A drawer with everthing for anything
What do you like best about the product?
One of the things I appreciate most about it is its versatility. The tool is highly customizable, which means that it can be adapted to suit different needs. It's like having a digital space that can be used for anything and everything. Apart from being a useful tool for managing freelance work, finances, and travel plans, Notion is also great for keeping track of various personal interests and hobbies, now I have a space to save articles or references and easily arrange them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that the learning curve for Notion is quite steep, which can be frustrating and time-consuming. Additionally, the formatting options for tables are somewhat limited, and it can be difficult to create columns that contain only icons. These issues are largely related to the user interface and user experience, which could be improved with some updates and redesigns. In my opinion, a more intuitive and user-friendly interface would make it much easier to use this software effectively and efficiently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using Notion for some time now, and I must say that it has been a game changer. Notion helps me manage my tasks while automatically creating a work journal, it allows me to divide my goals, phases, and specific tasks, making it easier for me to manage my time and prioritize my work. Notion has also solved a major problem that I used to face product design - centralizing references. Now I can save my references by categories or even relate them to my projects at any time. It has helped me stay organized, focused, and productive, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to streamline their work and boost their productivity.

What do you like best about the product?
What I liked the most was the reflection feature as well as a good price / quality. Additionally I liked that it was a complete tool.

I would say the fact that it was a bit hard to open the tool or I didn't know how to open it from the start

when response is generated with AI for selected text, its little confusing on how it will appear, or how to proceed from there, it took me some time to understand how this works.

I am using notion to rewrite sentence as it takes of grammar and spelling as well as for creating PRD's.

Notion has several useful features. The ones we use and like most are the project management tools with tasks, epics and the larger Gantt chart roadmaps. We also use Notion as a knowledge base.
What do you dislike about the product?
When compared to products like Atlassian Jira, there are some more technical functionalities that are better suited to dev teams, that Notion is currently lacking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We primarily use Notion as a project management tool to keep track of all the cross-departmental tasks that are associated to a given project. We also use the knowledge base functionality to store all of our deployment release notes.

Despite the recent inclusion of buttons, one downside of Notion is the lack of automation for many tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me avoid fragmentation by providing a single platform where I can manage various aspects of my life. I no longer need to use multiple applications as Notion allows me to have dedicated spaces for both my work and personal life. It allows me to handle tasks such as project management, personal habits, writing, and email correspondence all in one place.

The first tool where I started to map much of my life digitially.
I use it both for personal and some of the prefessional tasls and many things in between.

* Notion AI is additional fee over the main license and not so good
* No incremental export
* Export does not contain all of the data so in a way I am locked to Notion
* Still incivenient (not that fast and easy to use) for day-to-day tasks but good for relatively complex projects.

Managing my project, my data and many aspects of my life. I wish it had a quick task feature as I continue using dynalist.io for pure and fast tasks.

The ai helped me a lot specially in taking class notes it made it way easier. Usually i had to spend 3 days proofreading transcripts now its less than 10 minutes /hour
What do you dislike about the product?
Just embeding pictures and having few fonts is a bit annoying but there are a lot ups that make this disappear , also there's room for page layout improvement, for instance i am used to read two column books so it would be nice to have two columns of text for me,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Proofreading he text is way easier now, beside that i make hand notes based on transcription and it helped me save a lot of time and earning some extra bucks. Very useful.
Go to tool for productivity
What do you like best about the product?
This product innovates and truly helps me get organised and productive. As of the introduction of AI, you can't go back. Who wants to switch context to other tools while you can have it integrated with your notes, todo's and databases? It's truly my 2nd brain at this point. Also very fond of the API options to let other tools like Readwise integrate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The number of features can also be a bit overwhelming at times; there is so much to explore!
