Streamlined Project Management, Needs Better Notifications

  • March 23, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I manage my marketing projects with my team using Notion, and it's been great for centralizing everything in one place, which reduces friction in collaboration. I love its ergonomy, flexibility, and intuitive interface, which fits well with my daily routine. It helps a lot when managing projects because my work usually involves different types of information at the same time. The intuitive interface is a big advantage because it keeps complex setups easy to use. I use Notion as a central workspace where each project has its own page with everything in one place. Performance works very well, and the initial setup was super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notifications and task tracking could be improved. It's not always as strong as dedicated task management tools when it comes to reminders and follow ups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I centralize information with Notion, reducing tool switching and collaboration friction. Its intuitive interface makes handling diverse data easy.

Notion Feels Like an Operating System for Life and Work

  • March 23, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion is a genuine operating system for your life and work. To be fair, it isn't perfect. The learning curve can be steep, and while the new Offline Mode has finally arrived, it’s still in its early "polishing" phase compared to local-first apps like Obsidian.
What do you dislike about the product?
Well, because you can build anything, it’s easy to spend hours designing a "perfect" productivity dashboard instead of actually doing the work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The primary goal is to solve information fragmentation. I can write a project brief, embed a task list, and link meeting notes all on one page, so everything stays connected. I can also link a “Client” to a “Project,” and then connect that project to a “Task.” When I update one item, the others reflect the change, which keeps the whole system consistent. In practice, this turns my notes into a living, breathing Second Brain.

Flexible Workspace, But With Performance Hurdles

  • March 23, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion mainly as an all-in-one workspace to keep both work and personal things organized in one place. Notion brings everything into one place so I don’t have to switch between tools, which solves the problem of scattered work and lack of clarity. What I like most about Notion is its flexibility and how it adapts to the way I work. It lets me build a system that actually matches how I think and work, instead of forcing me to adjust to a tool. I can keep things as simple as a basic to-do list or build a full system with dashboards, databases, and workflows. It allows me to start simple and, as my workload grows, I can turn a task list into a structured tracker with statuses, deadlines, priorities, and filters. The initial setup of Notion was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though Notion is really powerful, there are a few things that don’t work as well for me. One big issue is performance. When pages get heavy with lots of data or complex databases, it can feel slow. Loading time increases, and that breaks the flow sometimes. Another drawback is the learning curve. The flexibility is great, but in the beginning it can feel confusing. There’s no clear “default system,” so you spend time figuring out how to structure things properly before it becomes useful. Offline access is also limited. If the internet connection is weak or unavailable, it’s not very reliable. That can be frustrating when you quickly need to check or update something.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to solve the problem of scattered work and lack of clarity by keeping everything in one place, avoiding the need to switch between tools.

Intuitive Interface, Great for Brainstorming

  • March 23, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion's simple UI. I think it's really easy to use as a place that jump starts my ideas because it's just so simple to get started. I also love the transcribe feature on meetings, allowing me to see detailed action steps after meetings, which helps when those steps might be unclear. Notion helps me turn gray ideas in my mind into black and white with clear next steps. The initial setup was super easy, which is a big reason why we use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there could be some better project tracking in Notion, for more sophisticated project tracking. I also think if we could get some ideas of brainstorming and brain mapping from Miro into Notion, like the way that kind of works, that would be really cool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to clarify my ideas into clear next steps and love its transcribe feature for detailed action steps after meetings.

Powerful Tool with Great AI and Comprehensive Data Management

  • March 23, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Notion for AI-powered research with all of our data from Notion, Google Drive, Slack, and Jira. The AI-powered answers are comprehensive and sourced, saving me a lot of time. I also find it powerful because it goes beyond just documentation, offering more functionality, which is why our team switched from Atlassian Confluence and Slite. The initial setup of Notion was easy, which is another positive aspect.
What do you dislike about the product?
Importing data to Notion database from CSV can be a hassle. I always need to process data in a sheet before using it because only dates in US format are managed by Notion. I wish it could manage dates in the French format (DD/MM/YYYY) directly. Also, the harder part was using Notion's database.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to consolidate data in one place, making my information easier to manage. Its AI-powered research across Notion, Google Drive, Slack, and Jira gives me comprehensive answers with sources, saving a lot of time.

Versatile Knowledge Base Tool with Room for Improvement

  • March 23, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Notion allows me to link together a bunch of things, which is helpful for keeping everything connected. The markdown formatting is pretty simple, and I find the shortcuts generally pretty good. The initial setup was easy, and I don't really remember any issues with it, which suggests it was a good experience. Overall, I generally really like using Notion, and it's good for what I do.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Notion tables are a bit nitpicky when you're working with them, so I think those could be a bit more user-friendly. I also find that I accidentally use the AI tool more than I would like, and it gives me a bit of trouble on Notion generally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to build a knowledge base and capture our organizational context, which can be challenging with unconnected Microsoft Word docs.

I use Notion for work to organize my workflow, and I really like its very clean and nice interface. It's easy to use and I can also customize and share my page. The initial setup was quite easy since I just connected my Google account.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features in a normal document app are not in Notion, for example having centered alignment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

  • March 23, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion AI makes it very easy to find information and data across my organisation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can sometimes get lost when I’m following chains of Notion pages, especially when one link leads to another and I lose track of where I started.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organising tasks, guides, customer details, and other related information in one place. it connects well to other apps we use such as Slack
