Notion | Empowering Productivity with Style and Simplicity
What do you like best about the product?
Notion keeps evolving in ways that actually make a difference to my workflow as a PM. I’ve always loved the rich template library—it saves so much time when setting up docs like product roadmaps, sprint retros, and meeting trackers. The new AI template builder is especially helpful when I’m starting from scratch. Features like AI meeting summaries, Notion Mail, and smarter search (even across PDFs and Jira) have really improved how I organize and access information without jumping between tools. I’ve also started using conditional forms and interactive charts more often—they’ve made feedback collection and KPI tracking much smoother. Overall, Notion feels less like a note-taking app now and more like a real productivity hub for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Notion has become a core tool in my workflow, there are still a few areas for improvement. Performance can lag a bit when working with larger databases, especially on mobile or weaker connections. Offline support is still quite limited, which can be frustrating when I’m traveling or without stable internet. And while the AI features are helpful overall, they’re not always consistent—especially when it comes to summarizing across linked pages or generating context-aware tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves multiple problems by providing a versatile platform for writing PRDs, roadmap planning, note-taking, task tracking, and collaborative work. Its structured approach streamlines the creation of PRDs, while roadmap planning ensures clear project direction. The note-taking feature consolidates ideas and research, and task tracking simplifies project management. Additionally, Notion's AI writing assistant enhances productivity by offering suggestions for improved grammar and clarity, refining written content. This comprehensive toolset greatly benefits my workflow and productivity as a product manager.

Notion is for me the most powerful tool for selforganisation and mind extension it can be used in a variety of ways so that it can be personalized to each ones needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not that easy to use in a first review, you must invest plenty of time until you are familiar with all possibility and templates available on it and made by community

Selforganisation and planing of life and work in one single place as well as providing different templates and usefull tools to be linked to it's pages and now the AI function

What do you like best about the product?
I like the most that you can create elements and resources without limit. It has a lot of tools and features to create whatever you want and connect everything easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't customize your forms to print a page with a personalized design. For example, if I want to print a page that is in a database, it will show all the properties, but if I don't want, I can't hide it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes my life and my workflow easy. Now I can have all my information and data in just one place.
great app for academic notes
What do you like best about the product?
In my experience, the notion is an excellent platform for class notes; it has made academic life much easier. In addition, the support of artificial intelligence is of great help when we run out of ideas; we do not know how to start with a text.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the case of disagreements, I have not had many, except that, at first, the interface was complicated for me, but it is a matter that can be solved with tutorials

It makes it easier for me to access my notes, and I can access them from any device.It also makes it easier for me to organize the information I need

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy using Notion to express my thoughts in writing. It's a fantastic platform for organizing your ideas and making sure you don't lose any great ones!
What do you dislike about the product?
I found Notion quite hard to manage and understand starting out as the platform doesn't feel too intuitive. Mastering the art of Notion definitely requires you to follow some form of content on Instagram for example to get a deeper understanding of the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion AI helps create more concise writing and ensures that all major messages are well-formatted. This takes a lot off my plate, allowing me to focus more on the message's context rather than the grammar itself.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the versatility of Notion. Both commands and AI without leaving your keyboard. Toggle menus are great for writing longer docs or research. The AI helps with editing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI is limited. Some transference with google docs is lost in the format. It may be helpful to move segments of text around. All around, great program. Thanks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't have to leave the keyboard near as much as other word processors. A built-in AI, even one that deals only with the document, is useful in editing. Scrolling through large amounts of notes, he has made it much easier with the use of Toggle menus. Being able to add more types of media than other word processors. Ability to use AI to critique my work on a limited basis. It at least brings up Ideas for improvement. I've written prompts for Notion AI that analyze my writing for certain elements, like a Call to Action. They are not fully reliable--yet.

I really love notion's capability to come up with a database feature.

Coming up with databases and automatically obtaining and linking data such as websites into the information that you require. Aside from that, the AI addition also helps in generating tables and graphs automatically which can be very useful in compiling information.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part about using Notion for me is how perfectly it helps to manage everything. I can plan my trips, schedule personal development projects, keep track of my dog's life, and manage my social media accounts all in one place. And the finest point is that Notion is fully customizable to fit my specific needs. I can easily create personalized databases, tables, and templates to track my progress, set reminders, and collaborate with others.
What do you dislike about the product?
However, while Notion is a powerful tool, it may not be the best fit for managing massive amounts of data or for creating connections between different knowledge sources. Additionally, Notion's flexibility can also be a double-edged sword in that it can be overwhelming to set up and customize the app to fit specific needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is solving the problem of overwhelming life management by providing a customizable platform to keep track of various areas of my life, such as personal development projects, travel plans, pet care, and social media accounts. This helps me to avoid scattered notes, incontrolable rosurces, or missed deadlines.
AI Writing Assistant
What do you like best about the product?
I find the ease of use of Notion AI to be the most appealing aspect of the program. Being able to quick synthesise and edit text generated by the AI is massively improving my workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that converting between different programs like Microsoft Word and Evernote to be a bit tedious on Notion. A simpler converting and exporting system would be more useful for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is assisting me in generating novel ideas for my business and academic work using its AI system. Through this technology I can work through assignments more quickly and accuately and better assist in the work of my colleagues.
Great for notes and templates for meetings of all sort
What do you like best about the product?
I like the customisation options available as this helps me clear up my work and also present it in a more organised manner. Using the AI tool has helped to make templates for meetings and 1-2-1 sessions, which can be quickly whiped out for emergency use when a meeting has been changed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish there were more templates available for free and that Notion could utilise Excel functions further.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me solve problems of organising my notes by using the AI to help do this with a quick typing, this is especially useful when I have been taking notes during a long meeting and need assistance summarising these.
