Keeps my projects (and my brain) organized

  • September 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion has been amazing for managing projects (both big and small). i love how flexible it is - tracking tasks, making dashboards, tables, timelines, etc. I can set things up in a way that actually makes sense for how we work. Its simple enough to get things together while powerful enough to build out complex systems when needed.

Its the best to keep things organized and searchable, If you're juggling multiple moving parts -- i really recommend notion
What do you dislike about the product?
For beginners, notion can be intimidating. That would be the biggest hurdle but once they start things can really take off. It can also be a bit slow to load or update pages in real time if you are working on a page simultaneously
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it helps me centralize everything in one place - tasks, timelines, responsibilities, references, etc. Rather than things being disjointed across email, slack, docs, spreadsheets -- its all connected so i can easily have everything in one spot and keep things aligned.

What do you like best about the product?
I do like with notion the ability to full customize any content I am working on for the team and can use multiple types of media (images etc)
What do you dislike about the product?
It was not as easy as Google Docs to learn but the capability of it is much more important.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is benefiting me by allowing me to make very indepth guide and process guides for different teams and one that is pleasant to look at.

Notion is a fast, intuitive way to manage all of your documents

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion has replaced half a dozen tools for me. I run a job-search pipeline, meeting notes, learning anchors, a wellness budget, and even personal logs in linked databases, so context is always one click away. Templates make it fast to standardize pages, and toggles/table views keep complex info tidy. I love how quickly I can turn messy thinking into a system that actually sticks. Minor gripe: the URL column/link behavior can be clunky when I want the title itself clickable. Still, between flexible views, clean design, and the ability to relate anything to anything, Notion is the app I rely on daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
URL/link handling can be clunky when I want titles to be clickable. A few view settings feel buried.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My problem was fragmentation: resumes, interview prep, learning notes, and budgeting lived in different tools and got out of sync. Notion solves that by letting me run everything in linked databases with reusable templates. I can jump from a job posting to interview notes to follow-ups and metrics without hunting links, and my budget and weekly plan sit right beside it. The benefit is fewer dropped balls, faster prep, and clearer progress—I spend less time organizing and more time doing.

Task tracking app that combines multiple styles into one

  • September 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion on a daily basis for task tracking at work and in my personal life, and it's one of the best that I've used. It's more than just a kanban board or simple note taker. It combines multiple different types of task tracking all in one tool. I really enjoy how robust it is and how it fits most of my needs.

The most useful feature is definitely the databases. I can view my tasks in a list, calendar, kanban board, and more. And saving a view of them is really helpful to see different views at a glance.
What do you dislike about the product?
My team members have stated that because of how many features Notion has, it can be overwhelming and causes them to not use it. There are also some features that will stop working randomly (like copy/pasting cells in a database, copy/pasting blocks in general, etc.). It's random when it happens, and sometimes it comes back, but it's frequent enough to be an annoyance.

I've personally always kind of seen the look of Notion to be a bit bland and not enough color and customization. It has some features for that, but I can't make a really pretty looking page like I could with something like Google Docs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing data and combining it with task tracking in databases. I use Notion a lot for my projects where I want to track dates that I'll complete them, to see them in a calendar view, and also track the status in a kanban board. So it really helps keep my data organized and easy to look at and use.

The Perfect Blend of Flexibility and Structure

  • September 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Notion's flexibility, allowing me to shape the tool to fit my workflow, unlike other apps that lock you into their system. The all-in-one nature reduces clutter and saves mental energy by combining notes, tasks, and databases seamlessly. Notion's ability to grow with me as my preferences change, offering a central hub for both professional and personal use, is incredibly valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Notion's speed and offline experience to be problematic. The app can feel sluggish, especially when dealing with large databases, which can interrupt my workflow. Additionally, relying on an internet connection can be inconvenient when I need to quickly jot something down, and a stronger offline mode would make Notion more reliable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion centralizes my workflow, reducing app switching and enhancing clarity by integrating notes, tasks, and data. It adapts to changing priorities and offers a flexible structure, serving as a personal operations hub for both professional and personal tasks.

Without Notion where would I be

  • September 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion has genuinely saved my life in college. I love being able to clearly organize my thoughts, classes, and notes in a way that feels like a planner but functions as a notebook.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the only downside about notion is that I feel it’s missing a few functions that the Google suite carries. I also think it’s a bit difficult to learn at first but once you get it, it’s amazing!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is solving the issue of having too many notes in one place without clear organizing. Being able to have multiple sub pages within a page really helps me create a large database of notes.

What do you like best about the product?
Its customizable yet minimalistic interface lets one be creative about their workspaces and makes it right for each user
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were a bit more fonts and ways to change the spacing when exporting a page as a PDF
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am bad with writing and analyzing. With Notion AI, I am able to analyze texts easier. It also helps me solve problems like in calculus and chemistry.

Easy way to organize large amounts of information.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how it is similar to the notes app in my phone. It's super easy to format things and link back to new pages I make.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be a bit overwhelming knowing where to go to find things. Our company uses it as a company wide database, so I find myself almost always going to the search tool to navigate to things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion gives me a place to takes notes about different accounts. I like that we have Notion AI to summarize calls transcripts that are imported from Gong. My company has a lot of industry niche information, so the knowledge base helps me quickly answer questions without having to ping an expert.

Loving Notion AI and it's capabilities across different products

  • September 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The Notion AI tool has changed the way I view Notion. I'm able to ask it questions and it will search across our various information sources and quite often give me real answers to the questions I'm asking. It searches notion and slack, I think other places as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has become a bit of a dumping ground of docs in our organization. And a lot of old, outdated and incomplete documentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing me to research about things in our org and get quick answers.
