Ultimate All-in-One Solution for Writers

  • January 01, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion extensively for my business and writing tasks because it's incredibly easy to use. I enjoy how everything is centralized in one place, which means I don't need to switch between different apps anymore. I appreciate the flexibility of organizing things in a way that suits me rather than being forced into a pre-defined structure. I also like the potential and ability to connect various platforms to my Notion site, allowing for a wide range of functionalities. Even though I haven't yet explored half of what's possible, I value the intuitive assistance I get from the AI assistant. The initial setup was very easy, and the AI assistant helps me whenever I encounter difficulties.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm still learning to get used to the platform, and some things work a little differently than what I'm used to. It's a way of doing things that has been geared more towards younger people than myself. Sometimes I have to fall into it to find what I'm looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to consolidate all my writing tasks in one place, making it easy to organize everything as I like. It eliminates the need to switch between different apps.

  • January 01, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the combines notes, takes, wikis, and database in one place as well as reduces the need for juggling multiple apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like export and backup limitations to explicit export options are basic mainly html or markdown. Also, no robust native backup system, which worries some users replying on it for critical data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves the problem of scattered information and fragmented workflows by bringing notes, tasks, and databases into one workspace. The benefit for me is better organization, easier collaboration, and less context witching, which makes me work more better.

  • December 31, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I mainly use Notion for organizing my daily work and personal life, like writing notes, planning tasks, and tracking goals. I love how flexible Notion is because I can customize everything based on my needs, making it feel like one tool that can do many things, so I don't need to switch between different apps. The templates save a lot of time, especially when just starting, and the organizational features keep everything in one place. I like that I can quickly change layouts or structures if something isn't working, and keeping everything organized makes it easier to find things later. Notion helps me stay focused and organized, feeling like a personal system that grows with my needs. Overall, it is an important tool in my workflow, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes planning and organizing their work in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that could be improved in Notion is the learning curve. When you first start using it, it can feel a bit overwhelming because there are so many options and features. Sometimes the app also feels a little slow, especially on mobile devices or when the page becomes too heavy with content. Offline access is also limited, which can be frustrating when internet connection is not stable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize my daily work and personal life. It helps me plan tasks, track goals, and manage projects in one place. Its flexibility lets me customize my setup, and templates save time. Overall, it keeps me organized and focused.

The customization helps me tailor pages exactly to my workflow, which saves time, reduces confusion, and makes it easier to manage studies, tasks, and projects in one place. The initial setup of Notion was fairly easy, as templates and simple drag-and-drop features helped our team get started quickly with minimal learning time. Notion is highly flexible, easy to use, and very effective for organizing in one place.

Flexible Workspace with Speed Hiccups

  • December 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion as an all-in-one workspace to organize my personal tasks, notes, and projects. It's where I plan content, ideas, and document my goals. I love its flexibility and how I can turn a blank page into anything—a journal, database planner, habit tracker, or a calendar. The ability to format things just the way I want keeps me consistent, and I really appreciate being able to turn a simple note into a database or tasks into a calendar with just a click. Notion centralizes everything, making it easy and efficient for me; plus, everything is customizable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion feels slow a few times, especially with large databases or lots of content. The mobile app is okay for reading but not comfortable for heavy editing. Notion should work on speed and mobile usability, it would be great if large databases don't freeze.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize my personal tasks, notes, and projects. It solves the problem of scattered information. Notion centralizes everything, making it easy and efficient to stay consistent and customize my workspace.

Simplistic Design with Room for Improvement

  • December 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how simplistic Notion is. The design's really nice to look at and it's super easy to do stuff, like dragging things around. Knowing how to use it and make things look really clean and minimalist is fun. It's also organized in a way that's really enjoyable.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's really slow sometimes, and also, like, it glitches and lags a lot when you get past, like, a certain amount of stuff you put in it. And it's, like, really a hassle to work with, and then you just wanna close the app and, like, use something else because it's just not working.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Notion helps me organize a lot of heavy information, allowing me to refer to it quickly. It makes jotting down stuff faster than using paper or regular notes, which is really convenient.

Incredible for Organization, Minor Pricing Concern

  • December 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion to organize ideas and make scripts, especially alongside my university studies. I find its ability to make visual boards with necessary properties incredible, as it's great at putting useful categories and helping with the layout for ideas. I like how the AI consults with me first, which helps me tailor the best outcome by evaluating the AI’s outputs and configuring it to suit my needs. Also, the initial setup was very easy to navigate and super helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it tries to be too helpful and I’d like it to be more assertive. The pricing is in USD, and living in Canada, I initially mistook the amount, which is quite high. Also, being from Brazil, the cost would be 5x the value, making it unaffordable if I were there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize ideas and make scripts for university studies. It helps me create visual boards and categories that aid my layout process. The AI consults with me, enabling me to tailor outcomes by evaluating and configuring its outputs.

Powerful Meeting Management with Room for Improvement

  • December 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to transcribe my meetings and take minutes, which helps me spend less time writing minutes for meetings and focus on more important tasks. I also find using Notion as a secondary database useful for making connections and searchable multi-selects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that Notion sometimes hallucinates or mistakes items for other topics during meetings, so I still have to remain diligent. The AI Meeting feature could be improved as the references often take me back to the last location rather than the actual reference. I'd like it to be more accurate with what was said.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me spend less time on meeting minutes, allowing me to focus on more important tasks. It helps keep track of what's said during meetings.

Best knowledge base solution if your are not into open-source solution. Easy of use and depth/number of features like table, databases, content block links make it a daily solution. Available everywhere thanks to web, app solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Offline solution should be part of the free tiers, while Notion AI could be made available via tokens to remove restrictions not just from enterprise level
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating knowledge base about my work and study projects, make data very much retrievable and available at needs. NotionAI makes search and thinking process easy and very detailed. MCP server for Claude makes it the perfect context solution to really enable coding and writing assistant.
