A One-Stop-Shop for Collaboration and Organization
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Notion offers flexibility and customization, making it fit seamlessly into various areas of my life, both personal and professional. The straightforward setup process is a standout feature, being the easiest tool I've integrated into my routines. Notion has significantly improved efficiency and organization for my team and me, thanks to its versatile application in managing multiple purposes. I am particularly fond of its collaboration features, allowing for tagging and communication, and the AI functionality that enhances productivity with smart insights and action items. The ability for databases to interact is also a key advantage that I appreciate. Furthermore, having a comprehensive suite of features at my disposal, similar to an enhanced Google Drive, alleviates many organizational and collaboration needs, making it an all-in-one solution. The recording feature and AI-powered note-taking differentiate it from other platforms, offering real action items. Overall, Notion's vast array of capabilities and tools makes it invaluable for managing a wide range of tasks and projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the current integration with Slack, as it is not extremely useful, and I wish it offered more seamless functionality, since our team heavily relies on Slack. Additionally, Notion could benefit from improved integration capabilities overall, as navigating these integrations can be challenging, especially for those less familiar with setting them up. It would be advantageous for workspaces within Notion to communicate more effectively with each other to better support larger projects. Also, for smaller companies, it is frustrating to not have direct access to customer support, as this lack of support could deter smaller teams from successfully implementing and benefiting from Notion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Notion makes our team and my personal life more efficient and organized, serving various purposes. Its customization allows it to fit my specific needs rather than adapting to a predefined tool.
The best app ever
What do you like best about the product?
it helps me keep my class notes organized. Also I can have pages inside pages and that is the most helpful tool for a law student who needs to have notes and "case briefs" inside those notes. Also AI really helps and saves times in making my headings etc.
It is super easy to use and it has so many features that I can use to my advantage. From making tables and headings to keep a bulleted or numbered list.

What do you dislike about the product?
I still don't know how to use the calendar. I wish it would be simpler to put my tasks in there so instead of using google calendar, I can have all my asignments in one place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is helping me to keep my school notes organized and that is th best when it comes to participating in class. I do not have to spend time looking for my noites or cases. I know exaclty where they are. Also it let me do a canvas page with my courses and it is amazing how I have every single detail of every class added to it. I don't even have to use my school canvas, just to submit assignments.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the amount of content you can save and how easy it is to separate and order everything, making it easy to find what you need. I use it for business content and personal life. It's the best.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of any down side. It's a great product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm not great at remembering things, and everything I need to remember is saved in notion for me to look at when needed. I plan projects and content using notion.
AI makes all the difference in Notion
What do you like best about the product?
Holy smokes...I've used Notion in the past on and off and am skeptical about apps that charge subscription fees for AI when I already subscribe to GPT Plus. The integration makes a huge difference in Notion.ai and the beta feature for Q&A is outstanding, a chatbot trained on your data? This is a gamechanger, not because it's the only app that can do it, but it's ease of use and seamless integration are amazing. I've been a longtime Roam Research believer, but they've fallen far behind and AI is an afterthought, whereas it's fully integrated with Notion.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion does have some complexity compared to other note-taking apps and it's not the only one with AI. Mem and others are also good, but I think in terms of sheer versatility, Notion.ai is a gamechanger for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's hard to give Notion a single job. Many people refer to it as the operating system for their life. It's certainly capable of that (with some configuration) and what Notion can be is largely limited by your imagination. I'm using it to track projects, act as a knowledge base and manage projects.
It is really helpful for academic writing.

It can give satisfied output to my demands.

Sometimes, while paraphrasing, notion paraphrases with different meaning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am writing thesis and laboratory reports, as English is not my mother tongue, it helps me to write academically and gramatically correct.

The detailed organization options, and constant updates.

The inability to split pages up. I would like to be able to section a workspace withought having to use the preset options

AI Writing Assistant Makes So Much Sense
What do you like best about the product?
Using Notion for our company policies, notes and communication has always been the preference. But when the AI Writing Assistant was introduced it changed the game.
Creating a draft of a communication or policy for the organization saves me valuable time as a department of one. I highly encourage anyone in the communications or Human Resources role to consider using this tool to improve your writing and expedite your writing process.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to search anything in Notion, and while it's improving slightly, there's still improvements to make.
I also see some opportunities to improve projects and integrate into a task app like Motion or another to encourage the use of calendars to coordinate the project completion.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a very user-friendly platform. I use Notion's AI feature a lot. I think it is a game-changer. It increased my productivity a lot. I like the "improve writing" and "fix spelling and grammar" features. It enhances the quality of my writing. I use Notion very frequently, almost every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
The placement of ready-to-use templates on the left side of the platform, while practical, has the potential to create confusion for users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most helpful thing for me is the language simplification tool. While reading complicated articles and information, this tool makes content easier to understand. It has been extremely valuable in improving my understanding of complex topics and helping me engage better with a variety of materials. In addition to that, the ability to choose how we speak greatly improves communication. Adjusting our tone for different conversations or emails adds a personal and professional touch.

What do you like best about the product?
I love Notion's customizable features and ability to build things spatially for how my brain works. This has made it easier to manage my tasks and workload.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of math customization inside databases. For example, when I use "Numbers" on Mac, I can pick certain cells and add them up to get a sum. I can't do that with Notion (or at least not that I know of). Another example is being able to subtract - usually it just adds things up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can keep everything in one place - ideas, tasks, project management, etc. I am more productive because of this! I manage my clients' progress better, I am budgeting better, I am getting more done in less time. I build my dashboards for how I need things to look spatially which has helped a ton!
