Creative Freedom with Notion's Modular Flexibility

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the LEGO styled modularity of Notion, as it allows me to customize my workspace, page, and organization in any way, opening up creativity and not limiting me by the software. I also just liked Notion's UI more than other options.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can get a little overwhelming because there's so much optionality. Sometimes there's just new things coming out, and the lack of constraints can be a downside. The open-ended, blank slate nature can make it difficult to decide on what style I'm wanting, even though the available frameworks help a lot. Also, there was a learning curve to understand and learn what's possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize my ideas and projects effectively, keeping notes and thoughts in order, and supporting my creative writing.

Innovative AI Features Enhance Team Collaboration

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for my work as a software engineer, mainly to create documents to share with my team or organize my work. I like that Notion allows me to clearly communicate my ideas and share them easily with my team. I appreciate using AI to generate documents from my conversations with other AI like Claude, which I can then summarize in Notion. I like the feature that there are personal and team spaces, making it easy to keep things aligned. The ability to tag documents to other documents helps with organization, and though I don't use the note taker myself, I've benefitted from the summaries created by team members. Notion's collaborative tools allow us to share our ideas and discuss as a team effectively. The integration with AI and other features are what prompted us to switch from Google Docs to Notion. The initial setup was very easy, and while I still have a lot of features to explore, I find that Notion works well and gets the job done.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't had too many issues. One thing I would like is a more FigJam-style board rather than just doc style for sharing ideas and brainstorming. Often times a doc is too limiting for what we want to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to clearly communicate and share my ideas, organize my work with team spaces, and quickly create editable docs using AI, helping streamline communication and collaboration.

Streamlined Collaboration with Notion

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for notes and project management, and it really helps me create SOPs and roadmaps. I love that it captures everything in one place and makes it easier to collaborate with my team. I really like how easy the flow is and how I can collaborate with my team without having 100 docs in multiple places.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning how to use Notion felt a little foreign. I don't remember seeing a tutorial when first entering Notion, like a walk-through. I could be mistaken, but that could be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me create SOPs and roadmaps, captures everything in one place, and makes it easier to collaborate with my team.

Comprehensive Tool with Impressive AI, but Complex Setup

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for tracking day-to-day workflows and project-specific details, which has been immensely useful. I like that it is a single source for tracking, allowing me to nest multiple projects with ease and create planning boards similar to Microsoft Planner. Its AI component helps build databases, populates them, and links them to work more functionally, making integrations faster. The AI helps create task lists and business development boards, enabling me to track data and create my own internal KPIs. The all-in-one solution eliminates the need to run multiple platforms, making Notion particularly valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
My main complaint right now about Notion is that it does not have a direct Outlook connection. I can't modify my calendar and details within my business calendar if I don't have a direct Outlook integration. The two-way integration to me is the biggest downfall. The second biggest downfall would be if one did not have time. I could see where Notion would be almost overwhelming to build a board database. It's immensely powerful, but at the same time I can see it being overwhelming. It was okay. It wasn't easy. It was time-consuming and still takes more time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to track day-to-day workflows and project details efficiently. The AI component helps build and link databases, easing the integration process. It serves as a single source to manage projects, plan boards, and create task lists, boosting my productivity.

Formatting text can be a bit difficult, and I wish the editing tools were a little easier to use.

I use it to share notes during onboarding, as a sounding board for questions, and for general note-taking. Overall, it’s been a good tool for keeping everything in one place.

Comprehensive Yet User-Friendly

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for company resources and to find information quickly. I find it easy to navigate, and it has a ton of information all in one place. I like the ability to use Notion Calendar, as it's easy to navigate. The favorites tab keeps information easily available. I also like the private tabs because I can store my own resources. Setting up Notion was easy; I just clicked a link from my company, and it was smoothly linked with the rest of my organization. Additionally, I link Notion to my Google account, so it's constantly updated with information from my Google calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
More customization on the calendar as well as on the Notion app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for company resources, and it's easy to navigate with tons of information in one place, making information quick to find.

Empowers Task Management and Social Media Planning

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion's ability to create repeatable templates that make future tasks simpler. I appreciate using a table that can also have a calendar view to schedule social posts, which forms the basis of the social media system we use. The initial setup of Notion was easy enough for us, and I used Grok to help guide us through it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because it's a complex software, there is a learning curve. But that's not really a dislike, just that there's a lot to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to help my team and clients ideate, schedule, post, and review social media content, and track tasks. Templates make future tasks simpler.

Notion: A Flexible All-in-One Workspace for Notes, Tasks, and Collaboration

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Notion is that it brings notes, tasks, databases, and collaboration together in one flexible workspace. It’s very customizable, which lets me organize projects, track my work, and manage information in a way that matches my workflow—all in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of Notion is that it can feel overwhelming at first because of how much you can customize. Setting up structured workflows or databases can take some time to get right, and performance may slow down when pages become large or more complex.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion addresses the issue of scattered information across notes, documents, and task tools by bringing everything into one centralized workspace. For me, this means better organization, quicker access to what I need, and the ability to manage projects, tasks, and content more efficiently—all in one place.

Mind mapping has transformed how I organize study notes and access them online and offline

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for Notion is to make notes and store a lot of information that I can use online and offline, basically while traveling or if I get any information, I store it in Notion. My use case is essentially storing information and reading it while I'm traveling or at any other place where I cannot access my notebooks.

Notion allows me to make timetables, so I can define all of the time. For example, if I want to make a timetable for the completion of topics for a particular exam, I define particular days or particular hours of what I have to do. Then I can make a table in Notion and link the materials of what I want to study. There is also a status available to me where I can actually write if it is done or not, so I use Notion for basically tracking my activities.

In the case of Notion, I can make branches. For example, I started with a subject called notes of Machine Learning, so there are several topics and subtopics. I can make branches based upon those, for example, of ML, DL, or RL. And in ML, I can make other branches topic-wise, such as supervised and unsupervised, and in those supervised and unsupervised, I can also make branches. Notion allows me to keep track of a mind map in a mind map way.

How has it helped my organization?

Notion has impacted my organization positively because, as I mentioned, it allows me to make mind maps. Decluttering and providing a structured manner is where Notion plays its part for all of us. In a structured way, it allows everyone to see the information quickly and access it, and updating is truly easy. I also have a prompt session on which I can ask what I want, and that information is made into it. Notion has truly impacted the organization positively.

What is most valuable?

The best feature that Notion offers is, first of all, storing the memory and then it can be accessed later in online and offline modes. I can make a simple to-do list for a complex project with a complex project management dashboard or in a single workspace. Its ability to link notes, tasks, wikis, and databases seamlessly makes it incredibly powerful for both personal and team use.

The offline feature works well for me, and that offline feature allows me to use it whenever I have the internet and I'm entering into a no-internet area or traveling by train or metro or any transport where the internet might be a bit laggy or might not be as perfect. When my contents are synced in a way that online and offline are similar, I can actually use it in offline mode. Whenever I'm unable to access my internet, it works really well for me.

I think the most important thing is its seamless integration with all of the other platforms, as it allows integration with Gemini, with databases, and Wikipedia, and linking the notes as hyperlinks. It is truly an amazing feature.

What needs improvement?

I think it's about the robustness of the offline availability; it can be improved in some ways.

The offline feature can be improved a lot and be made more robust. It truly does have easy integration with all of the other tools but can be improved in some ways. The prompting is good in Notion, but it can be improved in some ways.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Notion for more than three years now.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Notion is stable according to me; I have not experienced any crash or downtime, but the synchronization between offline and online content does take time. It's not instant; it takes some time, but it can be improved.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

I have not tried larger teams or bigger projects, but I have tried it with my friends, and I think it is truly helpful for all of us because we can share content easily or integrate data with it.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

For project management, I'm not a project manager. In the case of note-taking, I used to write in Google Keep Notes or handwritten notes earlier until I found out about Notion, and I started using Notion since then because I want the content to be somewhere on the cloud so that it can be accessed easily when I'm somewhere else, and it does not break and can also be available offline.

What was our ROI?

I'm not using the premium tier right now or the paid version, but I think it is truly a return on investment. It saves time because the mind map is truly an amazing thing that has evolved. Notion allows me to build a mind map, and thus it truly saves a lot of time in understanding the structures of the stored content or the data; it saves time and also money.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

There are a lot of options available in the market. Notion is the most famous one in terms of a college person because I started during college. OneNote from Microsoft or Airtable are alternatives, but Airtable I think is used in iPhones, in the iOS, and Evernote is also one. Notion is truly the most flexible one that I found. Notion is stable according to me; I have not experienced any crash or downtime, but the synchronization between offline and online content does take time. It's not instant; it takes some time, but it can be improved.

What other advice do I have?

I share my notes with my friends, and we are sharing the notes all of the time. The outcome is, the most important thing is that we can review each other's notes and provide comments on it without actually altering the other's note. I can provide comments on it easily on the written content, and that is one of the most important use cases.

Notion is a truly great tool for anyone looking to use it. If you want to make mind maps, if you want to define your content in terms of what you want to do and what timeline you have to set, it is truly amazing and you must go for Notion. There are alternatives available, but Notion is one of the most well-known and diverse in terms of tools. It is one of the most amazing things that I've experienced right now, and I think anyone using traditional methods, such as Keep Notes, should go for Notion. I would rate this product 9.5 out of 10.

Great for Personal Use, Overwhelming for Large Teams

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Notion for the AI notes feature; it's been really helpful in summarizing meetings and is great for sharing lists or projects with others. The ability to take quick notes and remember interesting things, like recommendations, is also something I appreciate. It's handy to have a place where I can think about my organization's structure. The Notion AI note feature is particularly helpful because I can take screenshots during meetings and reference them later to remember what the meeting was about.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Notion is too overwhelming sometimes. I just want a simple thing to do it. I keep asking for the AI chat, and it's not that straightforward to find out. When sharing with others, it's kind of really sensible what things you change. It can change for everyone and isn't really desirable. Also, the initial setup is not easy; the learning curve is steep with so many options that it's hard to know where to start. I would love to have better control over how I visualize the calendar. I prefer Google Calendar over the Notion Calendar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me visualize my tasks and take quick notes for things I don't want to forget. The Notion AI note feature is helpful for summarizing meetings, organizing information, and sharing projects in one place.
