Comprehensive Tool for Documentation and Notes

  • March 18, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for all our internal documentation and notes. I appreciate the comprehensive tools it offers to manage and create documentation. I like the / commands and the ability to format text easily in lists, pages, and templates. I can type /toggle or use markdown from anywhere, which really streamlines my workflow. Notion AI is also quite helpful; I can ask it to help look back on any documentation and it solves for it. The editing capabilities are insane, making it a powerful tool for maintaining notes and larger documentation. For me, the initial setup was extremely easy, and with 100+ folks using it, it manages to serve our team's needs efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think overall it works great, but the new meeting notes feature if would be more accurate and comprehensive it would make the experience much better
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for managing and creating comprehensive documentation. Notion AI helps me find information in old notes. The editing features, '/ commands', and markdown enhance my documentation process.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion as a homebase for my team, trackers, and content calendars. It really helps by centralizing information, which is a big plus for us. I like the visual blocks and find the drag-and-drop modules easy to use for organizing resources and playbooks. The organization and page architecture are straightforward, which makes everything easier to manage. I can create dashboards for data or outline SOPs effectively with these features. The initial setup was pretty easy, especially since I'm already familiar with it. Overall, it works well for our team of about 12 people.

What do you like best about the product?
I love Notion's ability to enable cross-functional work with all teams, which enhances collaboration. Updating documents easily and sharing them is really convenient, and I find the tool easy to use. It makes using Notion very simple for different projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could be the access to the pages, which are sometimes not so simple. There you go, since not everyone necessarily has access to Notion in the company. With Slack, it's not ideal yet.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Notion is flexible enough to handle anything—from simple checklists to full training systems. It’s intuitive, easy to organize, and makes it simple for our whole team to stay aligned without digging through emails or scattered documents. Notion’s flexibility means we can build pages, databases, and training guides that actually match how our team works—not the other way around. Everything is customizable, easy to reorganize, and simple to update as processes change. Because it all lives in one shared workspace, everyone stays aligned without chasing down files or outdated versions. The initial setup was pretty straightforward, and after setting up a foundation, it was easy for the team to jump in and start using it. Having Notion as the source of truth makes everything easier to reference and keeps our workflows consistent.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion is incredibly powerful, but that flexibility can also mean a steeper learning curve for new team members. It takes a bit of upfront structure to keep everything consistent and easy to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion centralizes our training materials, allowing company-wide collaboration and making information easy to update and access. It reduces clutter from emails and documents, ensuring everyone is aligned with the most current information.
