Note Taking Powerhouse
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Notion for over a year and can confidently say that the in-built AI language model has been fantastic in assisting my law and computer science studies. I Frequently use the Notion AI to summarise textbook content and consolidate my notes into a consistent formatting style.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main issue I've had with Notion is the inability to crop images you've imported in the software. If you want to crop an image, you have to do it externally. I also had an issue with the start-up using the AI product, but the team supported me through this issue and cleared it up for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is giving me the ability to quickly prepare and take notes in my law seminars. I'm able to quickly consolidate the formatting from the notes I've taken using the AI and pull it all together using the AI.

I really like to use notion to organise and take note for uni class, I like creating databases to keep track of assignments.

I wish it was easier to use coding and css to customise pages

What do you like best about the product?
First of all, it looks pretty. I have never used a document app for over a month. I have been using Notion for a long time, consistently. And it is so easy to share the documents I made.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes formatting works in a weird way.

Organizing references and summaries is very important to me as a Ph.D. student. Notion helps me to achieve this goal.

Super easy to customize Notion to meet our team's needs. Everything can be done with a keyboard command; it's super efficient. Shared workspace helps keep our team aligned too.

Occasionally the blocks are not intuitive and formatting takes a little longer

It's the tool I was always looking for
What do you like best about the product?
As a maker and tinkerer, the fact that I can build what I need around me as I go is exactly the flexibility I've always wanted. The fact that every iteration helps me to be more organized almost feels like icing on the cake even though that was the initial reason I started using Notion.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a small handful of issues that I would classify as somewhere between 'eccentricity' and 'bug' which seem to have persisted across multiple updates. None of these block functionality, they're just annoying. And there have been a couple of features that felt like they were released prematurely. Perhaps effort could have been reprioritized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, none since I am on sabbatical. But previously (and I am sure in the future as well) it helped keep my team organized after we build a KMS, managed product development, and content creation, I personally use it as a personal KMS as well.

What do you like best about the product?
The thing I like best about notion is how easy it is to start simply by writing and using markdown. The page hierarchy and automatic table of contents are especially useful for organizing different pieces of info
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing I dislike most about notion is the paste support. For some reason, when I paste things into notion, I'm not sure what's going to come out. I think it sometimes tries to parse html or other special formatting and it comes out all weird. Another weird thing is selecting things and copying them from notion. Sometimes it selects the thing I want and other times it starts expanding to block level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I mostly write technical docs/RFCs, team process docs, and roadmaps in notion. The entire company uses notion, so it is easy to send notion docs around to share ideas and add comments/collaborate.

Love to use this tool for organizing many aspects of my work, professional, freelance, and personal life.

sometimes notion can be a little slow to load or open really complex databases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me organize my courses, AI helps me draft ideas, and create easy editable content within the notion workflow. It's been a great addition to the overall tool, and I look forward to learning more abotu how to implement it.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use Notion AI. The easy drop-down design of the prompt makes my work productive. I really like how Notion AI keep all the record of the AI suggestions, and I can switch between them to choose the best one.
What do you dislike about the product?
TBH, I think the answer created by Notion AI is not as great as ChatGPT. I think it is because the Notion's nature makes me feel less motivated to give specific and good prompts. I am already in a doc, so I assume AI knows everything. However, AI cannot know your real needs, so how to give a better prompt(given the situation where some docs are already there) in Notion is becoming my pain point.

Management of the teamwork, including timeline, organization, and all the related staff in a team.
The great design of the database? It reaches an outstanding balance between being powerful and easy to use.
