Creative Features Galore, But Needs More App Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the extensive selection of build-out features and AI options available. I enjoy exploring the creative possibilities for setting up various types of pages and accessing different features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like it if there were more options to integrate with other apps, such as Zoom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool has really improved my note-taking experience. I subscribe to the AI transcript feature, and I find it much more helpful than the AI summary in Zoom. I enjoy seeing it transcribe and edit the audio for me. In contrast, I don't like the AI companion in Zoom because it tends to use its own language too much and doesn't provide a transcript, which I find more valuable. The excessive jargon often causes it to miss the key points.
Easy to Use!
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, ability to organize. It has revolutionized the way our household works!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes hard to navigate. Not always intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our household, we are able to use templates to organize our projects and goals. It's greatly reduced mistakes in home managing.
All-in-One Productivity, But Customization Can Be Overwhelming at First
What do you like best about the product?
Notion has everything I need, from storing all my thoughts in one place to streamlining a process from start to finish, even emails. I also love being able to collaborate with colleagues and having a system that works with other company systems. My stress has been significantly reduced since using Notion, and I can't see myself using anything else for my job.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside is that Notion is so customizable it can be overwhelming to get started. I was able to purchase a template and use that with some modifications, but thinking about it I could easily have asked NotionAI to create exactly what I wanted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion allows me to stay on top of my projects and tasks while managing several tactical items. This allows me to focus on strategy and not operations, which is a career goal for me. I also use Nortion as a second brain, so it stores all my meeting transcripts, notes, documents, tasks, and literally everything.
Highly Customizable, But Overwhelming Features and Limited Font Options
What do you like best about the product?
easy to customize the structure and forms
What do you dislike about the product?
too many functions, and I cannot edit Text with self-defined fonts
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me to organize my day-to-day meetings and keep me track of the progress
Effortless Document Sharing and Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Having the ability to store and share documents with coworkers about systems or design decisions, and then receive their feedback, has been very useful. The Notion MCP server is particularly helpful as well. I can develop a system in Cursor and instruct the Cursor agent to generate a Notion document that summarizes the system, which I can easily share with my colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The notion ai assistant could be a bit more helpful and accurate. I asked it to convert part of a document to md format and it struggled to do this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having the ability to communicate and share systems and design decisions with coworkers, as well as receive their feedback, is very valuable to me.
Excellent for Organization and Writing, But Task Management Falls Short
What do you like best about the product?
Notion offers a high level of customization, which allows me to manage all of my projects efficiently. Since I do a lot of writing, I appreciate how it helps me keep everything organized and easy to search.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's fairly average when it comes to managing tasks. I've experimented with different ways to organize my tasks in Notion, but ultimately, I found myself returning to a different task manager. I still wish it were possible to handle everything within a single app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion makes managing my projects much simpler and allows me to keep all my knowledge organized in a single location. I find it far more convenient to access my files here compared to searching for them on my desktop.
Notion AI: The Ultimate Business Tool with Zero Downsides
What do you like best about the product?
Notion AI. Super useful for finding resources internally.
What do you dislike about the product?
Literally nothing. Best tool I've ever used for business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding resources and answers as a new hire.
Notion’s AI and G-Suite Sync Boost Productivity, Though Dashboard Can Be Finicky
What do you like best about the product?
A couple of the things I love most about Notion is that with its AI interface, I can drop in a .pdf and it can create a dashboard for me. I love how easy it is to sync with my g-suite items. I use it daily to keep me on track and make sure I'm getting things done the way I want to and need to.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think at times the dashboard can be a little bit finicky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a great task management software. I also use the AI to record meetings and provide action steps for me that sync automatically with my calendar.
Notion Boosts Team Collaboration, and Notion AI is Game Changing!
What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity of pages, but also has the ability to utilize complex embeds. Notion AI and Agents are a gamechanger. I can keep my team connected with a single knowledge base which makes planning, getting alignment, and answering questions so much easier. Notion is easy for all team members to get started with, and I use it nearly every day, including Notion Mail and Calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
The text selection shortcuts are counter-intuitive and differ from most other applications. As an example: "ctrl + Shift + Up" moves a whole line up, but in every other application that would just select the remainder of the line from that point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easily structuring and centralizing knowledge. The new AI features make it much easier to query across the entire corpus, and the writing improvement tools greatly enhance the quality of notes and layout of the document.
Flexible, Intuitive Organization of a Wide Variety of Information with Powerful AI
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is one of the best ways I've found to organize information, particularly for a group of people to use. I like the database-first approach that gives me the flexibility of presenting the same information many ways across the workspace. I also like the attention to design -- it is very intuitive to work with. Finally, the text editor is also excellent -- the feature set is robust but it gets of your way to allow very fast input.
I also want to mention that their latest update with AI agents is a leap forward over chat windows. The ability to have a Master Prompt and a database of detailed prompts that I can direct the agent to works really well. The fact that I can pipe the output directly to my workspace, in whatever way I tell the AI to add it, has saved me huge amounts of time.
I use Notion more and more -- in both my own business and for other organizations I belong to.

What do you dislike about the product?
It works really well, but a feature from a paradigmatic standpoint I do like Roam Research's more free-form "structure as you go" mentality for personal journaling, ideating and day planning. Notion requires more up-front planning about how to structure a workspace, but unlike Roam I have been able to successfully include non-technically savvy users in my Notion workspaces.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion as a knowledgebase for the Community Water System that I volunteer to manage. Our state regulatory agency requires us to keep a mountain of information, and at our last inspection I didn't even bring the old three-ring binder. Instead, I opened a laptop and was able to refer quickly to each part of our system documentation that the inspector needed to validate. I imagine that the Notion database will be much easier to hand off to the next generation of leaders of this organization than an out-of-date three ring binder.
I also use Notion to qualify and capture leads for my ghostwriting business -- all with AI. The AI searches the web to find prospects and completes a research dossier on each one, along with a suggested outreach script. It saves me huge amounts of time doing the repetitive work that is hard for me to focus on -- leaving me more time to do the creative work I enjoy.
