Top Tier Experience with Account Executive and Onboarding Manager!
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder is a phenomenal Digital Asset Manager. Its functions and features have met and exceeded all my expectations for a DAM, but more than the product itself, the true highlight has been the staff and community supporting it. Matthew Smith was a great Account Executive—always well-prepared, informed, and dedicated to answering all our questions, which gave us full confidence in the product and brand. Francine Rodriguez was a phenomenal Onboarding Manager. I cannot express how impressed I was with her knowledge, ability, and dedication to ensuring our success. She knew how to balance educating and prompting action with such grace. I have never had a customer support experience come close to what I experienced with her—she is truly the best!
What do you dislike about the product?
I’ve encountered a few hangups, such as issues with refreshing changes on the homepage, delays in thumbnail appearances while uploading, and some features that aren’t the most intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder has eliminated the frustration of lost assets, cluttered digital storage, and the headache of navigating an unorganized file system. It has made a huge difference by bringing structure, organization, and ease of use, allowing me to find what I need quickly and efficiently.
Does it's job but not as customizable
What do you like best about the product?
It's pretty easy to use. I like the custom fields option for metadata. Our team used it every day and it does integrate with a lot of tools since it has an open API. It was pretty easy to implement and the customer support was helpful in setting it up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not as customized as I would have liked. The collections feature is nice but wish there was more of a folder structure to organize it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It did make it easy to dissmeninate a lot of assets at once and the custom permissions allowed us to have internal and external users that had access to only what they needed. It also reduced the amount of assets that were used outside of their intended purpose.
Great product; Incredible people
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder is leading in the DAM space. The platform is intuitive, their onboarding is stellar, their customer support is clear and not at all condescending (Nick Taylor, if you can arrange it, is just the best), and their features just get better.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish it cost less, and I'm hoping annual prices can come down as (or if) storage costs decrease and subscribers increase. For us, my only worry is we'll be priced out. But they've also been incredibly willing to work within our budget.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pre-Bynder, our method for storing and distributing digital assets like photos, videos and graphics was to store locally and share links to our folders. Bynder offers a secure, searchable database of tagged images that we can distribute to our de-centralized university partners.
Love teh product and the Onboarding was Concise and Helpful!
What do you like best about the product?
I like all the people I have met with Bynder specically Rachel Jang (Customer Onboardign Manager) and Ryan England (Account Executive). I love the portal and its very user friendly and customizable!
What do you dislike about the product?
NO Dislikes thus far but I haven't my full company roll out yet. I have jsut completed the onboarding!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have Terabytes of Digital assets that need to be quicly accessed daily accross several departments adn users.
Bynder: a DAM good asset management system
What do you like best about the product?
User-friendly interface that is intuitive to use.
Easy set-up, apart from the integration of legacy assets (migration), the tool takes very little time to set up and start using.

What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of a folder structure, though the search feature is very robust, it is not robust enough yet to accomodate a large-scale database with 500 000 + assets. Searching and selecting files should allow for more complex search queries (combining AND OR NOT natively in the metaproperties structure and not just by using the code in the search bar)
More flexibility in the data model, it is for example not possible to create a boolean field.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder is providing us with a single source-of-truth for all digital assets, starting with the marketing-related assets and we are currently rolling out projects to include all product-related assets as well. Moreover, Bynder is making it possible to easily distribute these assets to downstream target components such as our ecommerce system, website and other components.
Very thorough onboarding process
What do you like best about the product?
How there are many ways to organize and search for specific assets. Additionally, the upload process is quite intuitive and easy to customize as well as the homepage. Collections is probably the most valuable to me and my team, specifically for sharing externally and organizing a smaller group of media files.
The customer support has been top tier from sales all the way to our implementation specialist (and soon to be customer success manager). We have asked a lot of Nick speceifically and he has been extremely helpful to work with and knowledgeable about the product.

What do you dislike about the product?
For our team, the biggest hurdle has been navigating the Adobe CC. The process for uploading working files is quite manual and not easy to navigate. I realize this may be because we are using the connector incorrectly or because we are so new to the platform, but this seems like more work for our design team to figure out than it should be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Duplication of assets, struggling to determine naming conventions for files, unsure where to go to grab an asset, and streamlining platforms. This benefits our organization because there were many tools we were using to store assets and people were getting confused on where to look or even who to ask.
Informative and comprehensive experience
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to create collections and the tagging seems very comprehensive.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are still a little unsure how the design team will package working files in Bynder and access them to continue their work with ease.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Securing our image library
Implementing Digital Asset Management with Ease
What do you like best about the product?
The depth of options, ease of interface, prompt and friendly client service.
What do you dislike about the product?
The depth of options - but only because I am still learning and becoming familair.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is providing us with a one stop resource to store, organize and distribute all of our digital assets.
Great onboarding experience
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use interface that is intuitive and clean
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning curve if you are used to a folder based file server
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consolidating our asset distribution process
A great tool to optimize asset sharing and management
What do you like best about the product?
It's a single home to access the 10s of thousands of documents our company manages, and when we need to update something, we can easily update it in one place that that is reflected through the 4 different websites our company manages, as well as internal use. The Onboarding Team, Adam and Carina, were extremely patient and knowlegable with teaching us how best to use the tool. They even helped create several unique solutions to meet our customized needs. The onboarding and implementation of this software has been a delight, working with them and seeing immediate benefits for our company.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, Bynder says that it integrates with Drupal as a website asset management tool, and while this is technically true, it's integration is shockingly limited. You currently can only use 1 Bynder asset per Drupal web page/post, and even then, you cannot embed your asset in-line, only at the foot of your post. This may work fine for somebody using it for "blog" website, however, it is not even remotely acceptable for use on a product website.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We currently have 4 websites that all drew assets from separate buckets/locations. When an asset needed to be updated, we had to update that asset 4 times, in 4 different locations. Now we can update the asset in one location and the change reflects across all 4 websites immediately. Additionally, we're less worried about employees hanging on to old versions of assets, and now they can always have quick/easy access to the lastest and most up to date versions.
