Overall Great Notetaking and Wiki App

  • November 11, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to get started, easy to organize your thoughts and ideas. Notion AI works amazing when there is so much wiki information about your company!
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to print docs. Things look off and too spaced apart when printing. Trying to figure out how to show the same data on different pages is pretty confusing. When I duplicate a page that has another page inside, it also duplicates that...which, when I didn't realize that was happening, it created a lot of versions of that one page. I also feel like the Title, Header 1, 2, and 3 text sizes are slightly too similar to one another. Would love a tad more differentiation. Permissions and sharing seem overly complicated and I've had multiple issues with people losing permission and not being able to figure out how to regrant it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Onboarding, currently. A place to gather ideas and organize systems.

Enhancing legal workflows with seamless integration and real-time collaboration

  • November 11, 2024
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

I am trying to make a program to improve the quality of my lawyer field. I put contacts and dates that we need to remember in Notion, focusing on the people we work with.

How has it helped my organization?

Integration with Notion allows me to manage documents from other tools like Google Drive and Trello without needing to open them separately. I can program emails to clients with Zapier, automating tasks like notifications about contract expiry.

What is most valuable?

It is easy to use and very intuitive compared to Microsoft Project. The collaboration in real-time is beneficial, and there is integration with various tools like Google Drive, Trello, Slack, and Zapier.

What needs improvement?

It can be difficult to contact the people at Notion. They don't provide a formal answer, just tutorials, so their customer service could be better.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Notion for about two months.

How are customer service and support?

Their customer service is not very helpful as they do not provide formal answers or support, just tutorials.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Neutral

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I have an experience to know how to use Microsoft Project. I don't use it frequently.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup is easy. On a scale of one to ten, it is a nine.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

For companies, it's a good price. For a single person or student, it might be a little expensive.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I am investigating other software to recommend for my company.

What other advice do I have?

I'd rate the solution eight out of ten.

Notion is great for keeping things from an Organization effectively in one place.

  • November 06, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion is fantastic for database & script management. Eases the workflow for entire organizations and has great storage options.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can get expensive for large organizations. Sometimes writing scripts can be difficult and is definitely for more advanced users in relation for task management & workflow. Also is missing proper payment & accounting functions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is a great knowledge base storage app that keeps our company data safe. Wouldn't choose any other app currently to do that effectivly.

What do you like best about the product?
An application that meets almost all options in a very useful way. Ideal for writing daily tasks. Integration between other apps are easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The application works slowly. It also has too many features to slow down the process of learning to use the application. It makes it difficult to adapt to the application at the beginning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeps my notes in order that want them to be.

"Flexible and Powerful, But Occasionally Laggy"

  • November 01, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Notion is its flexibility and versatility. It allows users to organize their work, thoughts, and projects in one customizable space. You can create databases, calendars, lists, Kanban boards, and link pages together, making building a system that fits your workflow easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like Notion's occasional lag and its limited offline functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves the problem of scattered information by combining note-taking, task management, and database functions in one app. This benefits users by centralizing work, making collaboration easier, and improving organization, which ultimately boosts productivity and streamlines workflows.
