Notion seems the best tool for Project /Product management but not for my knowledge base
What do you like best about the product?
The way to interact with your knowlege base then and there with AI is good feature. helps in creating summaries, TLDR versions.
What do you dislike about the product?
As the knowledge base grows, it becomes difficult to manage. Something like obsidian works in that case especially as it has MD files and can work offline and faster on mobile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At a high level, I have juggle between too many things at my workplace and personally too. I need a central area to manage things without getting lost into things. Plus, there are many smaller features which are great. As an example, the variety of kinds of blocks it gives me to handle different types of content. The page can be designed anyway which helps me browse things easily. Similary, pages and toggle lists keep my long research collapsed in groups for easy viewing, that I can expand when needed. So, I would say it helps me keep my things organized and view them those items in a dashboard format, which I can expand if required. Also managing projects with any types of grouping within Board view works very seamlessly and easily.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use is fantastic, once you get to know all the features to write a document, it becomes so easy to produce documents. Also, the organization is straighforward, if you have a clear struct, dragging and dropping is all you need. Sharing private docs is also super easy to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am using both Notion Business and my personal account, switching between my personal and the business is still something that could improve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a staff software engineer, so one of my main duties if to share knowledge or provide feedback on RFCs or degisn documents. By using notion it is easy to search across the whole company knowledge base and also it is so easy to design a beatiful document without much effort. Once you master the hotkeys and each use case, it feels so normal to build your document.

It's a single reference point detail product features and capabilities

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to link to just about anything. Easy referral to other pages. Ability to comment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not very scientifically geared, e.g. tables cannot perform simple calculations. Can't print a page directly without exporting and downloading. Bit of a learning curve when first setting up because of its flexibility in features. Attaching screenshots and moving things around in a page are a little clunky
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping physical lab notebooks are increasingly a thing of the past but other available electronic solutions can be clunky in terms of its collaborativeness. Notion helps project management by being able to easily link to other existing projects / pages. Ability to organize pages is unique. Being able to effectively search for protocols, reagents, etc in not only my notes but also in lab members' notes helps productivity and makes collaborative projects easier to log.
If you're looking for functionality, but don't care about attractiveness, Notion is for you!
What do you like best about the product?
Functionality. It's a great tool for providing SOPs and material in an easy/efficient manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion is not attractive to me. It's clean and effective, but doesn't give me instant spark to want to dive in because of the lack of 'wow'.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is solving an all in one place for "knowledge" to a large group of people. Before we had information scattered across different platforms i.e. google sites, slides, etc. but now we have it all in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how dynamic and fluid the platform is. The fact that it gives me the option to create a workstation from scratch or build from a template is amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I want to duplicate a database, it should give me the option of copying the skeleton of it and not allow duplication of data also. (or maybe I'm doing something wrong)

Notion helps me create and run live onboarding scorecards from a Sales Enablement perspective.

Nothing is great, maybe need more integration with AI
