Convenience for university students
What do you like best about the product?
Free templates available designed by other people and the fact that you can also create your own templates to organize your study materials and everything you need for uni!
What do you dislike about the product?
It was a bit comples to learn using in the beginning. The user interface is a bit complex especially for people that aren't used to technology. However, the user interface is really sleek and clean so I don't mind keeping it that way!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is really helpful with coming up with ideas with the use of Notion AI. This is something that I use in a day-to-day basis to organize my daily routine and also help me for school.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using notion to plan lessons and create resources on topics. I have found the AI speeds up this process by generating content to aide in my delivery. Using the explain feature I can take complex terms and simplify them.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lack of variation in the responces provided. I have suggested a collegue trys the AI features and he gets exactly the same responce as me to each prompt.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When planning lessons and creating resources for computer scinece lessons, Notion AI helps expand upon the specification points. It allows me to quickly generate explinations of complex topics.
Notion is the grad student's best friend!
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that Notion lets you create a page within a page makes for endless possibilities! I like the many different types of content it lets you create, and all its editing features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like there are a lot things you can do with Notion if you have some basic programming knowledge but, for the large majority of users, that's still a little daunting. Also, without having to program anything, there's a little learning curve for using Notion that other programs might not have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me solve almost every need I have as a grad student. Notion is were I keep track of my projects, coursework, exams, and important dates. Notion is were I take notes, were I draft my papers, and now it is also were I ask AI to proofread my emails and texts. I use Notion as a database to keep track of my readings. It's were I keep almost everything.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is solving the problems with silos of information and inconsistant processes within the orgniastion. I allows me to see what the team is working on and iterate.
Great for notetaking
What do you like best about the product?
I think the consistency with the fonts really help with notetaking. I really like the toggles and i use it for quizzing myself. The pages function is also quite helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when pasting in content from word the formatting gets a bit weird, some are in larger headings, some in just bold. I study law so some sections like section 72. would be changed to 1. instead of 72.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its solving grammar issues and general writing proficiency with the help of ai. I find that i dont need to focus on the font or fomatting as much as microdsoft word
Life changing organization tool!
What do you like best about the product?
It's like different notebooks for separate topics, but each notebook can be customized to that topic. This allows for more meaningful and organized notes and planning!
What do you dislike about the product?
The computer version is a bit easier to use than the mobile version. The mobile version is great for on the go but if I'm actually adding things to Notion then desktop version is much more user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to keep track of all my projects, brainstorming ideas, content calendar, and travel details. I can trust Notion for when I just need to dump my thoughts and then come back to it later when needed so that I'm not overwhelmed with all the thoughts and ideas at once.
Notion keeps me organized, I couldn't do my daily work without it!!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the databases, and how you can view pages in different ways depending on what is most effective to harness the power of that information. For instance, a list might work better in some instances vs. a calendar might display that info in a different way depending on different circumstances. I love the flexibility!
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest there really isn't much I don't like about notion except for maybe the fact that not many of my colleagues use it so it makes sharing notes a bit more difficult when I am wanting to use my Notion site but others are still locked in with Word, Google Drive, OneNote etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves all my organizational problems by keeping all my work and personal to dos, lists, notes etc. in one place. It acts as my single source of truth so I am not going to many different places to access the information. The first thing I do every day is log into my Notion, and see what I have to do for the day.

The ability to create systems and have customization and functionality as well curated.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not able to search words or pages. That henders my creative workflow often.

I am able to have a whole CRM, task management and creative workflow in one place without needing several software. It's giving me more time to do other things in business.

I like how customisable it is and how many different things you can use it for. I can make different pages to track and record every component of my life and have it all available and accessible for me in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit more difficult when it comes to exporting pages, especially when trying to export something within a data base. When you download as a pdf it includes the table section. There is also a lot of different inserts that I am unfamilar with and could use more guidance around.

Helps me put all information in one place. Easy for different people to access. Great functionality with the calendar data base feature and being able to see the same information in different formats, and being able to easily filter through the information.
