Easy to Use, User-Friendly Design That Boosts Efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
User-friendly, simple design and efficient in so many ways
What do you dislike about the product?
Limits of creating inside Pro Plan, limitation within free plan
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Handling internal and centralised documentation and sharing it easily through PDF export or even direct link.
Diversity of Features and Practical Organization
What do you like best about the product?
I like the practicality and diversity of features in Notion. The kanban view is another thing I really appreciate. Additionally, Notion has many more resources and allows for much better organization of things.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there could be a way to organize a visual connection of ideas, like in Obsidian. I think having an organization that connects ideas like a web would be interesting. It was difficult to initially set up Notion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for personal organization and management at work and of people, facilitating the organization of ideas and improving management compared to Trello.
Powerful Document Structuring, Ideal for Startups
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Notion allows you to structure things like how they're presented in a document, which makes them very easy to read. When I print it into a PDF or share a link, it's really good. The feature where documents are inside documents, like a database document, and you get a single link to all those documents is something I found valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to visualize documents because when I click on something, it opens the same tab instead of allowing multiple documents to be open at once. I also had difficulty with the folder structure; I started with a database document, which isn't working well for me since it doesn't support the folder organization I prefer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to structure my startup ideas and personal projects, appreciating how it makes documents easy to read and share. Its document linking and PDF support solve my organization issues, although visualizing nested documents could improve.
Simple to Use, Powerful AI, and Easy Sharing Controls
What do you like best about the product?
Its more simple to use than Docs & i can do a lot of things with AI. Also the feature of share help me a lot to control who can view my content.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of formatting in the pages, sometimes i wish to have more options to format my pages in text & separators
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All of our documentation is in one place, wich help to track all our efforts.
Intuitive UX, Ideal for Project Documentation
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for keeping track of engineering projects and QA, and it solves the problem of keeping documentation and progress organized. It's simple to use, easy to share or comment on docs, and very easy to link pages together, unlike other products. The clean UX makes it a nice product to look at. I love the '/' command to add pages, lines, or bullets, which is great for quick edits. It's easy to add a variety of elements like images and charts just by typing '/'. Notion's simplicity makes it easy to use out of the box, feeling familiar like Google Drive but easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think navigation could be improved a little bit. Sometimes it's hard to tell how docs branch off from each other. It's very easy to search for docs if you know the name of the doc, but I think Notion could do a bit of a better job of helping users maintain a 'table of contents' so to speak. If I'm on Doc A, and I want to get to Doc B, there's no easy way for me to 'go back' until I get to a page where it's obvious to find Doc B. I pretty much have to try and search for it by name. I'm sure they could use some AI to help with the navigation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me keep documentation and progress organized, allows us to write RFCs and design docs, and track QA seamlessly. It's easier to navigate than Google Drive or Docs. The '/' command enhances ease of use, and linking pages is simple and efficient.
Powerful Collaboration and Documentation Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I find Notion to be quite beneficial for various tasks at the company level, including technical documentation and internal procedures. I really like the powerful database capabilities. The AI and meeting transcription in multiple languages are super helpful, even though there are sometimes errors. Usually, the summaries and tasks from the transcriptions are accurate and align with what we intended. The initial setup was fairly smooth, with the admin creating a top-level page and granting us editing rights.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think transcription should try and identify different speakers. Also, recognition can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for collaboration, meeting recording and transcribing, goal and action tracking, and process automation.
Highly Customizable to Fit Our Team’s Needs
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can customize it to fit my needs, as well as what my department wants to see.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were a few limitations in how we could label cells. There also weren’t many color options available for the cell labels, which made customization feel a bit restricted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At the moment, there aren’t any problems we need Notion to solve—it's working well for us.
Customizable, User-Friendly, and Team Unifying
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how customizable Notion is while still being very user-friendly. It allows us to link our team together, letting us share projects and tasks across the team and track each other's work effortlessly. I also appreciate the feature that allows each user to filter the page to show what they need to see. Overall, I'm very happy with Notion and plan on using it for the foreseeable future for me and my team. The initial setup was super easy, which was a big plus for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the filtering options could be improved. I have a 'done' column where we put projects when they're finished. I'd like to see recently finished projects on my home screen but can't find a way to filter by the date moved into that category, so I can't filter out the older stuff.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps manage projects and tasks, preventing them from falling through the cracks. It's customizable, user-friendly, and links our team for sharing tasks. Each user can filter to see what's relevant, enhancing our project tracking.
Intuitive and Simple, But AI Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy Notion is to use. It's really easy to dive right into it and start working for the day. The simplicity of the platform, which was a big reason for me switching from Asana, makes it quite appealing. The initial setup was also really easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I ran into a limit with the AI usage, and the AI kinda doesn't do a great job fetching what we need. It seems like you could use a more frontier model like Claude or something for more context.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to track things daily and easily search for notes whenever I need to recount them.
Versatile, Visualization-Rich Tool That’s Become My Go-To Management Database
What do you like best about the product?
The versatility for being so much more than just a schedule. All the visualizations for the data and how ou can automate tasks. It's my new go-to tool for management database.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel limited by the lack of freedom to do more. Some features, like certain connections and unlimited AI, seem like they could be available on smaller plans as well. I also wish I could build more automations and have more flexibility when editing the databases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My main issue was that my organization lived inside Google Suite (Sheets and Forms). With Notion, I feel more secure and I have more options to visualize my database. I ended up building a design hub in Notion, with lots of automations and integrations, which made everything feel more organized and easier to manage.
