Great for capturing information
What do you like best about the product?
The tool has tons of templates for sales/marketing/tracking that make it extremely versatile. Great way to make a depository of information for everyone to access - currently use it as an "intranet" for our company.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can become a little cumbersome when you start to use it for an initial CRM and quickly grow out of it - wish there was a way to automate reports easily and set up reminders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily using it as a central place for all company information and tools to access. Briefly used it as a CRM until things became too complex for further use.

It's so customizable and you have very little restrictions. You can set up Notion for how it works best for your company and change as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was a little difficult to get the hang of using at first.

Great versatile documentation / automation tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to document processes and system to align across the organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
slightly slower than other tools depending on how much info there is in the page
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Interanl communication and alignment between departments
Powerful collaboration tool for product development teams
What do you like best about the product?
Notion has a LOT of features and makes sharing content across my team and other folks at my company easy. There are many different formats to choose from, depending on the type of content you need to create.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UX can be frustrating sometimes. When I'm trying to edit a document that I or someone else has created, it's not as smooth or intuitive as working with a Microsoft Office or Google Workspace product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I run a product management team. We use Notion for documenting customer research, writing and sharing PRDs, creating "homepages" for new functionality that we've created, and onboarding for new employees.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Notion is a freemium product, so you can easily try before you buy.
A robust task organizational tool
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how there are different genres of tasks that notion organizes for you right off the bat. There are many ways to sort and organize your tasks, journals, or notes. I really like to use it to keep track of budgeting, home, and work tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the UI is a little overwhelming. I wish there were clearer ways to find/sort templates or tools for specific tasks, i.e. prompt the user with things like "what are you trying to accomplish?" "do you need a chart for this task?" so that there is a more organic way to figure out what of the many templates works best for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I put all of my personal and work tasks in Notion, previously using the Apple notes app. I prefer productivity tools that are incredibly open ended because I think one opportunity cost of time spent organizing tasks/time spent doing tasks involves how much time it takes to organize your tasks and update them daily or weekly.
