Bynder has been a great success story for our organisation in the management photos and brands.
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use for a large number of staff with various skill levels. One stop shop for photos and brand management. Ongoing support is fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
We do not dislike anything at this stage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder has enabled staff to be confident in storing and selecting images for use in a wide range of products.
Bynder is user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Bynder is fairly intuative compared to other DAMs that I've worked with. Customer support is prompt and attentive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be a little glitchy. I wish I could navigate it more using my keyboard and quickkeys
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder gives our team in LA, NY and The EU equal access and we can see in realtime what everyone is diong.
Great collaboration from start to finish!
What do you like best about the product?
The entire collaboration has been great. From the start with Merel until the onboarding process with Anna and William. I really liked the communication and weekly updates. Step by step, we were guided through the software and Anna and William were always available for questions. Mavenlink is an awesome solution. Simple, but effective!
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult question. I cannot come up with anything that I really disliked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Endless searching for the correct file or picture is in the past now. We are much more efficient within our marketing department. With Bynder we have become much more critical in the assets that we upload and make available for our marketing campaigns.
Not sure how we ran our business without Bynder before
What do you like best about the product?
It's extremely user friendly; self-serve but still very robust and integrates with all the core tools we already use; from CMS to CRM and our creative design tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our company hasn't gone "all in" yet, so we're missing some of the features that their other modules offer (brand guidelines, brand templating for scaling content creation). But I think we'll be expanding shortly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a robust repository to simply find what content we have produced in the past has already made huge difference for us. But there's more, versioning allows us to still view the old versions of a certain document, so nothing gets lost and it ensures we're always using the latest and greatest.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy having all of our assets, upcoming jobs, and communications in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is too early in the process for me to say that I dislike something, but I do find the manner of which jobs are created for campaigns to be clunky.

Asset storage and communication through project management
Bynder is a good tool for teams to stay organized
What do you like best about the product?
The easy-to-use workflow collects our team's comments and lets everyone know the status of our projects. Comparing versions of projects helps us review more efficiently. We also needed a central location to store our many assets. Bynder's filtering system allows us to stay organized. I also like that we can create collections to share with others. We have many assets that need to be accessed by the same group of people, and previously it was difficult for them to find what they needed. Bynder will also allow us to drop other programs we were using to share assets and streamline our overall workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be wonderful to be able to review HTML emails within the Bynder workflow. We can only upload PDFs of emails but still have to have users test links outside of Bynder. It would also be useful to be able to customize the approver situation a bit. As of now, if any one person in an approver group marks the project as approved, the project moves to the next stage. It would work for us better if we could have the project only move to the next stage after a few select approvers mark it as approved. We've created a workaround for it, so it's not critical, but it would be nice to have situations where we need the approval of multiple people accommodated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We previously had trouble keeping track of our team's comments and edits. When reviewing through email, people would often miss comments or end up commenting on old versions. Bynder keeps everyone in sync. We are also able to consolidate the number of outside programs we're using for product management. Before, we had a lot of different programs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great platform for teams. The filtering system is also a clean way to organize assets.
Beyond Bank Bynder Onboarding
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder was a digital asset management platform that we saw as the solution to our issue. It has proved that it will be very valuable for the Marketing team as well as the business overall when it comes to managing, requesting, approving, and downloading assets.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to edit assets ourselves, like a design sort of functionality like Canva would be amazing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Digital asset management, tagging assets so they can easily be found with ease.
Fantastic asset management tool.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, very intuitive and everything just makes sense.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not great for marking up text-heavy PDFs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A central location to store and manage assets. The workflow system for briefing in designers through to the asset being stored in Bynder is easy to setup and easier to use.
Fast-paced and to-the-point onboarding!
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder gave us the best of both worlds regarding Digital Asset Management and Digital Asset Creation (Workflow). Our team needed one tool that could check both boxes, and Bynder exceeded expectations on both.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one drawback with Bynder so far is that we cannot push assets with overlays like sale or promotion ribbons without altering the main item and then having to go back and change them all once the sale or promo is over. It's a standard feature among DAM solutions, and I'm hopeful that Bynder picks this up on their roadmap.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company needed to centralize all of our digital assets. We were not organized and had little to no governance over what was being delivered to our customers. A benefit beyond this is that we will replace dropbox with Bynder's file-sharing widget on our homepage. This will keep Bynder top of mind for less engaged users since they'll be accessing the portal when sharing documents.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My advice to professionals considering Bynder would be to clearly define the problem you're trying to solve internally with your digital content. Collect, cleanse and organize everything before you start looking for platforms. It will make the list of solutions shorter from the beginning and will make your eventual onboarding with Bynder easier.

Bynder's going to be very helpful when storing assets. I work a lot with influencer collaborations, so I'm excited to try out the waiting room instead of using WeTransfer.
What do you dislike about the product?
The weekly onboarding meetings were helpful, although sometimes caused confusion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder's helping us navigate our assets while saving us a lot of time!
