documents and presentations for my clients. It has greatly simplified my work by providing an easy-to-use interface for translating, while the featured translation memories and term bases accelerate my workflow and ensure consistency. The integrated machine translation feature is helpful. The quality control tool goes way beyond what the Office editor can do. Whenever I have a specific use case or problem, their customer support is friendly, quick and competent and will quickly provide me with a Screencast to solve any issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
From my perspective as a freelance translator working mostly alone, I don't see any downsides to using Phrase. Whenever I do have a specific problem, their customer support is quick to help.

machine translation pre-translates the next segment automatically when you confirm the previous one, I would change this

Different API calls often use the same input values but they are often named differently, that makes integrating Phrase in other projects a pain in the ass.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am looking forward to the use of AI in phrase!
