A Game-Changer for Asset Management
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful feature is how it streamlines collaboration-whether it's marketing, creative, or rep groups, everyone has quick access without wasting time searching or recreating assets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Bynder is a very strong platform, so there isn't much that feels "least helpful". If I had to choose, I'd say some of the more advanced customization options take time to fully learn. That said, once you're familiar, they become powerful and flexible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder solves our biggest challenges with asset management by eliminating verion confusion, saving time searching for files, and ensuring brand consistency. Its centralized library and automation tools streamline workflows and give us confidence that teams always use the right assets.

A User-Friendly DAM with Powerful Features – and Some Frustrating Gaps
What do you like best about the product?
1) Advanced taxonomy and approval workflows: The platform shines in organizing digital assets through flexible taxonomy options and robust approval queues. This structure ensures order, consistency, and better governance over uploaded content.
2) Intuitive interface and usability: Bynder offers a smooth and user-friendly interface that requires little training. However, some recent changes have made it less intuitive — e.g. the central menu overlapping with images (see example in the screenshot attached).
3) Strong AI-powered search: The integrated AI search engine is a real highlight, making it fast and effective to locate assets even in large, complex libraries. This saves time and significantly boosts productivity.
4) Wide integration possibilities (with caveats): Bynder provides connectors and a marketplace to link with various third-party systems, from stock image providers to cloud storage. While valuable, these integrations often come with practical limitations.

What do you dislike about the product?
1) Onboarding could be better: The onboarding process feels too generic and not always aligned with a customer’s specific goals. External partners involved sometimes lack deep expertise in the platform’s advanced technical options.
2) Integrations are unclear and often paid: Many integrations either require additional payment or lack transparency in how they actually function. When issues arise, support often shifts responsibility to external partners, leaving users in a frustrating gray area.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder helps centralize and organize all digital assets in one place, making them easier to find, manage, and share securely. The AI-powered search and advanced taxonomy save a lot of time that used to be wasted recreating or looking for files. It also provides strong governance with approval workflows and rights management.
The main benefit is efficiency: everything is faster and more structured. However, the real value comes when you invest time in learning the platform yourself. If used autonomously, it’s a very powerful tool that can streamline processes and improve collaboration. Support and onboarding tend to be more focused on speed than customization, so I’ve found it better not to rely too heavily on them.

Bynder has been very helpful for our organization to sort our assets and access them easily.
What do you like best about the product?
Its search functionality. It makes assets accessible very easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
The segregation of the assets. It is a bit complicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it is easing ur process of finding the right assets at right place to the audience.
Bynder coupled with Gournay connector is a win
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder coupled with Gournay connector to Salsify has been a game changer for us.
We are much more efficient at getting new images approved and attached to products in our PIM. Bynder has been an amazing assist in communications with Vendors who provide our images. The Waiting Room needs some search improvements but we have defined work arounds and Bynder has documented our VOC issues. Now that we are about to deploy our SFCC connection to look directly at Bynder for images to display in our storefront - we have greatly improved our sku creation to storefront timeline.
We can now search and find images easily and trace their usage. The sharing of property data between Bynder and Salsify via Gournay's connector has given us a window that Bynder alone could not give us. I would not recommend having a Bynder/Salsify connection without Gournay. They have been awesome in this endeavor.

What do you dislike about the product?
The conversion was definitely not seamless. Gournay stepped in to help migrate our 70K plus images from Salsify but Bynder stepped out at that moment and we have struggled to get assistance with things like data extraction/reports for validation of migrated data and adjustments to the required fields based on user. There does not appear to be a window into the data - some elements you can search by to bring the Assets up in the UI - but when your life is data validation -Bynder has nothing to assist - no reports/no shortcuts. We did eventually get a large data dump into Excel but that quickly went stale. Overall, despite the need for Bynder to do some evolving for data validation, it has been a win for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A searchable master source for all images giving us the ability to locate/associate/archive. Prior to Bynder images were seriously copied and stored in multiple places. No real master source of truth.
Fantastic and robust DAM
What do you like best about the product?
The robust feature set really streamlines a lot of our workflows. Particualrly with features such as the new natural langage search with their AI plug in, users can find and manage content increadibly quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The onboarding process can be a little cumbersome due to the incredibly broad range of features which can mean it is slightly unintuitive for some users.
Customisation could be improved to allow a little more flexibility for niche use cases.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an agency we have an incredibly large volume of assets generated from various projects that need to be accessed quickly and easily through a get many channels such as channel, type, location, client and so on which Bynder easily supports.
Robust yet intuitive DAM
What do you like best about the product?
The search and filtering options make finding assets easy - given the taxonomy and meta data input is done carefully. Creating and sharing collections is also very handy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The studio module did not fit our organization's needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing thousands of individual marketing assets including images and videos is easier. Having the brand guidelines live on the site and being easy to update ensures everyone has access to relevant guidelines.
Bynder is constantly updating their products, meeting clients' needs and giving helpful resources.
What do you like best about the product?
Resources
Constant updates and new technology (integrations, AI)
Listening to clients' needs

What do you dislike about the product?
Support service seems overwhelmed and tickets are taking too long to be resolved, with no transparency as to when the ticket will be looked at.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Single source of acquiring assets and guidelines in an international organisation with many agencies involved across the globe thus helping in achieving consistency of our brand use. Moreover, since all colleagues are aware of our Brand Hub (the Bynder DAM) they are also aware of who to contact within the organisation for creation of assets, thus helping us as a global Brand Team to have contact with colleagues around the world for their needs.
Great success
What do you like best about the product?
The whole Bynder team - from our initial discussion about the product offerings through their implementation and onboarding - was so pleasant to work with and provided great support along the way.
What do you dislike about the product?
I see that it takes my team a while to get comfortable with the platform and a familiarity of use. This is something that I know will be resolved as they continue to use the system on a regular basis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder is helping to streamline our asset organization and increase search optimization for our team. We are heavy content users so having a system like Bynder has helped create a better system for organization and use.
DAM Good Product
What do you like best about the product?
Our organization uses Bynder as a national asset bank that allows our employees, volunteers, and partners to access the assets for various campaigns or resources that help promote our work. It is a one-stop shop for our users and is a beneficial resource for various user groups.
What do you dislike about the product?
We use the Studio module and find that one struggle is that the video output is not best for social media. However, the frame rate is not what is needed for sharing videos with media outlets in the United States.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customization of assets is key for us. With nearly 7,000 locations around the U.S., it is imperative that our teams can localize content specific to their community while keeping the content brand standard and consistent.
