One place for all your personal and professional works
What do you like best about the product?
Collaboration is much easier and has rich functionality that is enough to centralize tasks, note-taking, documentation and planning
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not that easy to get started on Notion. Some functions are hard to find, it took some to learn
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used Notion as collaboration board that centralize all our ongoing and planned projects. And create knowledge base for new members
I feel superhuman
What do you like best about the product?
I still like it's user-friendly layout and extreme usability but the AI features have stolen the show - it turns me into a one-man team of 5.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not too much to dislike but would love if they built some native Loom like features into it so I don't need to embed and switch between different tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm creating sales playbooks and training manuals for my new SDR team. I've been working pretty much async with them fo the past two months and wouldn't have been able to do it without Notion.
Notion is a good noting tool
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is extremely intuitive and easy to learn. Best of all it has standardized formatting and general structure.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion is hard to crack into intiallly. Sometimes the app feels like it is lacking customization features otherwise it is a great app
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating SOPs and charts, note taking for academics.
Notion is helpful
What do you like best about the product?
Looks good and neat, has multiple functions like toggles, but also easy to edit.
What do you dislike about the product?
No track change. We often work on google docs first and then move over the final doc to Notion. This creates a lot of multiple copy/pastes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
i love that it's a database - super easy for internal teams to see unlike google drive's folder like feature.
Notion AI seem the best ChatGTP implementation I have seen so far.
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for documentation, and its AI feature is helpful in assisting most of what I write these days. The Notion block structure also makes it easy to get new team members started.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the numerous blocks overwhelming and the variety of features can be difficult to navigate. Specifically, the database feature is challenging to understand and use effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion has made it easy to start writing and collaborate on a knowledge base. Our teams can work on the same document and get things done much faster because of its flexibility. It's simple to add a picture and copy it out.
Almost there!
What do you like best about the product?
Summarising university notes, keeping important info and asking for definitions while watching live lectures. It's a great assistant for my studies and for general life admin.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion has been invaluable for my studies, however information is not always accurate and sometimes it completely misunderstands what I'm asking when the question has been clear, concise and grammatically correct.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Summarising lecture notes, helping with stylistic choices through tone, providing definitions of terms I am unsure of when watching live lectures and events and brainstorming ideas.
Great to keep your biz organized
What do you like best about the product?
I find the AI futures to be very useful. I also like how you can add many columns.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost for AI, $10, is a bit pricy especially since I don't use it everyday
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives me ideas for content; I like it has different options for writing styles. I don't have a team, but I can see it would be useful to share with other people to manage the projects/content.
Notion AI Writing
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that it can help with so many tasks and writing uses. From documentation to tasks to go do lists and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit buggy on my phone sometimes. Especially on pc. They can do better and it might be confusing for behinners
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping with the gritty work of idea and ground work. Helps with brainstorming as well as helping me format and refine my documents. Also help with references
Solid product for any size busness.
What do you like best about the product?
The AI. It is easy to use and saves me a ton of time. In most cases, is is very accurate, and the writing isn't too "robotic". Its just as good as other standalone AI products.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is going to sound incredibly knit-picky, and probably is, but it just doesn't look very friendly. The blank pages, black and white color scheme are kind of drab.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a great way for us to keep track of our ongoing problems, and communicate internally and externally, and the AI tool has been a huge time saver. We've also been able to leverage Notion for in meeting notetaking.
A place for your scattered thoughts
What do you like best about the product?
It's great to have a lot of different types of data you can store and organize in Notion. From text content, to databases, code, attachments, etc
It makes it very convenient.
I also enjoy the ability to create templates for commonly used formats, and the market where I can acquire (and sell) other templates.

What do you dislike about the product?
When you have so much information there, it can sometimes be challenging to organize it and find it. I feel it's very "folder-based", and maybe having a stronger search could help.
I also found that the app that allows me to share content to Notion is a bit basic, so I always end up just sending the content to an Inbox folder and from there I classify the content periodically, so I have to do the work twice. Would be great if I could send the content directly to a database, and if more information was captured automatically (e.g. source site, author, published date, maybe even some keywords/tags, etc).
The AI content helper is also very useful for creating content-most of the time. Sometimes it's hard to prompt it to do exactly what I want it to do, and I've noticed at times that it just repeats the output. In those situations, I usually end up going to ChatGPT or Bard.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives me one place for all my scattered thoughts. I get the peace of mind that my ideas are secure there, instead of being maybe lost in a notebook or a post it on my desk.
