What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for managing my plans, whether weekly or monthly. I appreciate its ability to store my data securely and make it accessible to me wherever I am. Notion's templates are quite useful for my needs. I really like Notion AI as it helps me read my own information faster. The customization options are great; I can save my work as audio or Excel files, and add buttons whenever needed. I also appreciate the variety in storage facilities for any type of file or inputs.

I think Notion could use a more simplified version for beginners. It would be helpful to have a mode where we can choose how much customization we want. Also, having the option to save our own shortcuts would make things easier. The initial setup was quite difficult, but it gets easier after that.

I really appreciate how user-friendly Notion is. As an administrator and someone who teaches others how to use it, I find it incredibly easy to navigate. I love how easy it is to create a page or a database using shortcuts, like just typing a slash to easily add a page, emoji, or database. The interface is intuitive and makes searching a breeze. Notion excels as a solid knowledge management tool. I also really like how the various shortcuts and features significantly optimize my productivity. This includes templates and the ability to quickly add links or mention a page, which I use constantly. These features make it much faster and more intuitive for me compared to using Google Docs or Microsoft Word.
What do you dislike about the product?
Right now, I think some of the automations in databases could be better. They actually have improved since I've started using the product. But some of, like, the more complicated and nuanced things with formulas, things that are date related. I find those are a little bit trickier to do compared to other software that I've used in the past. Especially reoccurring tasks, with due dates. So those are kind of the only things really that I found that I think could be improved.

I like synced blocks a lot in Notion; that's the biggest highlight for me. It's decent as a knowledge management system. The initial setup was easy.

Moving blocks around in Notion is a pain. Editing in general is just meh. The version history isn't as good as Google Docs. You have to select the line instead of the full text on the line to drag and drop it.

Versatile All-In-One Tool with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for keeping notes, framing goals and plans, and as a to-do list. It helps me add images, videos, calendars, and other graphical tools to make my notes more creative and comprehensive. It serves as a one-stop solution for organizing my day-to-day life, so I don't need to store passwords separately or use other apps for calendars, to-do lists, or notes. Notion does it all. I love its versatility compared to other apps and the flexibility of experimenting with different ways of representing information. Its easy features let me customize and add widgets, bullet points, and embed images and videos and even publish on the web to share. In general, it's faster than other document editors out there according to me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes sync takes a lot of time. Tables as a widget could definitely be improved. Imagine if Notion had enhanced capability like a spreadsheet, you could literally add a budget sheet within a document with formulae, etc., and while Notion has that capability to some extent, I believe that needs improvement. The learning curve is a bit steep to be honest, but the product managers have done a good job in guiding beginners these days. For me, when I started using it 3-4 years back, it was pretty tough to get around.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion as a one-stop solution for organizing my day-to-day life, eliminating the need for separate apps for passwords, calendar, to-do lists, or notes. It streamlines everything and enhances creativity with graphical tools.
