What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Notion is its ability to revolutionize productivity and organization, empowered by its AI capabilities. Notion offers versatile customization options, seamless collaboration, powerful organizational capabilities, easy integration with other apps, and convenient mobile accessibility. With its AI features, Notion becomes an even more intelligent and efficient digital workspace, simplifying tasks, enhancing teamwork, and providing valuable insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a regular user of Notion, there are a couple of things that I find less favorable about the platform:
Learning curve: I must admit that when I first started using Notion, there was a bit of a learning curve. The wide range of customization options and features can be overwhelming at first, and it took me some time to fully grasp how to make the most of them. However, with a little patience and exploration, I was able to become more comfortable and proficient with the tool.
Performance with large databases: On occasion, when working with large databases or extensive amounts of data, I noticed some performance issues. There were instances where the loading and navigating speed slowed down, causing a bit of frustration. While it didn't happen frequently, it's worth mentioning that this aspect could be improved for a smoother user experience.
Despite these minor drawbacks, I still find Notion to be an incredibly powerful and versatile productivity tool. It has significantly improved my organization and workflow management, and I appreciate the range of features it offers. With some initial learning and occasional performance considerations, I believe Notion remains an excellent choice for personal and professional use.

As a student and junior software developer, I primarily use Notion for two purposes:
Note-taking: Notion serves as a central hub for all my note-taking needs. Whether it's jotting down lecture or meeting notes, capturing ideas, or creating to-do lists, I find Notion's interface and organizational capabilities to be highly effective. Its flexibility allows me to structure my notes in a way that suits my learning style and helps me stay organized.
Documentation: Notion is an invaluable tool for documenting my work as a software developer. I can create and maintain detailed documentation for projects, including code snippets, explanations, and step-by-step guides. Notion's versatility enables me to structure and present my documentation in a visually appealing and easily accessible manner. It also facilitates collaboration with teammates, allowing them to contribute and access the documentation as needed.

Productivity tool and time saver!
What do you like best about the product?
The way it has helped me stay focused and organized on tasks and projects. I have the ability to create whatever I want. The new AI features are fantastic and have saved me so much time on research and brainstorming for projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The endless possibilities of what you can do with Notion. While that's part of what makes it great, it's easy to go down a rabbit hole of trying to make the best use of Notion that I end up being less productive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps my team and me stay focused and organized on our projects. Everything is located in one spot and we all have access to it. The AI tool has also really helped.
Great and flexible working tool - even better with AI
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is a wonderfully flexible system. It takes some time to get used to it and to get into the depths of the program. The possibilities are huge. Notion AI was/is a killer feature for me and has significantly increased the usefulness and also the fun of anbrewit with the program.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion requires training. Some things seem complex at first. Without tutorials, you can start working with the program immediately, but you can save yourself a lot of work if you first get to know the program and the philosophy behind it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me with all relevant tasks and activities related to working on research projects. Having everything under one roof is a great help and what you have always been looking for.
Notion can really change the way we work
What do you like best about the product?
Very intuitive and rich feature list, design
What do you dislike about the product?
Converting content from other platforms, especially more complex forms
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration with others on various projects as well as keeping my private and professional notes under one umbrella
My virtual diary of three years
What do you like best about the product?
I love Notion's organizational features that make it easy to sort out my ideas in a way that makes sense visually, e.g., drag-able blocks, toggle blocks, different heading styles, font colors, different table views for dated journal entries, etc. Adding onto that - since I've been using Notion to journal my thoughts for the past three years, I've enjoyed utilizing the search feature to compare my personal journal entries across those years. Pinpointing the exact life phases that I was in precisely 365 days ago and 730 days ago makes me feel like I'm mentally time-traveling.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly can't think of anything that I would strongly dislike. I have not had any significant problems with Notion, although sometimes, on the mobile app, it would take a while for my entries to load because I have so many. Another thing I've run into within the mobile app is that when searching for specific keywords in entries within particular timeframes, I cannot go back and view a result upon viewing a different result. My place in the results gets lost, but all I have to do is scroll or re-apply my filters/timeframe/re-enter the keywords I had. Again, it's not a huge issue, and usually, my alternative is to utilize the search feature on the browser instead. Aside from that, I hope that someday the AI feature will become more commonly used and integrated within Notion's free components. I guess another thing lastly that I know many others have wanted is offline accessibility for Notion, although I'm rarely in a situation that calls for it. If I am, my alternative to that is just typing in my generic notes app, and copying and pasting it into Notion later on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I first started using Notion about seven months into the COVID pandemic. During that time, I could not express my thoughts comfortably to others, let alone feel heard by them, whether it be my family, friends, or even strangers in y virtual communities. Notion became my private space (albeit maybe FBI agents are reading this right now or they have read my entries within the past few years, but it's whatever, tbh) -- the point is, Notion was a space for me to express my thoughts without judgment from anyone. I could type out all my ideas freely, organize them, and it became my therapy. It helped me a lot with self-reflection and awareness -- it was healing. It became a part of pretty much a daily routine for me. With the AI feature, I feel that Notion has become even more therapeutic because of its ability to elaborate on my present and past journal entries. Sometimes Notion AI will summarize my entries for me in the third person and add a little positive spin or a resolution to a thought that I never came to on my own before, and it can sometimes be mind-blowing. Using AI to create stories, songs, poems, etc., from the context of my journal entries is also really fun. Notion AI is quite literally able to create art from my experiences without me doing too much. I've enjoyed Notion overall, and it has been a perfect space for me to stimulate and execute my thought process and independent self-expression. Previously, in university, I also utilized Notion to help me stay organized when taking notes for some of my classes. Now, I'm in post-grad and use Notion to organize my life.
An amazing way to improve time describing the solution of tickets
What do you like best about the product?
The capability of an AI to generate the text for you allowing you to have more time to focus on solving an issue in a board. Its great because the generated description fulfill everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe Notion could have a way that the AI could tag the tickets based on previous experience or type of tickets, allowing you to calculate better the sla of the assignation of a ticket.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it as a scheduler and as a CMR to manage the issues and requirements of the company, to give a solution to our clients in a fluently way, allowing us to have more time to code new features and work bugs.
Notion AI is the best writing assistant out there
What do you like best about the product?
I have stayed with Notion for the past 3 years, because it's simply the best out there.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion can better connect with my calendar and send me notifications regarding the quick notes I have marked. Also get updated as I add events to my calendar. It does this now! but can be improved. Most of my previously saved events do not appear on my notion calendar
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I guess the main problem Notion solves is the ability to share documents easily. I must add a new document to the respective team or project and start writing. Everyone in the team or involved in the project gets access to it, without even me granting access to each and every one individually. Also if I want some docs to be private, I can keep it private too.
I love notion
What do you like best about the product?
It's so dynamic, even if there isn't a direct way to do something, you can often find a workaround to really get a page structured just how you want.
What do you dislike about the product?
A little confusing sometimes when trying to add guests and share specific pages with them, hard to see exactly what they are able to view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I manage my workload on a kanban board, I have written a knowledge base for our team as a db (using the ai writing tool), we manage our team sprint goals, and break it down into Quarterly goals, tasks within those goals, and then specific sprints.
AI Writing Assistant
What do you like best about the product?
So versitile, easy to use. And great Ai tools
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. I'm really happy with the UI and the functionality
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's s great platform for our teams. That is so flexible and adoptable.
Ideal tool for multitasking!
What do you like best about the product?
It keeps all my research in one place. Hence it is easier to return back to referring to all my notes in one repository. There is some amount of freedom to create our own templates as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Due to the exclusive features, it limits students to make use of them. For example, the AI feature can be used a certain number of times. It does hang sometimes too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The best part is that I look forward to my research. whenever I feel stuck I try the AI assistant tool to give me a headstart. It is not always accurate, but definitely a beginning.
