Highly Customizable with Intuitive Interface

  • March 26, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how customizable Notion is and its intuitive interface. It's great that it's web-based too. I can use it for homeschool, my consulting business, my regular job as chief of staff, and my hobby groups. Each requires different setups like databases, tables, calendars, or to-do lists, and Notion lets me design these to fit each specific category in my life, making each experience feel unique. The initial setup was super easy, which was a big plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the lack of link or coordination with Gmail and calendar a bit frustrating. It would be nice if there were more tutorials or emails to introduce new features periodically, but not too often. I'd appreciate if Notion had pop-up suggestions to improve my work while I'm using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to manage to-do lists, meeting notes with AI, and calendars. Its customizability allows me to create unique setups for homeschool, consulting, my job, and hobbies, making it intuitive and fitting each category in my life.

Effortless Translation & Note Management, Needs Auto-Call Detection

  • March 26, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Notion allows me to auto translate and transcribe Spanish calls, as well as keep notes in English and manage tasks. I also appreciate that new tabs open for new conversations, keeping everything separate. The setup was super easy, user-friendly, and simple to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it would auto detect incoming and outgoing calls since I forget to start it sometimes or auto turn on. It would be neat to get a notification or it just automatically start when a call is answered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can auto translate and transcribe Spanish calls and have notes and tasks in English.

What do you like best about the product?
Notion AI has amazing accessibility, and the tab switching is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing specific comes to mind. I do think the speed could be better at times, but it’s a relatively minor issue overall and doesn’t have a big impact.

A Versatile Tool for Personal and Professional Organization

  • March 26, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can use Notion for both my personal and professional life. It's great for organizing things like a budget, managing bills, creating a vision board, and working with my clients. I'm able to learn new ways to use it daily for both personal and work purposes. It helps keep everything organized and allows me to maintain a seamless space for client access, making it easy for them to approve content and leave comments without sending separate emails. Switching from Google Sheets, Notion has become a seamless platform for us to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it could be a little bit easier to create different tasks within a content calendar, and to not have so many different view options show up every single time you create a new calendar. Although the list option is nice, it can get confusing. So I'd prefer that maybe that's an add-on option or something like that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion keeps everything organized and in one place, allowing for seamless client access and easy approvals, without needing separate emails.

Versatile and Effective, But Needs Database Enhancement

  • March 26, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how modular Notion is and how flexible the databases can be. It's very useful having different forms to use for ingesting data into databases, making data entry really easy. I also appreciate being able to create dashboards for different related purposes, which helps me manage all my lab-related work. It also allows the undergrads working with me to interact with the data in controlled ways due to permissions. The setup of Notion was pretty easy and straightforward, and I found it helpful to have a centralized hub for all my documentation, especially for managing grad school-related stuff and keeping track of notes. The AI meeting notes feature has been super useful for keeping track of discussions during meetings with my adviser or lab meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that Notion can be somewhat limiting when it comes to databases in their future. Coming from a coding background, I find the formulas powerful, but for more advanced use cases, they definitely feel limiting. There's not a lot of room for people with more programming knowledge to do more advanced things with databases. Also, using Notion as a task manager sometimes feels too bulky, with too much overhead, so I often default to using the Apple reminders app for task management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion as a centralized hub for all my documentation, managing grad school stuff like experimental metadata. The AI meeting notes help me keep track of discussions with advisors. It's great for organizing notes and databases efficiently.

Notion Makes Team Collaboration and Planning Effortless

  • March 26, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion is a great place to collaborate with coworkers and team members on tasks, to-dos, projects. It's also a great place to keep your goals and plans.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI could be improved to have less clutter. A more modern UI would be easy to navigate along with the text editing features. You can't use shortcuts like CMD+8 to create bullet points.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is a great place for us to centralize all of our projects, status updates, meeting notes.
