Fantastic note taking app
What do you like best about the product?
As a user, I've tried many different note-taking apps/services. The list includes Google Keep, OneNote, EverNote, and Obsidian, to name a few. In my experience, Obsidian is the most feature-rich note-taking app out there and beats out all the competition. Unfortunately for Obsidian, most of its points come from the flexibility of the app, and it loses out dramatically on the usability side. Fortunately for Notion it comes pretty close on the flexibility side and massively wins on the usability side. Throwing in their new AI has helped me speed up benign tasks like formatting, grammatical review, summarising or expanding blocks of texts, or even coming up with basic plans.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion does most things well however, I find that templates, whilst powerful, are incredibly clunky to use and implement regularly with just too many clicks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion has enabled me to write notes quicker, more frequently, with more detail and with their resent AI even condense and summarize others notes to add to my knowledgebase.
Use notion for manage my knowledge libarary and use notion ai for some gpt stuff

the database is useful and the notion ai make it super easy to write blog / confluence / email and correct my grammar since i am not a native English speaker
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes time to learn how to master notion. sometimes i feel annoyed to not knowing how to fully use it. i may need to google or watch some youtube videos to use it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a user, it is benefiting me by helping me with my grammar and writing emails, as well as providing a centralized location to store and organize my notes and documents. Additionally, its AI capabilities allow for a more personalized and streamlined experience.
Notion AI: Better than ChatGPT
What do you like best about the product?
The quality of the AI-generated text is extremely high.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be quite buggy on mobile sometimes. Also, I wasn't able to purchase a monthly subscription of Notion AI while on a yearly Notion plan.

Makes it easier to generate and edit text.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to have everything in a centralised location.

There really isn't much that I don't like however more templates would be good.

Completely changes the way I take notes and study
What do you like best about the product?
I can have it write breif summaries about my notes, or have it create flashcards from my notes making studying so much more effortless

They have no offline feature, meaning I have to constantly hotspot my laptop.

I can organise my projects more efficiently and my entire team can quickly and easily check on the project
Ideal Platform for Visual Organization
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Notion is the ability to visually organize tasks, data, schedules, etc., especially as a student. I like the block-style of Notion.
What do you dislike about the product?
I suspect there are a wide variety features that I cannot access since I do not code, so more practical commands accessible on the platform could be helpful (the online posts are already helpful for this).

Notion AI helps avoid writer's block, and provides a starting point for a variety of projects, which allows me to minimize time spent ruminating, and increasing productivity.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the interface. The beauty of creating different pages and integrating with Notion AI is well done, and I have enjoyed using it. Overall, great experience with the app.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a little bit too complicated. I think the learning curve is too great for most users, and because of this, I have strayed away from a lot of Notion's functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes studying a whole lot easier. Especially as a computer science student, taking notes and solving problem sets have become so much easier. Ultimately, the integration of Notion AI is really well done.
Very good tool when we know the limits
What do you like best about the product?
Organise thoughts and build up. The pages are well organised and the blocks are super easy to move around. Re-organising is made easy and the visualisation is nice. The best is even the possibility to generate online website from pages for free in a few clicks

The pricing is sometimes not clear especially when you bring people in the team. The billing is made a bit hidden somehow and hard to understand where it comes from but the support team is here to help

Organising thoughts into build up documents in a single place with availability of ai in a simple key. Easy and accessible are the main advantages kf this tool

With regard to Notion AI, I haven't encountered any major issues so far. I look forward to the accuracy of the model improving over time with more training.
