Versatile Tool with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the Notion desktop app for its ease of use, which integrates smoothly into my daily workflow and allows for seamless documentation sharing and action tracking. The configurability of Notion also stands out to me, as it adapts effortlessly to my preferred way of working, thus enhancing our team's collaboration on working documents and projects as our business scales. The platform's ability to ensure information is shared and documented correctly is invaluable to our growing operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that Notion is a bit too easy to edit, which can lead to accidental deletions due to excessive clicking. The permission settings also need improvement, as they currently don't allow for differentiation between full edit access and more limited types of edits. Additionally, the initial setup experience was not user-friendly, posing challenges in getting everything started smoothly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for documentation sharing and action tracking, which helps ensure correct information distribution and improves collaboration on working documents and projects.
Customizable, Multi-Utility Organizer with Room for Speed Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion to keep both my work and personal life organized, handling everything from gym workouts to daily plans effortlessly. I love that with Notion, I can manage planning projects, taking notes, tracking tasks, and saving important information, all in a single place. This feature helps me stay structured and makes it easy to locate what I need without hassle. I really appreciate how Notion prevents my life from being scattered by consolidating notes, tasks, ideas, and plans into one easily accessible spot. The ability to switch from using multiple apps to Notion for important daily tasks brings about remarkable efficiency. Another aspect I adore is how customizable Notion is; I can build anything I need—be it notes, trackers, or planners—and the integration among these elements is seamless, effectively decluttering my mind. Additionally, Notion perfectly complements other tools I use, such as Google Drive and Slack, keeping files, communications, and notes interconnected and synchronized.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Notion can get slow when dealing with large pages, which can be frustrating when accessing detailed documents or complex layouts. Additionally, the mobile app could be more efficient. It doesn't offer the same seamless experience as the desktop version, which can be inconvenient for managing tasks or accessing information on the go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize my work and personal life, consolidating notes, tasks, and plans to prevent scatter. It stops the need to switch between apps, provides a customizable planning tool, and integrates with Google Drive and Slack.
A Helpful, Flexible Platform for QA Documentation
What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Notion is its remarkable flexibility, allowing me to organize everything I need—whether it's documents, tasks, notes, or test cases—all in a single place. The ability to link databases and switch between different views really streamlines tracking my QA work, so I don't have to constantly switch between different tools. On top of that, the clean and intuitive interface makes working in Notion a seamless experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
As databases grow larger, Notion tends to become sluggish, particularly when filtering or making updates. The offline support also leaves much to be desired, which can be frustrating if your internet connection is unreliable. Additionally, while Notion’s high level of customization is a strength, it can also mean that setting up everything correctly—especially for more complex QA workflows—often takes longer than anticipated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps consolidate information that would otherwise be scattered across multiple tools. As a QA tester, I use it to organize test documentation, track issues, maintain knowledge bases, and collaborate with product and development teams. Its databases and custom views reduce manual effort and make it easier to maintain structured test cases and release notes. Having everything in one centralized workspace improves transparency, reduces miscommunication, and helps teams stay aligned throughout development cycles.

Enhances Project Management, But Steep Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Notion for making it easy to communicate with my virtual assistant, ensuring we always know where we stand on each project. It facilitates staying on the same page, which is crucial for effectively managing our real estate projects. This greatly simplifies project management for us, allowing us to keep track and stay organized. Notion's ability to include a living document in our project management files was a major factor that prompted us to switch from our former project manager, Asana. Once I set it up, I love how it functions according to my preferences, and I've been able to customize it by watching many tutorial videos. The platform's capacity to integrate tasks, communications, and progress in such a seamless way is impressive and supports our operational efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm still new to Notion, and the setup is a bit complex. Setting up project management for each project was not easy, and it took some time to figure out how to get it set up. There's a significant learning curve since Notion can do a lot, requiring me to watch many videos to understand how to configure it the way I want it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize my projects and communicate with my virtual assistant, making it easy to track our progress and stay aligned.
Streamlines Note-Taking with Ease, Minor Improvements Needed
What do you like best about the product?
I find Notion incredibly easy to use, with its simple interface allowing me to get up and running with just a click of a button. I love how it effectively saves me time by efficiently recording and transcribing notes during meetings, ensuring I don’t miss any details when reviewing later. The accuracy of the notes is particularly valuable to me, as it captures what I might overlook. Its integration with Microsoft Teams makes my workflow smoother, enhancing overall productivity. The initial setup of Notion was seamless and straightforward, making it accessible without any hassle or extensive setup process. It's clear that Notion's capability to streamline tasks and improve meeting efficiency is impressive, earning my high recommendation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the notes miss the overall objective and don't notate some of the bigger elements discussed in meetings. There have been instances where discussions about minor changes were captured, but significant, recurring topics were overlooked in the meeting notes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Notion saves time by accurately transcribing meeting notes, ensuring I capture key details even when missed during meetings.

My go-to tool for organizing work across teams
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is flexible without feeling complicated. I can build pages, tables, and simple systems that match how I think and work. It is easy to reorganize information, link related docs, and keep everything accessible to the team. The interface is clean, and it scales well as projects grow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Large pages with heavy databases can feel slow at times. Search could also surface results more predictably. These are small issues in the bigger picture.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion gives me one place to organize projects, plans, and documentation instead of spreading everything across different tools. It helps keep information consistent, makes collaboration easier, and cuts down on time spent searching for the latest version of something. It also adapts well as priorities shift, which makes it useful for both quick planning and long-term structure.
