The interface is very easy to edit and collaborate on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes has performance issues including backspacing text other than the text you selected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborating as a remote first company.
Very clear, great company organization tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to map out the logistical outline of our company, organize tasks and departments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some things have taken a minute to figure out how to do---not as clear cut-but have figured it out in the end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is organizing our company. You can easily see an overview of everything, then specifics from there.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you would like to organize your company all in one place visually, this is a great product for you
Simple and good looking productivity tool
What do you like best about the product?
It's a browser-based environment, so doesn't need to install any extra apps not to note your tasks, and it has a lot of functionalities, so its a kind of all in one tool for productivity
What do you dislike about the product?
I's look is very basic. It can be improved, but that's also a specialty for this app since its elementary style makes it very fast smooth to use. Also, it's mobile apps UI can be a bit more appealing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me to keep track of my tasks and track the road map of my projects, and also its web clipping option is handy to save articles from the internet to read them later
Extremely customizable, good for creating your own structure.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can add pretty much anything I can think of to Notion. It's like Google Docs merged with Google Sheets and a lot nicer to look at.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion does a little bit of everything and not enough of some things. I really like it as a general-purpose catch-all, but I prefer to stick to my single-use apps for anything that might have specialized requirements (like using Google Sheets for tables). That doesn't mean i don't love Notion for when I need to mix and match; that is where it excels.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
See above. When I need to use multiple types of documents with one another, Notion does it very well — for example, creating a word document with a table embedded in it. I also like that I can link pages within pages. It is beneficial for our team to knowledge-share this way.
Flexible yet powerful!
What do you like best about the product?
It's flexible to design and build your own workflows to please your aesthetic requirements and powerful at the same time to build robust systems and workflows. You can connect databases together, their formula field si very powerful and they have a clean canvas and they're reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their app is slow and doesn't work offline which makes most of the use-cases needed to work on the go pretty useless through their app. They're also slow in terms of releasing new stuff
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been using it to manage my entire life + my work. Since it's easy to build interconnected systems in Notion, I've managed to make a project management system, OKR, financial tracker, habit tracker, time management system, book reading, notebook system. You can literally replace tons of tools out there using Notion
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you love simplicity, it's for you. If you love building complex systems for your personal use, it's for you. It's not for you if you're a team size of +20. It's not built for big teams
Took some time to learn, but powerful tool when you know how to use it!
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is highly versatile as a notetaking, collaboration, and organization tool. There are helpful integrations that reduce the number of tools I need to switch to throughout the day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion Search is not good. It's slow, seemingly random, and doesn't make finding the correct document easy to find. It feels like this is the biggest area of improvement for users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Notion, I used Google Sheets/Docs/Drive, which is helpful, but it's nice to have the entire company using a single tool that's flexible enough for all teams.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Notion has excellent support & they genuinely care about serving their customers.
Powerful with a learning curve
What do you like best about the product?
I love how customizable Notion is and there's a way for me to implement it in many different aspects of my life.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a learning curve to finding how to make it work best for your needs; the openness of the platform can be overwhelming at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing my productivity better and able to see the overlap between projects on a larger scale.
Great collaborative note-taking software
What do you like best about the product?
Notion makes it easy to take team meeting notes in real time and quickly assign tasks to team members. I like its simple design and user-friendly UI accessible to a range of users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although I like Notion's no bells-and-whistles UI, I would prefer some options for visual notetaking/whiteboarding, if possible. Or if these features already exist, I'd like to see them more clearly from the menu options. Also, I've found that real-time updates are sometimes slightly delayed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team and I use Notion extensively for meeting notes, and the real-time updates are appreciated. I was recently in a meeting and saw my colleague typing notes as we were speaking, and I was glad to see I didn't have to take notes myself!
Best app for organising notes
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is more smooth now and alot of new features are also introduced. Also with the addition of the Notion AI using notion has become much more simple and helpful. The AI can translate complete pages, analyze your notes, give insights on your data, help to create data and much more. I cannot suggest a much better notes keeping and sharing tool than notion. Recently I have planned a trip so I have noted everything down and using the AI also improved that alot and then shared the link to my friends so that they can also see the itinerary and they were impressed with the clean design and how easy it is to share there type of notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am still not sure on that. Like the needs that I have it fulfills those there is noting extra I need from that. So I dont have anything that notion can improve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem that notion solves for me is the ease of taking notes and managing them. It maintains and keeps the notes in a very organized way which saves a lot of time and we can access them anywhere anytime.
Great platform for written collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I love how it facilitates the process of live documentation and reporting between teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
The project management and database features could be more fleshed out. Like Click-up and Airtable
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication and documentation of remote work. It's wonderful how flexible Notion is to solve this problem.
