Exceptional Visual Consistency for a Unified Internal Wiki with Notion
What do you like best about the product?
Notion provides exceptional visual consistency. Unlike fragmented tools where every dashboard looks different, Notion's block-based system allows us to create a unified "Brand Language" for our internal wiki that is both aesthetic and functional.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the desktop app is a10/10, the mobile experience needs improvement, especially for complex Kanban boards of multi-column layouts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Notion to solve "Tool Fatigue". Before Notion, our SOPs were in Google Docs, our tasks were in Asana, and our product roadmap was in a spreadsheet.
Centralized Dashboards, Easy Setup, But Lacks in Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like the user interface of Notion and how easy it is to embed links from other platforms. The integrations between different tools are great; we were able to create a landing page from a Notion project. It keeps information organized and centralized, so we don't need to bounce between Google Drive links. The initial setup was really easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
We moved away from Notion for our project management capabilities, I think it could be stronger in that aspect. We can assign roles and set dates for tasks, but it isn't like another tool like Monday or Asana that shows all the outstanding tasks you have to work on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion keeps information organized and centralized, eliminating the need to bounce between Google Drive links.
Flexible Workspace that Centralizes and Streamlines
What do you like best about the product?
I like how flexible Notion is. We can customize pages and build databases for candidate tracking, create templates for interviews, and make necessary adjustments as our process evolves. It feels like a tool that adapts to how we work, instead of forcing us into a fixed structure. The customization stands out for me the most; we can build databases, create reusable templates, and organize information exactly the way we need it. The drag-and-drop layout and the ability to link pages together make everything feel connected and easy to manage.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Notion can feel overwhelming, especially for new team members because there are so many customization options. It can also slow down when pages get too heavy with databases and embeds. A more structured onboarding guide and stronger offline functionality could make it even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves our organization problems by consolidating files, notes, and trackers into one central hub. It keeps our hiring process structured and makes collaboration easier, helping our team stay aligned without relying on endless emails or multiple folders.
Jira and Confluence for the rest of us.
What do you like best about the product?
Incredibly simple yet powerful way to organize everything. The AI integration is a standout feature and the ability to manage on the go makes it seamless. Team management is also refreshingly easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Voice mode stops transcribing when WiFi is interrupted, which feels like a bug. The AI can also be inconsistent – sometimes it moves content between teamspaces, other times it can’t. Paying per person for Notion AI also feels steep even if it makes financial sense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion makes true organization actually achievable. Google Drive technically can do it but feels clunky in practice. Notion is essentially Jira and Confluence combined but built for everyone, not just enterprise teams.
Top-Notch Databases and Collaboration in a Flexible Workspace
What do you like best about the product?
Notion's database capabilities and collaborative features are top-notch. It allows our team to centralize all documentation and project tracking in one highly flexible and customizable workspace.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile performance can be quite sluggish at times, especially when loading complex pages with multiple databases. It would be great to see more optimization for smoother usage on the go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves the problem of information fragmentation by bringing our notes, tasks, and documentation into a single searchable source of truth. This has significantly improved our team's alignment and reduced the time spent looking for information.
Highly customizable and easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is my favorite organization tool, I love how customizable it is, it makes my workspace look nice, and I can easily access information about my clients, courses, and projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like it to be able to connect directly with Google Calendar to better organize my tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me keep all my spaces organized and nice, I usually use it to leave the information of all my personal projects as a freelancer.
Incredible Flexibility and Efficiency in Notion
What do you like best about the product?
I love the flexibility of Notion and its block architecture, which allows storing many things using more structured and interrelated NoSQL and SQL concepts. This flexibility makes Notion very powerful and easy to apply in any context. The Markdown architecture greatly facilitates the organization and communication about projects with different people. Moreover, Notion managed to offer a free Plus plan for the incubator I supported in the city of Uatu, which was a pleasant surprise and the plan still works to this day. Notion has definitely not left me, it is an incredible system of which I am a big fan.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think creating a block with just an eye-catching number in Notion is complicated. I have to use a workaround in the charts to highlight an important number, like using a pie chart just for that. It would be good to improve this formatting. It would also be great if Notion had direct integrations with CRMs and ERPs to pull specific statistics without bringing in clutter. Additionally, I felt that the orchestration of workspaces can be confusing, especially when mentioning teams or assigning responsibilities in tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves all the issues of organizing my tasks, dates, deadlines, and documentation. It is very powerful and flexible, ideal for various contexts.
Notion Makes Creating and Keeping Documentation Up to Date Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easily I can create complete documentation and how convenient it is to keep my document database always up-to-date. The main positive aspect of Notion, in my opinion, is its intuitive design focused on user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
A significant improvement regarding Notion is that the tool could offer greater integration with HubSpot. Integrating knowledge libraries for support, sales, and customer success teams directly into HubSpot would be very valuable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralization of documentation. File sharing and project management. Numerous teams use the tool and can take advantage of these features in their daily work. Notion is the leading internal tool for document management.
Seamless Organization with Incredible AI Assistance
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use of Notion, particularly the user interface and the AI assistant. It's absolutely amazing how they help cut down the time I spend on tasks significantly. The way things are organized and the ability to create pages within pages and tables make it seamless to navigate. The AI assistant is impressive when I prompt it well, as it just creates things for me. Also, the initial setup was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Love it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion as a database to keep my fitness coaching business organized, from content to numbers. It helps me organize ideas seamlessly and its AI cuts my time spent on tasks significantly.
Versatile Workspace, Ideal for Creative Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility of Notion in adding images, links, tables, and how convenient and creative it is to have everything in one place for presenting ideas to clients. These features allow me to be creative, making the board look nice and professional. Once I send it to clients, I can invite them to collaborate by adding notes, comments, tasks, etc. I love that I can combine so many features like project management, task-tracking, light CRM, documentation, and more, all in one place. For example, in one board, I can have the mood board, goals, timeline, budget tracking, tag people to collaborate with, and present it all to stakeholders in a neat page. Also, the initial setup was super easy; I had no prior experience and managed to figure things out by just poking around. I super love Notion, and they even call me the 'Notion ambassador' at work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I won't say it's not working well, but it would be amazing if there were more options for font style and colors. For anything super creative, I still have to go to Canva, so it would be great if I can just do this all in Notion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for task tracking, documentation, and client boards. It combines project management, task-tracking, light CRM, and documentation. I can organize projects, collaborate with stakeholders, and present everything in one neat page.
