Centralizes Documentation with Seamless Interface
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the interface of Notion. It is very seamless and smooth to use, and very easy for new joiners. It's easy to navigate between documents, refer to documents, build tables, build databases, and so on. The initial setup of Notion is pretty easy. I would recommend Notion at 10, 10 out of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the fact that Notion is not using markdown or formats that can easily be reproduced outside of Notion. Typically, for engineers, it's easier to use markdown tools to write documents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion centralizes all our documentation, making it easy to refer to and collaborate on documents. The comment sections improve document collaboration.
Notion is the best for collaborative editing where everyone can participate.
What do you like best about the product?
A place where collaborative editing is possible. In traditional tools, many people were just observers, but with Notion, everyone becomes a participant.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing wrong. If I had to say, it's still difficult to use with the trendy generative AI, and I don't really understand how to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All the team's information is gathered in Notion. It's what you might call a Single Source of Truth (SSoT). The product backlog, the linked Wiki from there, and also schedule management. Everything is completed with just Notion, so you can build an ideal dashboard on the top page, and all the team's information circulates through Notion.
All-in-One Tool with Some Gantt Chart Challenges
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion as a project management tool and as a knowledge base. I like that we can put all our projects there to follow the status of each and enable teams to collaborate on projects smoothly. It's great that we can link knowledge to projects, with everything in one place. I really appreciate that you can put many documents in Notion and it's quick. The databases are very nice compared to a simple knowledge base tool, and I also find the automations useful. Everything is in one single tool, which was a key feature that led us to switch from Trello and Slite.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some issues when handling projects, sometimes views break down (like Gantt diagrams). For many months there was a bug where you could not move a task on a Gantt and this was a huge limitation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to track project statuses, enabling smooth team collaboration and linking knowledge with projects in one place.
Powerful Editor with Seamless AI Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion widely to write Technical Requirement Documents and draft blogs. Publishing is so easy with Notion, and the editor itself is more powerful than other doc editors like Google Docs. I like the new AI integration with the editor. It has helped me to fix grammar errors and formatting tables and paragraphs. The AI also assists in creating mock data that I can use in mock APIs and helps with creating the starter for PRD, TRD, etc. Notion has so many features that I haven’t explored, but I’m sure it can fit every use case related to docs. Setting up Notion was very easy, and they have a really good onboarding experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the tables are not a good fit for me in Notion. Changing the width and customization is a problem. I also feel having more styles in editing text can give more benefits. Tables should have the ability to take the full width of content. Regarding text style - user sometimes needs to give background color to blocks, which is not available right now in Notion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion simplifies publishing, has a powerful editor, and the AI integration helps fix grammar and format documents like PRDs and TRDs.

Intuitive, Visual, and Seamless for Community Teams
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Notion is how easy and intuitive it is to use, especially for marketing teams. It makes planning campaigns and organizing projects very seamless with its clean, visual layout. I also appreciate how easily it integrates with other apps, which helps streamline workflows and keep everything connected in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Notion can feel a bit overwhelming because of the wide range of options available for adding and organizing content. While the flexibility is powerful, it can be confusing for new teams who are just getting started and trying to understand how to structure their workspace effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves the problem of scattered information and disconnected workflows. Instead of managing campaigns, project plans, documents, and tasks across multiple tools, we’re able to centralize everything in one place. For our community team, this has significantly improved visibility and everyone knows where to find information. It’s also very easy to onboard new team members because of the connection between pages and the ability to create a versatile, well-structured homepage. This makes it simple for new members to navigate resources, understand workflows, and get up to speed quickly. Overall, it makes our processes more organized, efficient, and scalable.
Notion’s Templates Save Tons of Time and Make Getting Started Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Notion is the wide range of templates available. They make it incredibly easy to get started, whether I’m organizing projects, creating documentation, or building internal resources. Instead of starting from scratch, I can use a template and customize it, which saves me a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Notion is how easy it is to edit or delete content, especially once a resource or page is already finalized. While flexibility is one of Notion’s strengths, it can also create risk; important information can be accidentally modified or removed without enough friction or safeguards.
I would love to see stronger default protection options, such as more granular editing permissions, a clearer “lock” feature for finalized resources, or an approval-based editing mode.
I would love to see stronger default protection options, such as more granular editing permissions, a clearer “lock” feature for finalized resources, or an approval-based editing mode.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Notion as a centralized knowledge base where everything is stored in one place. This has made it much easier to organize documentation, create structured resources, and quickly search for what we need. As a result, we save time every day that would otherwise be spent switching between platforms or digging through files.
