Phenomenal AI, Customizable, and Efficient for Knowledge and Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion's flexibility and how it helps me organize things in a way that makes sense to me. Notion AI is pretty phenomenal, with the ability to create and edit notes from conversations, which truly feels like having an assistant. It turns transcriptions into usable notes, and I can ask it to use a template for a database entry, saving a ton of time. The AI can autonomously search the web for details and fill in information for multiple entries. It's impressive how it centralizes my notes and uses AI to remind me of projects and status.
What do you dislike about the product?
The hardest part is that it can be whatever you want, so it's not always clear how to make something solid. There was definitely a little learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me transcribe and create notes from meetings, storing them centrally for easy reference. The AI assists in reminding me of project statuses and also autonomously builds database entries by fetching details from the web, saving me a lot of time.
Versatile and Powerful Tool for Everyday Life
What do you like best about the product?
I love how powerful, but approachable Notion is. The product is improved often, which I appreciate a lot. I am a 'power user' of Notion even though I am not a coder, so it's great for me as it allows me to uplevel without needing to know coding or advanced Excel. It's also gorgeous to look at.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area of frustration for me is that I have a lot of linked views of databases. If I make changes to the filters, sorting, etc., then there's no way to sync it back to the main database. It took me a while to understand that I have to create views in the main database. It's a little clunky and I wish there was a way to send those settings back to the original database. Similarly to page templates. If I'm making changes, I wish there was a way to sync it back to the template, so I don't have to manually go back and update it. I started using Notion in 2018, and I remember the learning curve being pretty steep, but was more digestible at that time due to more limited features. I am not technical, but I am pretty tech savvy, and I would say that's a must for really getting the most out of the tool.

Notion helps me manage ADHD by offloading information from my brain, allowing me to store and recall data when needed, freeing up mental space.
Notion: The Ultimate All-in-One Workspace for Projects and Ideas
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is by far the best tool I've used for bringing my projects, ideas, and tasks all into a usable space without overwhelm or clutter. The databases are incredibly robust, and using the views to quickly get actionable info or create a personal dashboard has been invaluable. I've also recently started trying the AI Agents but so far they've been both helpful and genuinely exciting to use. The ease of use is impressive given how complex their database linkage can be. I've also been very happy with the ease of integration into my own workflows. As for frequency of use, I started with playing around with Notion perhaps a couple of times a week to now multiple times a day to track all of my projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would prefer a bit more robustness in the calculation properties. Even just If-This-Then-Sum-That would be nice, and a VLOOKUP function would be incredible. But for those I can use my own Excel/Google Sheets when I need to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The connective tissue between ongoing projects, specific weeklong tasks/sprints, and meeting notes can be essential to track, and losing those connections creates a ton of friction. I've used a fair number of tools to tackle this issue and so far none have done it as effectively and as pleasantly as Notion.
Powerful Service with Incredible Tools
What do you like best about the product?
Though it's intimidating to get started with, the variety of tools and templates available make this one of the most powerful platforms out there.
What do you dislike about the product?
I want to love it, but the Notion Inbox isn't that great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From note taking to tracking projects, I'm using Notion more and more.
Flexible, Scalable, but Needs Performance Optimization
What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion's flexibility and scalability, as it works just as well for simple workflows as it does for more structured team processes. The flexibility lets us tailor it to our specific process instead of changing how we work, and as we grow, it scales easily from simple task tracking to more structured systems without needing to switch tools. I appreciate how using Notion helps keep information centralized and reduces miscommunication by giving everyone a single source of truth. The initial setup was very easy and hassle-free.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that performance can slow down as workspaces grow, especially when working with large databases or pages with a lot of linked content, and it happens occasionally rather than all the time. Onboarding new team members also takes some time, and clearer templates, guided walkthroughs, and short in-app tips would make it easier for new team members to get started quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me keep information centralized and reduces miscommunication by providing a single source of truth. Its flexibility allows us to tailor our processes without changing how we work, and it scales easily from simple tasks to structured systems, making it invaluable.
Outstanding Experience with This Software
What do you like best about the product?
Notion stands out as an incredibly versatile and robust tool, capable of adapting to a wide range of workflows, whether for note-taking, knowledge management, project tracking, or documentation. The way it brings together databases, documents, and structured information in a single platform is truly remarkable. After getting the hang of its features, you may find it can take the place of several different tools, allowing you to build a workspace tailored precisely to your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main challenge lies in the learning curve, particularly when dealing with databases. Although the platform's flexibility is a significant advantage, it also requires careful planning and time to create organized, efficient systems. If I don't use it consistently, I tend to miss out on its more advanced database capabilities, which has made me use it less frequently in my daily routine, even though I recognize its strong potential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps consolidate complex information into structured databases, which is especially valuable for managing research notes and long-term projects. Instead of scattered documents and files, it provides a centralized system where information can be categorized, linked, and revisited over time. While I am not yet using it as consistently as I plan to, it is clearly well-suited for scalable knowledge management and future workflow expansion.
Effortless and Flexible—A Productivity Powerhouse
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the flexibility and ease of use, as well as how quickly you can accomplish tasks. The system is very straightforward, making it simple to get things done efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I haven't discovered anything about Notion that would discourage me from using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The centralization of information has greatly improved how we manage our project.
Flexible and Visually Engaging, Easy to Set Up
What do you like best about the product?
It's very flexible and easy to set up in a multitude of ways to what works best with you!
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a small learning curve to get things set up if you're transitioning from another software, but I love how I can make this much more visually engaging!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion has allowed me to manage personal projects, share vital information with people who need and it collaborate with others easily! It's easy for me to find notes and move them around later to a better filing system too!
A place to keep everything in your life organized from notes to call transcripts to to-do lists and beyond
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Notion makes it easy and organized. The way it's set up and structured allows me to organize my notes on one page without it being just a jumbled mess. Even if I have a mess of notes, it can clean them up for me instantly. I appreciate that I can use it for writing journals and organizing different types of notes and interviews. At work, it helps me organize all my notes too. I find the templates for any type really useful, and the AI feature is awesome for organizing messy notes instantly. Notion's flexibility is amazing because it doesn't box me in, allowing me to keep everything in one place, be it my to-do list, notes, or personal stuff.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Notion could be a little bit more intuitive. It's kind of a learning curve at first. The templates are all kinda buried, and you don't realize how much Notion can do at the beginning. You have to really learn and dive in deep to figure out what it can do. Most of my team members don't use it just because they look at it and they don't see the value right away. So I think they could do a better job of providing the value of Notion and make it easier to get started and understand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for work and personal tasks like note management, calls, and sourcing info. It organizes my notes, cleans up messy ones with AI, and helps keep everything on one page. It makes everything easy and organized, including a strong to-do list feature.
Powerful Knowledge Management with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the app and the website for Notion both seem to be just as powerful. I also appreciate the good options for formatting pages. It's important for our company because we have a ton of documents and resources, and it allows for people, especially new hires, to easily search for content.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think some features that are not available in our package, and have to be upgraded to should be basic features. I shouldn't have to purchase a higher plan in order to download a CSV of all my content. Currently, I'm only able to download a zip file and that's not the most helpful. This isn't a 'bell or whistle,' this is a very basic searching feature that you shouldn't gate based on price. Give me the feature and don't try to upsell me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion allows our employees to easily search for content, which is crucial for managing our huge document repository, especially for new hires. The app and website are equally powerful and offer good formatting options.
