A thorough and game-changing tool

What do you like best about the product?
Bynder has a mind-blowing amount of features and customization available. The flexibility and level of detail this platform allows will be a game changer for our organization. I also like how easy it is to search and locate assets. Before implementing Bynder, trying to find a particular asset was a time consuming and tedious task that brought dread and procrastination.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside of the amount of features and customization available is that the learning curve for users/admin is quite steep. There are a lot of detailed steps involved to make sure you are taking full advantage of the platform and uploading assets in a thorough manner. We are a small team, so onboarding to Bynder took a lot of resources and bandwidth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder is helping us organize assets for internal use and also helping us distribute assets to external dealers and reps. Before implementing Bynder, our assets were siloed across Google Drive, Dropbox, and harddrives between various team members. There was no one unified location for our assets, so locating and distributing/sharing items was cumbersome. With Bynder, we have one source - so everyone is on the same page - and one seamless way to distribute and share without having to rely on multiple avenues such as email, wetransfer, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
User experience - from sales to account management. We haven't officially launched and I'm already feeling like the adoption of Bynder by our teams is going to be so much smoother than our previous system. First, sales. It wasn't the stereotypical experience. I reached out to Bynder through research. Response from the team, with my multiple requests for demos for different stakeholders, they made it all happen. Second, kickoff and setup. I'm still geeking out from this whole experience because I love the guidance and I feel like I will succeed launching this. And the Type A part of my brain loves the structure, organization and process. Yes, they should make us feel successful because it's in their best interest, right? Okay, I get it, we already paid, so they got us locked in, but that didn't stop the team from slacking on our set up and following through on all of our questions and requests. Trust me, along with the number of demos I requested from sales, I requested even more meeting time changes during training. We're reaching launch and while I'm nervous because it's a new system, I'm psyched. Seriously stoked that we're launching with this. I can't thank our team enough. Paul, Francine, Anthony ... AMAZING!
What do you dislike about the product?
I'll let you know if I ever run into something.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization, ease of use, adoption by our teams (haven't officially launch but I have high hopes), overall user experience.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of Use and Customer Support were great. This will be transformative for our company to find and utilize our digital assets. I love that there are a number of features to create customizations, and so many controls to make sure the right people have access to the right things. It is a lot to learn, but all easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
With so much customization, there is a lot to learn. I do think some areas could be more user-friendly, specifically, the home page set up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before, all of our assets lived in folders, some of which were very organized, and some of which were note. These folders were on Sharepoint, different servers, hard drives, etc. Bynder creates a central repository to easly tag our assets to make them easy to find.

What do you like best about the product?
We switched to Bynder because of the simplicity of the interface, and we needed something to store our documents, and it met our needs. We also liked that we could bring on more users for the same price we were paying for another platform. Their onboarding process and implementation was easy, and we appreciated our weekly meetings with our Onboarding Manager. She guided us every step of the way.
What do you dislike about the product?
We use a lot of Google workspace documents and spreadsheets, so I'm not a fan that they don't have an ability to preview a google doc just by entering the Google link. But this was something we compromised on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a simple solution to store and distribute our sales and marketing collateral internally. With Bynder we are able to bring on more users, instead of having to ration the number of seats across teams.

Easiest Onboarding Experience with the Best Team

What do you like best about the product?
At first, Bynder felt like a massive, overwhelming, never-ending project. But thanks to Nicole Carroll and Caitlyn Grant, the onboarding process was smooth, approachable, and incredibly effective.

Nicole and Caitlyn broke everything down into small, manageable pieces—day by day. Each session introduced a new aspect of Bynder in a logical, digestible order. This structured approach prevented that all-too-familiar feeling of having a mountain of information dumped on us all at once.

What really made the experience exceptional was their supportive and professional demeanor. No question was ever treated as silly, and I always felt completely comfortable speaking up. That level of psychological safety is huge when you're learning a complex platform like Bynder.

Nicole and Caitlyn, thank you for your patience, clarity, and genuine kindness throughout the process. You made a daunting system feel totally doable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’d honestly say there’s not much I’ve disliked about Bynder so far. Like any system, it comes with a few quirks—but once you learn the workarounds, those small hurdles become non-issues. After that, there’s really not much you can’t accomplish in Bynder. It’s a powerful tool once you understand how to navigate it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder will be a huge help when it comes to integration. It connects seamlessly with many of the platforms we already use, making it easy to access brand images and company-wide assets from a single, centralized location. That kind of accessibility will really streamline our workflow and ensure everyone’s working with the most up-to-date materials.

Modern UX for users, affordable for our company use case, customizable to brand standards, straightforward workflow when adding/organizing media.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Amazon gift card they're giving me for completing this review is $25 instead of $26. In this economy?

Content distribution to retailers and media partners. One source of truth for imagery that is organized and tagged properly.

What do you like best about the product?
Wonderful sales team and best implementation team ever!

Easy to use platform. Wonderful UI. Fabulous AI functionality (except for auto tagging). Killer admin tools, especially around role-based security and permissions management.

What do you dislike about the product?
Wish they unified the global search UX into a single experience (instead of breaking out the natural language search feature).

No easy way to modify the home page UI.

The microsite creation UI/UX is not the greatest, especially compared with no-code/low-code consumer tools like Wix.

AI auto tagging is a disaster because it's still on an antiquated backend. But the rest of the AI functionality is top notch.

Analytics is terrible!

What do you like best about the product?
The people at Bynder are fantastic. The tool is very versatile, adaptable and flexible. Having a partner to work with as we talk through Use Cases, Scope and options was critical to build out the special project we were needing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the options are a little overwhelming. Because you can do almost ANYTHING you might need. It can be hard to know what path & steps to take.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We started with a smaller scope for our initial DAM launch in 2021. After we launched that product, we have new business units wanting to solve their own problems. There are multiple opportunities for our DAM to grow and flourish. The more we use it, the more we invest time and energy, the better the tool benefits us.
