Great onboarding experience for a DAM that solves a lot of pain paints
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder solves a lot of pain points we were experiencing from using Google Drive to manage assets. Love the ability to manage version history easily, control what groups have access to what assets, and what user experience someone has based on their group. Great homepage display with the ability to feature new assets, link to collections or even external pages. Robut onboarding process was incredibly helpful and it's easy to feel empowered as an admin to design something that works for your team. Developing a custom taxonomy takes work, but is worth it to be able to categorize assets with your internal vocabulary, making storing, organizing, and searching for assets so much easier. Excited to have visibility into downloads and views, and to be able to share assets externally with non-Bynder users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Bynder can't replace a platform like Clearslide for sales decks and doesn't have the ability to have micro DAMs (personalized folders) with custom assets per person or per team. That would be an advantage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Digital asset storage, oranganization, distribution, versioning, and analytics. We're able to feel confident that our team only has access to approved and most recent files, which was a challenge before. We now can see what assets are used frequently which will inform future content development.

easy and intuitive product with attentive onboarding experience
What do you like best about the product?
it has an incredibly simple/intuitive user interface which makes it easier for staff to adopt and use in their day to day lives.
What do you dislike about the product?
it would be great if the quick transfer function on the login screen could be used to send files to internal Bynder users (without having to be added/tagged in the DAM). Effectively a WeTransfer equivalent but without the added layer of needing admins to review/tag & upload - especially given how expensive admin accounts are (we only have 2 across our global business).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder has replaced our archaicic and terribly organised local drive - which often cannot be access by staff or difficulty in accesssing files.
Straightforward onboarding experience for an excellent product
What do you like best about the product?
The onboarding process was very clear, with flexibility to move at our own pace. The platform is also very intuitive to use, and I've been able to apply what I've learned in the onboarding process to customise our DAM to our needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
With some key features locked behind paid upgrades, we're not able to get the full use out of Bynder within our current annual budget. The ability to opt-in to a trial of these features (e.g. Brand Guidelines) may help us to make a case for an increased budget.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder allows us to collect all of our approved assets in one place, which will eventually enable our staff, collaborators and the press to download original assets straight from the source. It also allows us to track rights and expiry dates, which has been difficult to manage in the past.

What do you dislike about the product?
At present, Bynder does not have the capability to identify existing assets in the library. However, based on my understanding, this feature is expected to be available later this year, which is truly fantastic news.

What do you like best about the product?
Nicole has been an excellent trainer! Answers all questions and conerns, train us accordingly and does not overwhelm us with information. Julia Crawford was also a great helped when we needed additional add on in our subscription and made sure we get what we are looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not having an actual point of contact with Bynder. Understanding, that we can reach out to Success Square but, timing sometimes does not work in our favor. We would like to get an answer promptly when we run into road blocks as work on our side is quite heavy since we are a fast-growing company.

meta data properties and offering great search capabilities.
Solid tool with great support
What do you like best about the product?
As a DAM it's a tool that is neither too complex nor too simple. We've found it to be easy to adapt to our short and long term needs. Super intutive interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, so good. We are in the infancy of using the tool so haven't run into pain points yet. We had a couple things during on boarding and posted suggestions to Bynder Community to see if we can get them considered as long term enhancements, nothing major.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to build efficiencies in our workflow by quickly searching, accessing and reusing assets. We will no longer need to rely on remembering project numbers to find assets on a shared drive that has no search capabilites.

What do you like best about the product?
User friendly - Helps give work to other people rather than using up the creative teams recorces.

What do you dislike about the product?
The UI could be imporved. Feedback is that it is confusing to know where to start a design and where things sit. There are too many buttons and actions that seem to do the same thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting simple design work off our desk! Giving us more time to get into deep thought and better work.
A great tool for large companies that require templates on demand
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility around the design of your template.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface needs some work, as it can be confusing.

Giving more people within our firm the opportunity to create good designs using well designed templates that cant be broken.

What do you like best about the product?
Bynder has unlimited capabilities. The staff was excellent in explaining the product in regard to understanding what we needed.

There isn't anything I can say I dislike about Bynder.

Bynder is allowing us to have multiple entities uploading assets while keeping them separate based on visibility.

As a tool, Bynder is a powerful but easy-to-use DAM, with a host of flexible features. The Guidelines module is a fantastic way to integrate and share information.
What do you dislike about the product?
The out-of-the-box UI experience can be a bit barebones and confusing without customization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main aspect of the project that I'm involved in is creating a unified place for internal teams to access development art assets and story information.
