Turbo charger Small business

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a creative person who doesn’t like software limitations, I love that notion let me build whatever I can think of. I find limitations on software to hinder usage, especially amongst small teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a person who runs their entire business on an iPad Pro, I do wish a little more development was put into the mobile apps and not just on desktop. Most of the people I use know that use notion are the mobile generation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves the problem of software overload. Before notion we used to have five or six different software is at $20 a month. I’ve all been combined into one now thanks to Notion.

Notion makes threat intelligence program set-up easy.

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion everyday from work to personal, and if there is ever an issue Notion is quick to help.

I love how simple Notion makes organizing team development. The ability to create separate workspaces for different teams is a huge plus. I also enjoy building databases and templates to streamline workflows. It’s easy to set up a threat intelligence team and create an internal sharing platform for an organization, giving guests access only to what they need, while keeping sensitive areas private.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features I wish Notion offered:
More robust form capabilities. For instance, being able to share a form with a guest that has a connected database would be extremely useful, especially for collecting IOCs or external inputs securely.

Stronger integrations with industry tools. Integrations with platforms like VirusTotal, Dehashed, OSINT Industries, and IBM X-Force Exchange would greatly enhance Notion’s utility for cybersecurity teams.

Cross-workspace database connectivity. If I create ticket trackers in separate guest workspaces, I’d like the option to centralize them into a single master database. Right now, there’s no native way to consolidate or let guests input tickets while viewing only their team’s submissions.

Improved Google Docs export. A smoother, more accurate export to Google Docs would be helpful for sharing reports and write-ups (same for PDF export, you never know where the page break will be).

More features for database analytics and visualization tools. Currently that area feels restrictive.

Native link analysis and graphing. A built-in feature similar to draw.io or Visio would be a game-changer for visualizing threat actor relationships and infrastructure mapping. Ideally, users could generate link analysis charts directly from a database. For example:
* Set a header row to define node attributes (e.g., name, type, tags).
* Define relationships using a dedicated column where users specify the related row and the type of relationship.
* Allow right-click or hover to expand a node and view additional context or metadata.
This would enable powerful visual mapping without leaving the Notion workspace—perfect for intelligence workflows, incident investigations, or entity mapping.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves the challenge of organizing team development and intelligence operations in one unified platform. It allows me to create dedicated workspaces for different teams, set up threat intelligence programs, and manage collaboration without needing multiple tools. Databases and templates help streamline repetitive tasks, and the ability to grant selective access means guests can view only what they need—protecting sensitive data while still enabling information sharing. This flexibility lets me build internal platforms for intelligence sharing, ticket tracking, and research collection efficiently and securely.

Makes My Life SO MUCH EASIER

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I live in Notion every single day! Notion AI makes my life so much easier. I write product documentation for our internal teams - both technical and non-technical users. I use the Notion AI to help me write that documentation by creating the draft document which I just have to review and polish which is such a leg up from starting every document from scratch. I also really love the flexibility of Notion. I have come to use Notion for everything and so far it has been able to meet all of those needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion doesn't seem to play well with Google Meet from a memory perspective. We use Google Meet frequently for internal meetings. Any time that I try to change views in Notion while I'm in Google meeting, whether I'm sharing my screen or not, I will frequently lock up my computer. The Google meet with continue with audio only but the video is unresponsive until I can restart the browser.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is our company's centralized documentation repository. The ability to search the Notion database and to use AI search has been extremely valuable for users who are unfamiliar with other department pages and don't know where to look to find information. We are also using Notion for collaborative documentation creation and go to market tracking

My Daily Hub for Getting Things Done

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Notion is how flexible it is. I can build exactly what I need without it feeling complicated. One day I’m tracking tasks in a simple list, and the next I’m using a board to manage a whole project. It adjusts to how my brain works, not the other way around. I also love that everything stays in one clean space—notes, goals, and plans—so I don’t waste time jumping between different apps. It just helps me stay organized and calm, even on busy days.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Notion is that it can feel a little slow sometimes, especially when I have a lot of pages or big databases open. It takes a second to load and that small delay can add up when I’m in the middle of a busy work session. Also, because it’s so flexible, it’s easy to go down a rabbit hole tweaking layouts instead of just getting things done. I had to learn to keep it simple or I’d spend more time building my workspace than actually using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is solving my biggest problem of having everything scattered across notebooks, apps, and random sticky notes. Now I have one place where I can plan, track, and review all my work without jumping around. It helps me stay focused on what matters most each day. I can see all my projects, deadlines, and ideas at a glance, which keeps me from feeling overwhelmed. Since using it, I spend less time trying to remember where things are and more time actually making progress. It’s helped me work smarter and feel more in control.

Organization and Idea Creation - Perfect for a Solopreneur

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the AI writing feature. From processing ideas through an AI-led brainstorm session to composing letters and blogs to organize my neurospicy ideas into a coherent pathway of understanding, Notion has been instrumental in growing and running my business. It is easy and very user intuitive to not only get started but also to implement and integrate into your daily, weekly, monthly, and annual planning and operations. I use it at the very least, weekly to plan, market, and organize not only my business, but my personal life. I have not yet had to utilize customer service because of the intuitiveness and usefulness of the program, but their e-mails with ideas and insights are very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a pen and paper girlie, the fact that it is virtual is the only downfall I have experienced so far. However, I can access it at work, at home, or on-the-go from my phone and tablet, which makes up for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability of the AI writing assistant to help me organize my ideas in project planning and blog writing has been so helpful. It's knowledge base for my field is expansive and extremely helpful. In addition to its knowledge base for marketing, which is not one of my strong suits. I love using it to brainstorm, plan, and manage various projects for my personal life as well as my business.

Notion AI is the GOAT

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Clean interface, easy way to write and read information, categorization, and the best of all is the AI feature. The ability to get information (within your workspace and beyond) with just a couple of sentences is just phenomenal.
What do you dislike about the product?
Barrier to entry is moderately high. It takes a while for a new person to understand what it is and how it works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem its solving for me is the ability to covert all my notes into projects that I can easily associate information, categorize, and track.

As a longtime user, I've built my Second Brain knowledge system in Notion.

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Structured flexibility transforms daily chaos into actionable intelligence.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion AI features, while good, can be difficult to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As someone who has spent decades advocating for thoughtful technology adoption in professional environments, I've found Notion's Knowledge Management tools to be exceptionally valuable for my daily workflow architecture.

My "Morning Launchpad" database shows how systems beat willpower every time. This structured approach tracks my daily priorities, appointments, and metrics (energy, sleep quality, system adherence) while maintaining a consistent morning sequence.

The most compelling aspect is how this knowledge system helps me combat what I call "priority drift" through explicit "Stop Doing" reminders that prevent reactive work patterns. By documenting completion rates of my top three priorities and capturing daily insights, I've created a feedback loop that continuously refines my professional effectiveness.

For those in knowledge-intensive fields, Notion transforms personal workflow documentation from a static journal into an adaptive knowledge management system. The ROI on this structured approach to daily planning has been substantial, both in terms of productivity gains and reduced decision fatigue.

My Morning Launchpad exemplifies what I've long advocated: thoughtful, systems-based approaches to knowledge work yield exponentially better results than brute force and throwing more time at problems.

Brilliantly versatile tool for creatives and teams alike

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion has become an essential part of my workflow in advertising. It’s incredibly versatile – whether I’m building campaign timelines, managing briefs, or jotting down creative ideas, everything lives in one place. The ability to create bespoke templates for different clients or projects has saved me loads of time. It's also a brilliant tool for collaboration – I can share pages with team members, leave comments, and keep everyone aligned without endless email chains or scattered documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one drawback is that it can be a bit overwhelming at first. With so many features and customisation options, it takes time to figure out how to get the most from it. But once it’s set up properly, it’s hard to imagine going back to anything else.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In advertising, there's a constant need to juggle timelines, briefs, assets, and stakeholder feedback – often across multiple campaigns. Notion helps consolidate everything into one centralised system, so nothing gets lost or buried in email threads. It's significantly improved our internal alignment and made briefing processes far smoother. Being able to create live documents that evolve with a campaign saves time and reduces confusion. The transparency it brings has been a real asset, especially when onboarding new team members or collaborating with clients.

Notion is amazing once you get the hang of it

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The interconnectivity within the platform. Being able to create projects and tasks and connect it back out to the wider picture. Changing views from lists to calendars to help visualise information and tasks is also fab.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be confusing to understand how things connect together. Creating sub tasks under one main task doesn't pull all the info across automatically so can sometimes lose things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Knowledge Base and AI chatbots are a huge timesaver and help collate information quickly.
Perfect for project management - housing all the clients in one place but able to customise each client set up to fit the project
