AI-Powered Workflows with Notion

  • December 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the AI assistant in Notion. It's kind of my go-to for surfacing things quickly that I've noted down somewhere and might forget. I just ask the AI assistant, and it helps bring everything to the surface promptly. It's been a game changer for my workflows. Notion has replaced several apps for me and is super helpful in managing both my work and personal tasks. It's like consolidating to-do lists and project management tools all into one place. I enjoy having it as a general knowledge base for everything in life and love how it simplifies day-to-day problems. It's also integrated with other tools I use, making it a central hub.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there's a lot of templates that are available. Sometimes it's too broad. The one thing I did like about Asana, right, is it's, like, it's purely project management. Whereas Notion, you kinda have to do a little bit more building. You kinda have to customize it. Sometimes I can kind of get into a little bit of analysis paralysis when setting up some of the things. There's a great amount of templates, but sometimes my brain just really has to dive into the template and understand how it works before I can make sense of how to actually move forward turning it into something I can use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion collapses multiple apps into one, like task lists and project management tools. It's a knowledge base, helps manage chores with my kids, and simplifies day-to-day tasks. At work, it transcribes meetings, creates tasks, and serves as my second brain.

Flexible Database and Dashboard Solution with a Learning Curve

  • December 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility and diverse usage of Notion. It's where I create tables, databases, and personal dashboards. I appreciate having everything stored in one location, which means I no longer have to search around for different things. I enjoy building my own databases with the information I need and filtering them out as required. Plus, the ability to have multiple, so-called brains to use is quite appealing. The familiarity of creating a document like a word processing file makes it user-friendly. Whether it's for church, sermons, personal use, or business, I can do it all under one app.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that at times as the program gets better and grows, sometimes learning the new features gets a little bit time consuming. And so, you sometimes avoid using them because of the learning curve. I wish that it was simple as it is now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion eliminates the hassle of scattered information by storing everything in one place. I can build and filter databases with ease, handle diverse tasks like sermon planning, meetings, and personal organization efficiently. It solves most of our planning and organizing challenges.

Organized and Focused, But Needs Speed Boost

  • December 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Notion's UI and design, as they make it very easy for me to stay focused and not feel overwhelmed, especially while studying. Everything looks clean and minimal, which helps me concentrate on the actual work without getting distracted. I also like the sub-tools like pages, databases, and task lists because they help me break down subjects and topics into smaller, manageable parts. This makes planning, tracking progress, and revising a lot simpler. The overall design helps me stay organized, consistent, and productive without feeling stressed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion does not work very well when it comes to speed, especially with larger pages or databases, as it can feel slow at times. Offline access is also limited, which makes it difficult to use when there is no stable internet connection. For new users, the learning curve can be confusing, and it takes time to understand how to set up an effective system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me manage tasks and topics for studies. The UI and design keep me focused and prevent overwhelm. Sub-tools like pages and databases let me break down topics into manageable parts, simplifying planning, tracking, and revising.

Flexible Yet Chaotic for Team Use

  • December 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like its feature of structuring our notes. Its database and tables let me put photos into the pages, add a calendar, and add tables. I appreciate using the many templates available that help in organizing everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customization in Notion is a big selling point, but it's a bit overwhelming. Teams spend more time designing systems than actually using them. There is no strong workflow option out of the box. The mobile experience is slow and clunky, and editing large pages on mobile is frustrating and often unreliable. It's good for individuals but weak for team collaboration. Real-time editing can lag, and the role-based access control isn't enough for large organizations. The initial setup wasn't easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for writing down tasks, sharing pages with my team, and taking notes. It helps structure our notes using databases, tables, and templates. However, it can be chaotic without structure, slow with large databases, and lacks team collaboration features.

Highly Flexible, Yet Requires Setup Patience

  • December 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion to organize my study plans, notes, and personal tasks in one place. I like its flexibility. It lets me design my own system instead of forcing myself into a fixed format, which works well for both studying and personal planning. I can adapt pages as my needs change without changing tools. Notion helps me bring everything into one place instead of juggling multiple apps for notes, planning, and tracking progress. I can clearly structure my study plans, break tasks into smaller steps, and revisit notes easily, saving time and reducing mental clutter. I most of the time use Notion as a central workspace, as it acts as the main place where everything is linked together.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial setup and learning curve can feel overwhelming, especially when starting from scratch. It can also feel a bit slow at times when pages become too heavy with content. When pages contain large databases, many nested blocks, or heavy embeds, performance can lag and scrolling becomes less smooth. Better optimization for large pages or lightweight modes for text-heavy workflows would improve the experience. Honestly, initial set up was complicated for me (after registering) compared to Google Keep or OneNote.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me organize study plans, notes, and tasks in one place, reducing the need for multiple apps and saving time. Its flexibility allows me to structure and adapt my planning as needed, minimizing mental clutter.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Notion for making planners, especially for planning out my days, my weeks, and my daily tasks. I love the clean and minimalist UI because it feels like there's no complexity in Notion, and I really prefer minimal UI designs. The initial setup was easy, mainly due to AI help, which made creating plans straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
Minor complexity while switching navigations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for planning my days and weeks, creating my daily plan, and appreciate its clean, minimalist UI for keeping things simple.

Intuitive, Versatile Tool for Note-Taking and More

  • December 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy Notion's easy-to-use interface and intuitive data structure. It's a great tool for organizing information, creating wikis, and tracking timelines. I also love the huge community of users that share best practices, which really helps in maximizing the platform's potential. The very easy initial setup, where we just needed to set up profiles before our usage evolved gradually, makes Notion stand out. Switching from Trello was a good move because Notion not only handles project management well but also adds impressive knowledge management and note-taking capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Notion could be improved with more tutorial videos and AI-driven recommendations about how to use the platform better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize information, create wikis, and track timelines, adding note-taking and knowledge management capabilities beyond what Trello offers.

Enhanced Daily Planning with Intuitive Scheduling

  • December 23, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Notion makes it easier to plan my day without confusion. Scheduling tasks is one of the best things about it, as it reminds me of my work. Making lists, whether for groceries or anything else, is also very easy. The initial setup was very easy; I just followed the instructions given.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Notion's UI a bit messy and think it could be smoother. It would be helpful if the features people use most were available on the home screen with bigger icons.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to schedule daily tasks, plan my days, take notes, and set reminders. It makes planning easier and avoids confusion. Task scheduling helps remind me of my work, and making lists for groceries or anything is very easy.
