Bynder
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of searching, the AI search capabilities, integration with our other software. The migration was smooth and the customer support we received from Christina and Rachel was top notch.
What do you dislike about the product?
The upload process can feel a bit clunky at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping usher in new storage and search possibilities that we were missing with our old DAM.
The transition and Migration from Webdam and Bynder was made seamless by Rachel & Christina.
What do you like best about the product?
The integrations are some of the biggest things I am excited about. Figma, SFCC & Asana. The amount of customizability on almost all things is a great perk as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the steps for the admin piece in taxonomy and look and feel is a bit challenging to get used to. However I am unsure how you make that piece easier to understand?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of use on disseminating imagery as well as ingesting imagery from external vendors. Integrations through other platforms will help create ease for our current processes.
Bynder onboarding/migration
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Bynder is its ease of use for end users, the flexibility to customize the homepage, and the smooth onboarding experience.
With the guidance of Melissa M. our onboarding manager, my team was able to cut our onboarding timeline in half — from 8 weeks down to just 4. This allowed us to meet our company-wide launch date and successfully migrate thousands of assets from our previous DAM.

What do you dislike about the product?
Certain features such as Public group collections have yet to be integrated. Would love to see that happen in the near future to help organize Collections more efficiently for external users

What do you like best about the product?
Our team needed a solution to centrally organize all our assets—photos, videos, design files, and documents—so we weren't wasting time searching across different shared drives. Bynder has been the perfect solution for us.
We especially love the AI search functionality and tagging features, which have made it incredibly easy for everyone to find what they need. Now, we can quickly locate the right brand assets and use them for marketing campaigns without any hassle. The DAM integration with our creative tools has also streamlined our workflow significantly. Bynder has truly helped us save time and stay organized.

At this time and as a new user, there's nothing I have found that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Now it takes us less than a minute to find the right photo for our website or a social media post, instead of digging through multiple folders on different shared drive.

It is a friendly platform, itis very easy and intuitive to use. Another point is the support & attention for any kind of comments.

Tracking all the status and process about the assets and be more agile with the feedback and response to all the teams.
Bynder Onboarding Experience
What do you like best about the product?
The portal is much more intuitive and user-friendly, making it significantly easier to navigate, search and upload assets. It has also improved the experience for our external partners, who can now quickly access and download the content they need.

What do you dislike about the product?
Even though it suggests you can upload 250 assets at a time, I found this wasn't the case. Which meant it took me longer to upload all of our existing assets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Even though Bynder doesn't work in a folder structure, the search function and automated AI tags have been really helpful when searching for something specific. Bynder has hugely helped with our external agencies, having their own landing page has been hugely successful. Sometime in the near future, we will have ready made templates in studio, this will benefit the company massively, making it easier for staff to create their own assets without going off brand.

The only downside I can think of off the top of my head is the limited number of seats.

Bynder is helping us organize our assets into one place.
Bynder solves the HUGE pain point of locating and using assets - and so much more!
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder solves the HUGE pain point of locating and using assets. Previously we had folders within folders within folders, and unless you knew the specific folder chain sequence, finding assets like photos was a long and frustrating process. Not only does Bynder have a tagging system in place, but it goes above and beyond for our specific needs such as being able to add doctor names, including face recognition so we can easily search and find EVERY assets with a specific doctor. This also extends to specialty type, hospital location, date, usage rights, and so much more. Plus, as designers, we're able to integrate Bynder with the Adobe Suite programs which creates a seamless workflow and easily allows us to pull assets from Bynder directly into our project. Bynder doesn't just organize your assets, it creates multiple pathways for anyone to search and find what they need based on the categories you set tailored to your business needs. They have an onboarding system that sets you up for success, and Malik was incredibly helpful in getting us ready for the integration with Bynder and made the process smooth, informative, and easy to follow. If you're considering Bynder as your digital asset management system, I say look no further. They've got you.
What do you dislike about the product?
The most challenging part about Bynder is the amount of time needed to integrate all our assets (we have A LOT). This is expected for any digital asset management system, though, and our time is divided between Bynder set-up and our regular workload. There's also still developments needed for video needs, as the facial recognition feature doesn't apply to video, and some of the long 4K files take a while to upload. There is a workaround to this via their mass uploader option, and shorter 4K files upload well the regular way. That said, they do have transcripts for video needs, so if a doctor says their name and title on camera, the transcript will pick that up. As a videographer myself, I still went for using Bynder and am very happy overall with its capabilities.

Bynder is solving the pain point of locating and using assets, tagging doctors, searching for specific photos, and centralizing all assets in a way that's easy to find and use.

Bynder has been our partner for over a year now, and I can confidently say they’ve brought valuable experience and efficiency to our team. They’ve helped us improve workflows and strengthen collaboration with our partners. The feedback we’ve received has been very positive, and we look forward to continuing to grow and scale together. The future looks bright!

Bynder has provided support every step of the way, and we’ve never felt like we were going through the process alone. At times, we face challenges due to the high level of customization our team requires, but knowing how demanding we can be, I would say Bynder has consistently risen to the occasion—tackling challenges and delivering solutions with a positive approach.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder has solved the challenge of having assets scattered across different tools and folder-based systems. Now, we manage everything through a single source of truth and a central resource, which has greatly improved both quality and security. Distributing content across different regions has never been easier for our team.
