A Student's Best Friend
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Notion has so many features, and is easy to customise. As someone who loves to stay organised, and also make things aesthetically pleasing - Notion is a dream!
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little difficult to use, but after some exploring and practice it's fairly easy to get a grasp of and customise it to your individual liking/needs/aesthetic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is a great data base with many features that are especially useful for students to organise their classes, work, projects, and personal life! Streamlines allof my work/study needs.

The ease of use of content within Notion. The portability and publishing features, and now the added AI functions.

The lack of advanced commands and formulas that most data sheet software have like Excel and Google sheets.

What do you like best about the product?
However you implement the configuration of a bulletin board or nest it within others, you can keep everything in order and easily accessible to everyone on your staff. When transitioning from an idea spreadsheet to a writing spreadsheet, the coding remains in the text unchanged. In the software is the ability to accurately observe the people who are working on a project as well as the position they hold. This would dispel any kind of doubts in the work or study as a whole. It is simple to tag work colleagues on certain occasions and also generate conversation streams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once a difficulty has been flagged as solved, it is very complicated to find out if it is necessary to reference anything in the course of the conversation related to the drawback. There are a couple of degrees of learning slope to understand the way it is possible to construct the pages according to your requirements, particularly in the case of table making.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Notion as a tool to manage content from start to finish, from publishing to deletion. We are a group of people who write, edit and manage internet publications with the aim of producing content for teaching and marketing websites. Notion helps to move materials between each staff member for their specialty within the job. In effect, it works like what we wish would happen in Google Docs. If you are creating a large amount of material and working in a group context, Notion is a simple way to ensure that everyone in the group is working on the same version or draft of your work. In the same way it is very helpful to be able to extract the tarot from one person's homework to use in another person's homework when it becomes their duty.

What do you like best about the product?
Notion is an easy-to-use platform to make your (creative) work/projects/business better manageable. The AI tool saves me a lot of time drafting plans and finetuning ideas. It's the perfect partner for a brainstorm session by yourself.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like for the AI tool to have an option to have more of a conversation. Now sometimes when it drafts something, asking clearafying questions or little prompts would really help get a more targeted result faster. Now it feels like you have to start over from zero when the first result isn't entirely what you are looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a good platform to manage all my notes and projects. But mostly, the AI writing assistent helps to elevate my ideas and writes creatively. Notion helps me get more work done in less time.
Great interface/design, but would be great to improve in some areas
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is super slick and super easy to use. I also love the design and how I can make continuous pages within a page. AI was pretty neat to use. I also love how you can use it on browsers and also as an app.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I use tables for data, it lacks much compared to MS Excel or Google Sheets. Especially with shortcuts, it doesn't work the same, which poses an inconvenience. Also, it would be great to have options such as functions (sum, basic calculations) because I want to use it for financial databases. Also, for the search option, it would be great to be able to search a keyword or phrase.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's the best for note-taking management. It's quick to pull out when I need access to specific notes or information I've jotted down. Also, it's organized neatly, so it's easy to manage.

Overall AI features are not that useful for me - one thing that I like particularly is it's ability to cut down on the noise. I usually use the AI features to make the text concise.

What do you dislike about the product?
I really think an offline version would help a lot. Sometimes when you need the docs that you work a lot with and i want to review makes it very difficult without internet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me collaborate and share knowledge in my org since most of us work in an async environment. With all the integrations support I can pretty much add everything I need for project in 1 place i.e code snippets flow charts and article that I need.

What do you like best about the product?
This was my first time using it. I've heard of Notion before, but decided to use it primarily for the new AI tool. My favorite feature of Notion is the blank page editor that you can build with the different dropdown tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
The default sample pages, templates, and teamspaces did feel a little cluttered and overwhelming. I'm currently not using any of them, but am afraid to delete the samples in case I do use it, but the spaces feel cluttered with them. It would be nice to keep all of them under one separate sample section that you can easily duplicate if you were to use them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I want to speed up my writing process for my blog. It's been easy to build a page using the different drop-down tools such as building a table,"Improve writing," "Make shorter," "Summarize," etc.

While I appreciate many aspects of Notion, I find a few areas somewhat disappointing. One of the things I dislike about Notion is its steep learning curve. It can be overwhelming for new users to understand all the features and functionalities, hindering the onboarding process. Additionally, the initial setup and customization options can feel complex and time-consuming.
Another aspect that I find limiting is the lack of offline access. Notion heavily relies on an internet connection, and while it offers a mobile app, the offline functionality is quite limited. What do you like best about the product?
I love how versatile the product is. I think that's one of the strongest selling point for the product and with AI it only gets better. Notion is so good I in fact cannot think of a competitor that's better than Notion because I had a use case that no other products really offered, and when I asked my colleagues Notion was the first thing they suggested.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hate the search experience, I mean it's fast but the text based search doesn't really sometimes show the files that I am looking for. And also the sidebar gets really noisy after a while because there are so many docs in our org.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a software engineer, we need to write a lot of documentation to onboard other developers or newbees in our organisation. The fact that I have the quick ease of sharing any file/images/videos in a high quality text format is just what keeps me satisfied as a user of Notion.
