Notion AI helps me enjoy my writing
What do you like best about the product?
Ever since Notion announced its AI writing tool, I have been excited. As a power user of Chat GPT and Grammarly AI, I have found that Notion's take on AI writing is light-years better.
I love how it helps me improve text clarity, eliminating the need to struggle with synonyms or proofread multiple times for redundancies.
The "Simplify language" option is a life-saver for internal communications. I work at an international company and sometimes need to make my point quickly and easily digestible.
"Make it shorter" is one of my favorite commands when writing in-product messages that need to fit on a button. It works like magic every time.
Bonus tip: If you, like me, have to review a ton of content/texts, Notion's "summarize" command will save you hours every week. A special thank you to Notion for that.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when I ask Notion AI to improve my writing, it loses my formatting. For example, my neat bullet points turn into paragraphs.
While I appreciate the AI's efforts to improve my writing, I wish there was an option to choose when to apply the formatting changes and when to keep the original formatting.

Notion AI really helps me improve my writing, and increases my productivity.
It has also helped me learn Norwegian much better.
It's pretty close to what ChatGPT can provide but it's better because you don't have to leave your fav. note taking app.

Notion AI crashes sometimes, and makes norwegian writing mistakes

the AI feature's ability to respond to each prompt given- this has changed the game for me with my caption creating

I think sometimes, after a while it can get a bit slow to load if there is a lot of information on your workspace

Organisation issues for sure- I have watched countless videos on how to use notion for each area of life and implementing that has been such a benefit to me

Freely design my own workspace. Including media, tables, pdf, usukng the AI assistant just makes studying easy.

Nothing really. Spelling check works best with AI but not the regular one.

The design could be much better, be able to organize in blocks, not only that classic design of list in the left and open on the right.

The ability to keep all of my work in one searchable place. Also the databases are some of the best features that allow me to organize my content, make templates, and keep track of everything I do.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really wish Notion had hover link preview, meaning that when I click a link or hover my mouse over it, it offers a scrollable preview of what's on that page. My work forces me to switch between quite a few tabs (i.e., spells, monsters, statblocks, etc.) so being able to stay on the one page would be really helpful.

It's helping me organize my worldbuilding and professional game master work. I can keep track of my writing, characters, monsters, and more all in searchable databases!

Integrations with thirty-party require a significant amount of time and effort to understand. Nothing that I remember more.

Information visualization and manageable info. I can start adding information without having full spec or scoop on how will use it or do I want to look at it. I can look into different visualization and have more than 1.

for other people to search they have to think similar to the people who added the information. if we can add more tags it would be more accessible to a brother scoop

Have private vs team spaces. Being able to draft a doc for someone teammate and they can adapt to their way of working. being able to select who can edit and who view.
