Easy to use and very versatile
What do you like best about the product?
I use it all the time and for various tasks and projects in both my professional and personal life. I use it to help write up various administrative documents, emails, workshop and class sturcture templates, scheduling, journaling, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
It still feels less secure to work directly on Notion, so I copy-paste much of my ongoing work to Microsoft word where progress is autosaved and past iteraions can be pulled up at any time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily administrative duties related to email writing, workshop planning, and class structure templates.
Loving Notion - lots of helpful features and helps me stay organized
What do you like best about the product?
It's helpful to stay organized and very useful to have AI make things like: table of contents, formatting, help with word count, etc. Super intuitive design! The customer support has been helpful as well, and I use it a lot!
What do you dislike about the product?
NA, except the cost! But I understand that it is necessary to charge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me stay organized with different clients!
I LOVE Notion
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is like evernote meets grammarly meets chat GPT AND SO MUCH MORE. I love that I can do everything I need all in one place!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes typing in the table elements can be a little clunky but not a deal breaker at all
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing my business, my clients, and my personal life.
Great Productivity Tool, Especially when paired with Calendar
What do you like best about the product?
Databases are awesome for organizing production schedules and social calendars. Calendar integration, app integration with all my Google stuff and the AI features have helped save me alot of time doing tedious task. AI still needs human input and review, but it is great tool that allows me to be hyper-productive in shorter work sessions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes editing notes in Android is inconsistent. The tools to modify a block sometimes disappears and I have to close the app and reopen it to get it to work. Using a Phone with Android 13 and superfast storage and processor, so I don't think it is a device issue.
All in all though, not too bad.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing and sharing multiple social calendars, maintaining productivity and creating concept and creative notes for collaboration.
The learning curve has been pretty easy, and I am still finding things I didn't know Notion could do, but implementing these newfound features has been pretty seamless.

A true second brain notion Ai
What do you like best about the product?
Notion as a tool is great notion with its baked in ai service makes my second brain way more efficient. I have a ChatGPT subscription and googles advanced Gemini included with my stride plan. While those are great for their use cases. Heading an ai baked into my notion with access to all my input make creating content so much nicer. There are notes I forgot I took and while I could search for the notes if I know about them. This so lets me ask my second brain questions and gather ideas. It helps me brain storm without leaving notion.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be overwhelming but definitely worth the time investment to really learn this software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I have writers blank I can ask ai to search my notes for ideas.
Productivity Machine!
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the UI/UX design of the application. I also really love the plethora of available free templates ranging from business templates and personal templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike about Notion is that when using it in light mode, my cursor somehow becomes invisible because it is coloured white as well. I'm not sure if it's just my setting but since I was experiencing that problem, I only use notion in dark mode, which I do not mind at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me stay organized with the tasks I need to do on the daily and monthly, which, in turn, boosts my productivity.
Notion AI Summary tool is introducing efficiencies at work
What do you like best about the product?
I recently had a project at work where I needed to summarize and anonymize feedback. Notion's new AI functionality worked perfectly for this use case! It was easy to set-up an AI Summary Block and knock-out my project. I use Notion daily at work and would highly recommend the tool for a variety of use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would LOVE to see a recurring task feature!

Positive Use for Instructional Design
What do you like best about the product?
Autosave, collaboration, commenting, streamlining, ease of use once learned.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of creativity. Does demand uniformity, but also halts creative endeavors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working on a remote team, this allows us to share ideas, projects, and assign tasks with ease. We can track our projects and easily communicate on pages with one another.
Easy to use, lots of options
What do you like best about the product?
I love how highly customizable Notion is. I also love how I can invite people on my team to be guests and participate with the material I'm creating. I use Notion daily to organize my projects, write content, organize my calendar, and communicate project status with my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be overwhelming on how to set up pages/databases as you want it because there are so many options and you have to learn the tools to be able to use this very powerful tool. So there is a big learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the biggest ways notion is helping us is that I produce a weekly podcast. There are many tasks we need to complete before the podcast goes live and even after the podcast goes live. With my team I can organize all these pieces so that we can stay on top of this weekly production. So Notion functions like a to do list, a way to communicate with my team about each of the steps, a way to write show notes, and social media content for the podcast, and a way to track the schedule as it changes. I'm probably forgetting some things, lol
Notion and Notion AI
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Notion is how flexible it is. Unlike other apps that kinda force you into using specific templates for a variety of things (like formatted project planning docs or task-oriented to-do lists), Notion gives you a lot of options to organize things your way. And so it's easy to use and customize for everything I need; work, life, and school all in one place. Moreover, the user interface is quite intuitive and easy to navigate. Thus, it's easy to leverage its full suite of features without feeling overwhelmed. I've used it a lot for a lot of things and so I've also adapted my routine to it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a number of UI features that could be improved, in my opinion. This includes - ability to organize opened tabs, ability to control default opening view (i.e., new tab or side peek), ability to change margins, and improved use of reminders (like the reminder being turned off if the to-do is done or the task is marked done).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team primarily uses Notion for project and sprint planning. The AI is very useful in this in terms of making templates for project requirements that help guide the meeting and allow us to think of the items need to be discussed and questions that need to be answered. It also makes it easier to turn bullet point notes into proper and clean documentation. I would say that templating is the strength of the AI assistant. It could use some better scoping though, since sometimes it considers things in the document that I don't necessarily want it to consider when writing or summarizing a part of the document.
It is also helpful in putting up a knowledge base. I usually dump all that I have learned in using a tool in bullet points, and the AI is quite helpful in making that understandable. Again, I would say it is not as accurate as I would want it to. It gets confused after I ask to change it a couple of times (like make it longer, make it shorter, etc.).
