Great user friendly system
What do you like best about the product?
We’re impressed with how user-friendly Bynder is; it’s incredibly accessible, making it easy for everyone on our team to use. The intuitive search function lets us find assets quickly, which streamlines our workflow. We also really like the Bynder Express file-sharing feature, which makes sharing collections with others quickly and efficiently. Overall, the team really enjoys using Bynder—it’s a powerful tool that has enhanced our productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
We’ve noticed that Bynder’s site speed can be quite slow for users in New Zealand and Australia, which occasionally hinders productivity and can be a bit frustrating. Additionally, the print brand templates feature could benefit from an update; currently, it sends an email alert to all users every time a new job is created, leading to unnecessary notifications and some user complaints. Enhancing these areas would greatly improve our experience and make Bynder an even more effective tool for our team!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder has been a game-changer in consolidating our files, which were previously scattered across multiple sites, hard drives, and applications. With Bynder, we now have a centralised, single source of truth. This platform makes it easy to connect our assets with our sales team, enabling quick access to the resources they need.
Convenient, and accessibe
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder presents assets in ways that are easier to sort/filter than traditional folders. The layout helps users on my team find what they need quickly. It also makes sharing assets with outside parties simple. Create collections and share a link to view or download. No more file transfers. We use it simply as a DAM without many of the other features, and it works well for our needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The automatic resizing and studio features were oversold to us and are not as practical as we would hope. We wanted to be able to download specificly sized assets for different uses, but in order to have this functionality, every single assets (upon upload) would be multiplied into however many size variations we wanted. This instantly multiplied the amount of storage needed and made it no longer cost effective. The cost in general for the software is steep. It's been worth it so far but it's a lot to stomach for an independent brand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All internal team members have access to our assets and can find what they need so we do not need to spend the time on our creative team searching and sharing the files people are looking for.
Helpful components for searching and locating creative assets
What do you like best about the product?
The metadata tags that enable granular filters for searching for creative are extremely helfpul for 1. finding inspirtaion 2. research 3. finding your team's creative!
What do you dislike about the product?
Uploading content can be very tedious and time consuming. Slightly clicking the wrong area will send you back the beginning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storing all creative after delivering, enables all team members to access, collections allow for organization and comms.

Bynder is a very broad tool with mutiple possibilities that asks for a dedicated team of experts to use the tool for the fullest
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder helps us to be scalable is all we do
Heavy Bynder User- creative uploading, metaproperty management, brand guidelines admin
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder is user friendly, organized, and supports a great variety of file types/assets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of better AI features, User-Specific Collections, and has a difficult time working with our server (I recognize that this is not soley a Bynder issue)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder has been able to keep all of our delivered files organized and in one place.
A very friendly platform for asset management
What do you like best about the product?

Have been able to manage and include several users with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes is slow on downloads, and it will be good to set an alert when an asset is duplicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The organization of assets to distribute among associate partners and as an image bank.
Overall, it's a great tool for how we use it internally and with select Partners.
What do you like best about the product?
It's an easy way for our Marketing team to disseminate current branded materials, product photography, product launch guides, customer images and stories, etc. I recently updated the taxonomy to hopefully improve search results. And being able to host links to public collections to our select Partner channels has been really valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that as the main admin of our instance that I had more control over Collections created by anyone with access. We now have to share all collections across the marketing team to help prevent duplicates, be able to all contribute to a collection. As an admin, I find it rediculous that I am unable to see or delete collections that are no longer in use unless I created it or it has been shared with editing rights. We now have a bunch of collections that i can't remove or merge because of this. Also, it would be great if on the asset level we can see what collections that asset belongs to. Right now, we would have to click on each collection to see what ones an asset is in and then remove it manually for each one. It should be something we can see and control from an asset level. This visibility will also help confirm that there are no duplicate assets because someone can't see that it's in a different collection. Also, having a better way of organizing assets WITHIN a collection would be great....like a folderized capability within a collection....or be able to have collections within a collection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Internally, it's a way for Marketing to disseminate branded content, logos, document and presentation templates for our Sales, Product Management, and Executive teams. Externally, we use public collection links that are hosted on our Partner Portal for our Partners to download logos, product photography, and other marketing content and product materials so that they can promote our products to their end users. We also use it to have our booth vendor and graphic designer have access to high res images for graphics and content projects.
Bynder the DAM that gets it done
What do you like best about the product?
The people behind the brand & technology. Always good support and asking the right questions. Great overall product that meets our needs, and surpasses them in some cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI related to administration of Metadata and other back end updates. Simple smaller topics that ideally would be fixed such as sign up form attribute for Country is a FREE TEXT field.. Lastly would also like to see more development on the Guidelines functionality & integrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Distribution of information and assets to internal and external users. Collections and curation of assets as well.
White Glove Onboarding and Easy to Use DAM
What do you like best about the product?
The DAM is great to pull teams from managing assets in folders within folders within folders. It is easy to use, manage, and searching for assets saves time and energy. Their white glove onboarding was important in getting the taxonomy and organization set up for success.
What do you dislike about the product?
The additional costs for new AI tools and capabilities seems a bit too much and should have just been included in the main DAM package.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to save time and money across the company due to the ease of finding assets and sharing assets externally with agencies and partners.
Nice hub for all creative assets
What do you like best about the product?
One central place for assets with ability to filter and search for needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an option to exclude certain taxonomy items from your filters. I also wish there was more options for usage tracking/notes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized place for assets.
