Game-changer for small business! Efficient for Tasks and Research, but would love AI image creation
What do you like best about the product?
Notion AI is great at taking care of the busy work like research, building to do lists, contact lists. It's very detailed and takes into consideration the specific brand i'm working on so answers are relevant. For a small company like mine where I am not ready to hire an assistant yet, it's perfect. And when I do eventually hire an assistant, I'll still have them use Notion AI to get through the busy-work faster than they could on their own. It's easy to implement into my processes, and is now a daily part of my project management.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it could also create visual concepts to help me workshop marketing assets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Taking care of busy work and research that I need, but I don't have time to do.
Flexible Layering and Powerful Relational Database Make Daily Use Easy
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that it’s flat; I can layer as much as I want to honor it or I can have it as minimalist as I desire it to be. Also, the relational database is absolutely a game changer. I was able to learn how to use it pretty quickly even though its number of uses are vast. Now, I’m able even though its number of uses are vast. Now, I’m able to use it every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everyone seems to have an opinion about it. However, I find that much of the available information is either poorly explained or simply not relevant to my particular use cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I believe Notion is an excellent tool for managing my GTD, RPM, and PARA workflows. It also allows me to efficiently track vehicles and couriers, making it a versatile platform for my needs.

Versatile Tool with Room for Cost-Efficient Automation
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Notion's inline databases which allow me to provide context for any project or program. The formulas and automation within Notion are robust and powerful, making my workflow much smoother. Additionally, I appreciate the clean and user-friendly design that allows me to manipulate pages until they resemble websites.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found the learning curve challenging when first setting up Notion, especially adapting to the use of blocks. It took me about a month to become comfortable with adding and manipulating these. Additionally, I am still getting used to Notion's formula language, which doesn't feel as intuitive as Excel or Google Sheets formulas. I also experienced limitations with our current Plus plan, particularly in not having access to more customized automations. Lastly, the process to print documents or PDFs from Notion isn't intuitive, as the platform resembles a continuously scrolling website, making this task less straightforward.

I use Notion for project management and as a knowledge database, providing visibility of team tasks and serving as a central hub for information.

The process of searching and navigating is not as intuitive as I would like.

Notion excels at capturing meeting minutes, making it unnecessary to have a dedicated note taker.

Powerful and Flexible, but Overwhelming for Non-Techies
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility and capability of the tool and resources. Also, the Notion team appears to be extremely responsive to the community, constantly updating and upgrading the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's overwhelming for a non-techie. What makes it great also makes it frustrating sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm still learning, but its serving as a hub of information. I have ADHD and need to centralize the information of my life and like Notion's power and flexibility to do that in a number of dynamic ways.
