I am not a very organized person but Notion has helped my keep my life in order.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the Notion is versatile. You can use it to make to-do lists, schedules, or collect links from around the web. It allows me to use it for both work tasks and personal situations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it feels like the product is so versatile that it can be hard to know the best way to approach a need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion's AI writing assistant is my first real foray into AI for a real task, not just experimenting. I asked it to help me create an itinerary for an upcoming vacation and then organize it into a table I used to build a calendar.
Extensive Tools within intuitive interface
What do you like best about the product?
It has really extensive set of feature for agile process. We do end to end product development documentation in Notion and that helps me to get all my information in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
The onboarding and learning the platform and the plugins can be very challenging. I needed a week or two to just understand the interdependency the platform offers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I write feature details, Track user stories, customer help articles, product roadmap ideas using Notion.
Notion is a great internal library for companies, can use some upgrades for project management
What do you like best about the product?
This is a great resource center for internal employees to find and self-guide. Good for learning & development, onboarding, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting deadlines + assignees are not great because they don't get alerts when assigned. Could improve search function.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeps employees organized with one source of truth. Notion also keeps people accountable with ongoing projects across multiple teams.
An efficient AI tool
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy how Notion allows me to fix my grammar and spelling, as well as make my ideas more clear to a broader audience. I find myself using Notion a lot to write emails and identify gaps in my writing
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the system can crash, or I have to ask the same question a couple times to get the expected results I want, but I find that being very specific about what I want it to do helps a lot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's extremely helpful with time management. It allows me to get work done faster and lets me focus on writing that I'm more interested in, and I'm able to get my point across much faster with Notion

What do you like best about the product?
Notion allows me to efficiently organize thoughts and ideas. As a student, notetaking with Notion has allowed me to access and organize information faster with its pages, as well as using features like image & video embeds to improve the learning process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was more customizability with the font options and font sizes. There are times where I wish notion had an offline availability option, as it seems that notion requires a stable internet connection to access pages.

I think Notion's AI writing assistant allows me to structure my ideas faster and more efficiently, by being able to write a coherent and structured response that I can later modify.

The organizational skills that Notion can provide are beneficial.

The only thing I dislike about Notion is the learning curve that comes with the platform.

Previously when I used to prepare the notes, I was reluctant to share as I was not satisfied with organising the content, which pulled down my interest in creating more documents and sharing.
Love the ease of notion and the ability to have a hub for documentation

Lack of documentation, training, prioritizing, employee onboarding
Notion AI helps me prioritize by taking mundane, repetitive tasks off my hands
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Notion is the all-in-one tool it is. Now with AI and Slack integration, I only open my web browser and Notion. The Ai tool saves me time reformatting, summarizing, and rewording... this is super awesome since ChatGPT is often overloaded. I love how we can flex Notion to be what we need for our teams, however... (following Q)
What do you dislike about the product?
It is often difficult for new users to stick with Notion. Its open-endedness, customizability, and blank pages with loads of properties are intimidating to most. As an admin, one of my most challenging tasks is creating this stickiness at the beginning when introducing people to the tool.
Once people turn the hypothetical corner of understanding, its well-liked... but that new user stage is always a tough one to get around, and that is where we see the user fall off the journey and not adapt.
Notion's young age limits this understanding as there is not much online info on how to use the tool (like there would be for Excel or Word). We often find ourselves lost in articulating how things are working and have no assistance besides an account rep, which can be slow and inconvenient when Q's pop up all day. Notion's online knowledge bank is helpful but limited to foundational info and does not align with how many teams use this multifunctional tool past the classic uses.
Also- I have difficulties with the Desktop version crashing, but I can easily pick up on the browser version, causing small inconveniences but not much. The AI tool is amazing, but is limited by how much output it can return.

The notion is solving 1) the issue of duplicate content, 2) non-open-sourced AI tools and 3) it allows a virtual, all-in-one ecosystem where our teams can work.... As we work virtually, Notion is the closest thing we have found to feeling that collaboration that often fades when teams disperse/go virtual.
Great UI, stupid AI
What do you like best about the product?
I like the structure and organization of the notion. It is much better than Evernote because I can include pages and toggle lists in my notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI is not good enough. I used ChatGPT to do comparison, and I found that the response from Notion was much worse than what I got from chatGPT.

A great way to store notes.
