Powerful tool with a bit of a learning curve
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for project management and document organization. It allows me and my team to manage workloads and assign tasks to our designers effectively. I appreciate that Notion is a powerful tool that can do a lot more than just project management. We like the table features and project boards, as they are particularly useful for our workflow. Additionally, we have it integrated with Slack, which enhances our team communication.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not very nice looking, and it is not the most intuitive just because it has so many features. To actually build proper pages that were customizable to us took a while since we had to spend quite some time learning how to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion allows me and my team to manage workloads and assign tasks to our designers, helping with project management as well as document organization.
One tool to rule them all
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is our single source of truth for product documentation. It's flexible and the ability to structure information with databases makes everything easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some lags, learning curve, and missing key features like proper subgrouping, pulling data from relational databases etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not centralized information, no proper databases vizualisations, filters, relation…
Clear, Shared Notebook for Gathering Information with Colleagues
What do you like best about the product?
I like the clarity of using it to gather all the information, and the way we treat it like a shared notebook with colleagues
What do you dislike about the product?
it’s often not clear how to structure the page itself: how to set proper spacing, organize sections, and arrange content so the layout is fully clear and easy to follow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is helping us centralize all shared information in one place, so the whole team has access to the same resources, updates, and context. This reduces miscommunication, keeps everyone aligned, and makes it much easier to track progress and collaborate efficiently. By having a single source of truth, we save time and ensure that nothing falls through the cracks.
One Imperfect but Powerful Tool for (Almost) Everything: Project Management, Wiki, and Notes
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it can do (mostly) anything. From project management to wiki to notetaking, it replaces a lot of different tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some integrations are either paywalled - or worse, became paywalled, like GitHub - or simply missing. On top of that, the API is a pain to work with—manually implementing page creation or editing is especially unpleasant and frustrating.
Databases need some tricks and workarounds to perform some actions, like inter-row relations.
Databases need some tricks and workarounds to perform some actions, like inter-row relations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion serves as a central hub for our project management and knowledge base. Having both in one place, with clear relationships between them, is really great and makes it much easier to stay organized.
Versatile Tool with Powerful Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
I really like Notion's tool integrations as it makes document building much easier and smoother. I also appreciate the general aesthetic feel of the product and the sense of robustness it gives. Notion solves various problems for me, like creating versionable documents, facilitating sharing across my team, and providing versatile ways of documentation. It's great for building a library of knowledge and integrates well with different tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
I felt the initial setup of Notion was not that easy, it was a bit confusing since there was a lot going on. I think Notion could improve by adding some kind of autocomplete or AI-related suggestions to help build documents based on similar types.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for versionable documents, team sharing, tool integration, versatile documentation, and building a knowledge library.
Centralized Efficiency with Intuitive UI
What do you like best about the product?
I like the different formatting options in Notion, which allow me to create really compelling documents using visual elements, colors, and structured data from Notion databases. This makes everything hang together really clearly. I like that everyone can see and understand it. It's pretty intuitive to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm a bit disappointed that our organization doesn't use the AI section of Notion, which I'm keen to try, but it requires an upgrade, and we're not willing to spend the money. Also, I think it could be improved to make it clearer when you're doing a group edit. I know you can look back at updates to see who changed what, but it would be helpful if this was visualized in a simple way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion centralizes information, making it easy to find everything in one place. It also automates tasks through smart data structuring, reducing manual processes.
Figma & Zeplin Embeds Make UX Documentation a Breeze
What do you like best about the product?
I'd say the most helpful is the fact that I can embed mentions and previews from Figma and Zeplin. As a UX designer these are key in my workflow and ability to properly fill out our PDR docs and align my vision with our PMs's.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I quick search a document, it would be helpful to have a tree visualisation to see what are the dependencies of my root folder.
I have a lot of documentation and sometimes I can't tell which is which and where it could be nested.

I like that Notion is ergonomic, which allows me to work efficiently. I also appreciate the wide range of possibilities it offers. The templates available on the Internet allow me to work faster thanks to their pre-creation.

Notion has revolutionized our team's collaboration.
What do you like best about the product?
I love Notion because it's so powerful for managing projects, tracking production, and collaborating with my team. I find the databases particularly useful to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I can't find any flaws. Maybe the design could be a bit nicer, but even then, it's already very efficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were looking for a tool to centralize all our production tracking (ad campaigns, visual assets, content writing). The databases are incredibly powerful for that.
