Great for Organization, but JIRA Integration Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, makes documentation look neat. Keeps all information in one place. I use it daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration with other apps especially JIRA is quiet tricky. Doesn't reload jira status atomatically. Also, some times I cannot find the jira ticket on notion by typing in the description. I have to add a link.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can search anything related to my company's internal documentation and AI can summarize it for me.
Great AI Page Generation Feature
What do you like best about the product?
The AI agent to generate pages for design docs etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is not very appealing and user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Majorly helping me answer many work related questions
Flexible Templates and Powerful AI Make Notion a Game Changer
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to not only have a marketplace full of amazing templates for ay scenario in life, but then also have the flexibility to adapt them to your liking and need. The best part now it being able to simply write a note like all the different services you pay for and then ask the Notion AI assistant to turn that into anything you need. I had it quickly implement a chart with all my subscription fees and even make separate pages for monthly and annual services.
What do you dislike about the product?
As someone who has both a personal and business notion, it's still tedious to switch between spaces. It would be nice to have some keyboard shortcuts to quickly switch between accounts like in arc browser, especially when I'm using different spaces on a daily basis. It's also a little annoying that I can't easily sync my personal and work notions together on notion calendar, since I get meeting invites and want to use the built in meeting notes feature, but the integration of multiple accounts on notion is still a bit lackluster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion has helped me create a fully fledged marketing agency CRM. I used a template that I paid for through the webstore, and then edited and even reworded a lot of the titles and sections to my liking. A bit into this process I also realized I could just tell Notion AI to do a lot of this work and made the process ever more efficient. The biggest benefit to using notion instead of traditional CRMs or even connecting other CRMs into it to pull data is that you have something you can easily access anywhere. Whether I'm on my phone, laptop, tablet, or even a different computer in a sticky situation, I always have a way to get into notion, and know that it will work flawlessly on every device.
Impressed by Easy Database Setup and Helpful Features
What do you like best about the product?
I've only just started using it and very impressed! I gave it details of what I wanted the database to look like and it built it for me promptly, and even created different views (which I didn't even know how to do, so it was extra helpful!)
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't found anything yet! All works well
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building things for me, saving time, and actually building things to a higher standard than I would
Love Notion AI, No Complaints
What do you like best about the product?
I truly enjoy using Notion AI and appreciate all the possibilities it opens up for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it quite overwhelming when there are so many resources available, especially since there don't seem to be many effective ways to organize them—unless, of course, there are options I'm just not familiar with yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This serves as the central database for all of our company's resources.
Highly Versatile but Expensive Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Notion consolidates my tasks into one place, making use of Kanban boards to organize my personal and business routines with ease. Its flexibility to manipulate pages in almost any way I desire is very appealing. I also appreciate the 'what you see is what you get' editing style, which makes the setup process intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not particularly a fan of the cost of Notion. Automations are a little clunky compared to Tick Tick as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to consolidate scattered tasks across my home and business, streamlining them into Kanban boards, which enhances my organization and efficiency.
Intuitive Organization and Easy Sharing, but File Tracking Can Be Tricky
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Notion is its organizational capability and commands being intuitive. It didn't take long to learn and wasn't intimidating. I like how it combines text with visuals, like adding emojis or pictures to content. Content is also easy to share and distribute.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be hard to keep track of which files I've opened and which ones I currently have open.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is solving problems of organization and knowledge-sharing across my workspace. It benefits me because I can simply search my workspace's Notion to find answers and more forward on projects without waiting for clarification.
Intuitive, Minimalist, and Reliable: Notion Exceeds Expectations
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy and intuitive to use. The minimalist design also helps you stay focused. Additionally, the system is built on seems very reliable and it doesn't feel like it's a heavy app to load on the laptop or phone
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I haven't found anything that I don't like about Notion. Maybe one thing they could improve is a way to connect notes and pages in a way where you can find things easily, not only by going into the actual page or searching for a keyword.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Documentation of our codebases, keeping track of tasks statuses, policies and permissions
Great Design and Simplicity, but Can Sometimes Oversimplify
What do you like best about the product?
simple user interface, better aesthetics than alternatives.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the autocomplete or auto formatting does more than I want
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me to cooperate on projects with colleagues and track project progress
Great AI Features and Organization, but Licensing Limits Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the AI features and the convenience of having everything organized in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Licensing is a challenge for me because I’m unable to share certain resources across my entire organization, as not everyone has a license. It would be helpful if there were an option to grant read-only access to some users without requiring them to have a license.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Locating information across my organization is essential for me to effectively support and respond to inquiries from our strategic accounts. This process plays a key role in enabling me to fulfill my responsibilities in servicing these important clients.
