Fantastic for Team Collaboration, Needs Better Mac App
What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion's user interface, collaboration features, and markdown capabilities. These features help me collaborate better with my team and make decisions more efficiently. Notion makes it easy to capture those decisions in a way that's simple to find later with its search function. I also appreciate how easy the initial setup was for my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Notion Mac app doesn't work very well, and the mobile app could be improved as well. But the browser version works fine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps us review decisions and document our system effectively, allowing collaboration in a user-friendly way. It boosts team collaboration, helps us make better and faster decisions, and makes capturing and finding decisions easy with its search function.
Efficient Document Management with Minor AI Hiccups
What do you like best about the product?
I like using Notion for housing data for my growth operating business, including client dashboards and saving things like SOPs. It helps me incorporate SOPs into making new documents, and I can quickly add pages and write new ones using old ones. I find the meeting notes really useful, especially because Notion allows me to add pages with the contents from that page, and meeting notes come with actionable tasks. The meeting notes feature is really easy to use, which I appreciate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the whole interface of researching using AI a bit challenging when I'm not working within a document. It also feels quite buggy and seems to go wrong a lot more than any other AI I've used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to incorporate SOPs into new documents quickly, helping me easily add and create pages using existing ones.
Personalized and Efficient Organization, But Lacks Improvements in Calculations
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to organize things in my own personalized way, attach and embed documents in Notion. I find user tagging and the inbox useful. With this, I can make clear who is responsible for each task, tagging them and automatically sending them emails notifying them of the tags. I prefer to organize myself through the inbox, which is essential for seeing my pending tasks or returning to a previous topic that I haven't bookmarked. Additionally, it was easy to set up Notion initially.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like calculations. I wish I could use this easily for tables with numbers like I do with Excel. I need to use complex formulas and in a different format than we are used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is great for documentation, calendars, and roadmaps. I can organize in a personalized way, attach documents, and tag users, making it easier to clarify responsibilities. The inbox helps me manage pending tasks, essential for not getting lost.
An All-in-One Platform That Boosts Productivity
What do you like best about the product?
I especially like that Notion can track online meetings without being visible, as it doesn't interrupt the attention of the participants. I really love Notion because it can hold different types of media within a project, which is super convenient. I also like Notion's capability for unlimited database features and I find its AI assistant especially helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it challenging that Notion doesn't automatically create titles for meetings, using just the date and time instead, which can sometimes make it hard to organize. It would also be helpful if Notion could automatically generate hashtags and suggest links between documents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion acts like my second brain by keeping everything in one place, tracking all different information sources, and helping me manage project details and meeting follow-up points. It enhances productivity and stores various media types with unlimited database capabilities.
Flexible Knowledge Management with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the flexibility Notion offers in allowing me to create my own pages and structures. It includes databases too, which helps me do more with the knowledge I'm gathering. I also found that setting it up is easy since there’s no real setup needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it's losing ground to what we can now do with AI coding, creating our own solutions. I would like to see how Notion can fit into that kind of working, instead of trying to be the platform itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion as a central place for gathering data and information, including links to platforms like Google Docs and Figma. Its flexibility to create custom pages, structures, and databases allows my team to do more with the knowledge gathered.
Easy to Navigate and User-Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate and easy to use, with a friendly interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lots of updates constantly, and it’s easy to adjust pages even without knowing much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One data source for the business.
Easy to Organize with Powerful Features, Automations, and Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
It is really easy to organize in anyway you would like. There are also so many features you can use and very cool automations and integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is almost too robust at times. It can be hard to figure out what to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I primarily use Notion to organize and document my processes for my department.
Versatile and Easy for Everyone - Beware of the Limits
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion as a collaborative workspace and a daily operational tool, centralizing information and structuring projects. I particularly appreciate its flexibility, ease of use for non-tech people, and its versatility both for inter-team relations and team management. Notion helps us centralize information, structure processes, and automate certain tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
When we start having slightly more advanced or larger-scale uses, some databases become less readable, some automations remain limited, and we sometimes feel that we quickly reach the limits of the tool as soon as we want to make it a truly operational tool on a larger scale. The integration was a bit more complicated for people less comfortable with technology.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to centralize information, structure projects, and track Marketing/Commercial topics. It helps us centralize information, structure processes, and automate certain tasks, serving as a hub between teams.
Flexibility and Centralization with Notion
What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion’s flexibility and customization as it allows me to combine documentation, task management, and collaboration all in one place, reducing the need for multiple tools. The clean and minimal interface makes it easy to navigate. Structuring information using databases and templates greatly enhances workflow efficiency. I also find the collaboration features, such as comments and shared workspaces, really helpful for team coordination. The flexibility helps me organize projects and documentation according to our team's needs, which improves productivity and team collaboration. The initial setup was straightforward, and we could quickly create workspaces and start building pages.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion can sometimes feel overwhelming when managing very large workspaces, and performance may slow down with heavy databases. Also, some advanced features have a learning curve, especially for new users. It would be helpful to see improved offline functionality and faster performance for larger databases. More advanced reporting or built-in analytics could also add value for teams managing complex projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize my notes, manage projects, track tasks, and centralize team knowledge. It solves the problem of scattered information and reduces the need for multiple tools, improving visibility and team alignment.
